The selection of films is always a pleasant surprise at the festival. The only non-Viff related issue which can be improved --- the air circulation is each venue, especially those smaller ones, I hope the organizer can consider turning the air con on for at least 30 mins to refresh the stuffiness inside the room.

What on earth?! Repeatedly called the phone number this morning, Oct 10, that is given online, followed by the prompt for reception at 0, and each time after a few rings got the call dropped. How can we contact VIFF in Vancouver to verify our purchased 5 packs have the desired films ticketed? Where is VIFF's email address as an alternative to the non-functioning phone line? Can one only make contact by appearing at a venue in person? Not very handy for the disabled!
The place is beautiful aesthetic wise and the theatres are very clean.
I respect that they show the indie, foreign, and smaller films.

A place that supports the film community in Vancouver. Easy to get to and reasonably priced city street parking.
The new renovations have made this theatre even better. If you are looking for great non-Hollywood movies this is THE place to come in Vancouver. Aside from hosting VIFF every year, there is a year round schedule chocked full of thoughtful, provocative and deeply entertaining programming. Concession serves alcohol at some shows (depends on the rating) and there are huge comfy seats. What more do you need?
An absolutely wonderful theatre. Great staff, great film programmes and a brilliant venue to host your own films! A true supporter of real indie film!
