Place was fast unloading. Some room on the road to park if you want. Wish more places were like this.

Washroom n vending machines available.
Easy backup.

This place is a joke! 3 hours + to unload and 2 hours + of waiting game to get papers back...

Been a year since I've delivered, new lumper service is far better than previous. Can still park on the street.

If u have no seal on the load delivery to them. U must be very careful with the lumber company... later unload your truck them will tell u missing something... unload extremely slow .. unprofessional for the job ...special the old lady

Rude people. Had a mix-up with a van and reefer load and as i was working with the broker they're knocking on my door and telling me i can't stay on the property. That's ok, i got paid tonu and leaving your crappy place.

The most rudest truck driver I have ever encountered. As I was trying to leave my child's school he blocked me in and angled his truck so it was almost impossible to get out. When I asked for help he told me no and ignored the fact that he had cars blocked in. He could have drove in and not blocked any cars but he intentionally drove in and turned his truck to block all of the cars.

I was really worried when I read all the bad reviews. However, Parking on the street was available, I checked in 30 minuets ahead and was empty 45 minutes after my appointment on a dry load of flower. They came out and let me know how much the lumper was and came out again to give me my paperwork.

I gotta say it was a pretty good experience! I think all the bad reviews may certainly have helped. None the less, we drivers need to take care of ourselves and continuously leave feedback because someone high up could be listening. I think that may have been the case here!

This review is for the driver who flys down my residential street and almost ran me over a few min ago.

Bad attitudes here. Called two different times here and both were very poor responses from the lady answering the pohne.

Absolutely pathetic,slow, rude and also highway robbery $430 for a lumbar and also 5 1/2 hour to unload. Won t be coming back here avoid it like the plague.

Pretty good company, for selecting the hours aren t the best (5pm-4am for example) but the pay is decent and so are the people you work with. If you can make quota and handle working in a refrigerator this is not a bad job.

Avoid this place. In 8:30 am now 2:00 pm not unloading 6 pallets...

Edit: HR contacted me and was very compliant and friendly towards my concern.

Delivery driver for the downtown area was not wearing a mask and not compliant when asked.
There are known covid cases in the industry downtown. It is very dangerous and scary to know that a big vendor for restaurants is ignoring the protocol set by the govorner for everyone s safety

Call them before you arrive and get instructions. After that, its a piece of cake! Delivered 5 pallets and charged $166.00 for 11 line items. Kinda steep lumpers fee. Staff is quick and efficient. Had me unloaded and received in an hour. Young lady that processes inbounds is one of the cutest women I've seen in a warehouse enviroment. Great experience delivering here. 2 hours and counting for 3 pallets and also a 66.00 lumper for 3 pallets place is garbage

Nicest staff I have ever encountered. I was waiting about 15 minutes on my own dispatch for Express code for lumper fee. No less than 10 people ask me if I've been help. Quick unload about 30 min for full trl.

Ridiculously long unload and more expensive than most. I hope I don't have to come back here. Almost ran my clock completely out.

LO3644 truck tried to run me and my family off the road at Burton on ramp at 335pm on the 5th of February, 2019..... Very displeased with the way the truck driver represented the company.

they get an "f" on their report card.
$406.00 lumper fee...I got a door pretty fast,but all downhill from there...4 hours for 12 skids ...still waiting for paperwork...sad....that's half a work day for "normal jobs"...just pissed away....shameshameshame

These cats were on top of their A-game for real! As soon as we pulled up a gentleman came up to our truck & grabbed our paperwork then got us in a door ASAP. We were 1/2 hour early so waiting until our "appt time" wasn't an issue. Once backed in, we were locked & loaded & hittin' the road again to pick up our next load. Keep up the good work Van Eerden-you are appreciated!

Read the reviews. So I checked it a half hour early. Wow no kidding what a joke. They tell me to come back in an hour and a half later in "hopes" to check me in due to the night crew not done with their work yet. So many people doing nothing and so little people working. Great there goes my clock! SMFH!!!!!!!

Staff & people here are too nice. Take it from a Canadian, I would know. I would apply right now to be around a team like this!!

So I do not typically post negative reviews on any company but on this particular company I have to post a negative review the communication on their part is atrocious. We had been with them for a several years due to the virus we had to shut down our business and we owed a back bill for less than 2500 . A representative was asked if it would be OK if we made a few split payments because we were not open we were assured that it was no problem I have this in writing Friday I have a call from a collection agency being told that this company sent us to collections they don't know boil tea they don't know how to communicate and their product is garbage be very weary when dealing with them

The services today we're a Bulls Eye. I didn't even have my truck parked when the Lady handed me my invoice & the dock employee was loading me up. Thank you for the Great Service. TURBOJIMSLLC

Meghan Fenner is cool! She is an awesome driver. She is very courteous and professional but please take her gun away.

Gave them a second chance-big mistake.

Came here to deliver this people are very organized.
The area is clean well maintained and employees are very helpful and happy.
Have to pay Lumper but it wasn't expensive.
I would gladly come back and deliver here and recommend it to anyone.

Appt at 12:30, arrived at 9:10 and immediately gave the door

Had a 6am appt. We were unloaded within an hour. Very polite and courteous employees.

App was for 6 AM, got door at 6 AM, was empty at 7:20 AM. Awesome for reefer. Lumper was 356$ for 19 skids. Overnight parking on the street.

New procedures this week. Pull in yard, stay in truck. Lumpers will come to you for check in. No drivers in warehouse. Porta pottie avail.

Drivers! Not bad place it took 3-4 hrs for unloading frozen load. Good thing you can park on the street at night, but no overnight parking inside.

Good place, ppl r not rude like many places. Maybe u hv to wait a bit depend on ur load. Very high lumper. For one quarter trailer unload $506.00 luckily we dont pay from our pocket.

get a door at 6.......start on at 8 MABEE, got done at 10 15 .......expensive for lumper.... just plain IGNORANCE at this place!!!!!!!! CANT WAIT TA NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!!

I don't know much about Van Eerden Foodservice, years ago I delivered produce there, they were awesome then and they're awesome now.
Only picked up some small Freight there today. Everyone was helpful and friendly.

Got me in and out my only delay was because I was early for my appointment my advice to anyone going here try not to be more than thirty minutes early because you'll be waiting if your early !good people good place to do business

In 0545 for 0600 appointment. Out 0715. Very good staff. Easy in and out. Lumber guys are professional. It seems every one is happy and will ask you if I am helped.
You can park grant st or graham st and go around. If you come from S take left grant go around and park Graham you can take left Ionia. They stop receiving 1300.
