Read the contract carefully !!!! We have had to pay for many things in the house ourselves, while this should be at their expense (defects in the house). Now we are out of the house for 2 months and we still get bills that they pass on to us even though they paid them 2 years ago! NO GOOD WORD FOR THIS COMPANY!

Very bad company to rent a property from. Let a 70 year old woman sit for 4 weeks with a broken boiler. I had to arrange everything myself to have it replaced, while they, as the owner of the building, should have done this. Floor coverings etc all start to mold due to leaks, but if you send a complaint e-mail they will not respond. I have also been calling for 1.5 months, but you guessed it, I am constantly told that the person who is talking about it is not present. In the meantime, 10 callback notes have already been made, but unfortunately this is not being responded to. Maintenance is not carried out on the property, but it does increase the rent every year. Someone comes by every time to look in the house, but then nothing happens.
Would therefore think carefully whether you want to rent a property through this company !!!!!! Must click 1 star, but even they do not deserve.
Do not rent from this party. Criminal organization that tries to split all kinds of costs in your stomach on non-legal grounds. They are not alien to threats
Don't start! Since I have been living in a house of this landlord, I have nothing but problems. Van Herk does not want to take responsibility in many respects. The house was delivered in bad condition. Everything has to be as cheap as possible, they do not want to contribute to maintenance costs. In addition, the employees are very unfriendly on the phone. No professional organization, poor communication: just don't do business with.

Ridiculous! I have lived less than 2 years in a rental home where there were all kinds of defects. Last year I had to jump high and low in order not to continue with the rent increase, where the group promised to get better, 10x has not been fulfilled. I have had a leak for over a year and now they are simply increasing again and that also in difficult corona periods.
Do not rent or buy here!

We bought a house from this company in 2010. In the brochure the house was advertised as being completely renovated and ready to move in. In the years that followed, it became clear what National Land Ownership means by this. One defect after another became apparent. Large and small defects, up to a complete leak in the toilet because the material was of poor quality (cheap!) And dubious way of connecting.
The company's only response is that they are not liable, that they are not going to pay anything and that we cannot go back on the sale. Apparently any customer friendliness and respect is too much to ask for at this company. Very unfortunate!
Sad company. Are not willing to spend even a cent on regular maintenance, but of course want to collect as much as possible. Crooks.
I have been a tenant at van Herk for over 3 years, now I am moving. But I am very satisfied with the service at van Herk. Three years ago at the time of delivery, everything went smoothly and I was neatly helped with everything by Monique
In the end I was able to nominate my girlfriend for the house, and everything went well. I received my deposit back on time and clear agreements have been made for both parties.
