The workers are super helpful. The children's department is the best I've seen. The summer reading program gives you something to do, and it's for the whole family.

They are now finally fully open. They require a mask to be worn correctly to enter, and they will not issue one. Normal pre covid hours

Health precautions are being taken. The library has done a good job of adjusting to our current situation. I appreciate the changes have been made for safety of clients and staff.

The Decatur Public Library is a grest place full of books, magazines, DVDs, and any other resource you might need. Furthermore, the people working there are very friendly and helpful.

I love the selection and they have these amazing self checkout stations. Very high tech and impressive

They are rude and have old books. And homeless people use the bathrooms like its there shower

Decatur IL has one one of the most Quiet and Clean libraries in Central Illinois. Absolutely Fantastic!!!

So many Decaturites grew up going to, researching at, learning the love of books and loving the Decatur Public Library. So many of us still do and now with computer access and so many new services, its an even better place to be. Thank you for being there for us!

Great place. Very friendly staff. I used to read here for hours when I was in highschool.

The library has a great selection of books and audio visual materials to choose from. The computers are easy to access and there are receptionists available to help.

I love the Decatur Public Library!!! I go often to checkout books and movies. It's a wonderful place. The librarians are so helpful. If the library doesn't have what I am looking for they can usually get it for me.

Most online places have newer movies but Decatur public library has older movies which are the classics to me anyway loved running up the stairs when I was a kid to go to the kids section always met the allowed limit of check out nice building and good atmosphere

Nice clean building. Organized and ran efficiently. The children s library has so many books to choose from, as does the young adult and mature section. Summer reading program had great prizes keeping kids motivated to read throughout the summer. No Sunday hours, which is kind of a bummer...but they do have extended hours throughout the week. Kids love it!!

Fantastic library. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Great selection of all kinds of books, huge children's section as well. They also have a ton of DVDs to choose from.

1st time back since Covid 19. Staff person who checked me out was thoughtful and gracious.

Easy in and easy out, I order my books from home, so I only have to go in and check out.
