I'm not quite sure why overall this company has 1 star. My experience was a full 5 stars. I contacted Valuation on Friday for an urgent house buyers report, on the same day they had sent me a quote, had taken payment and booked the survey in for the following Wednesday. And the report sent to me by the Thursday. Everything done and dusted within 6 days! I'm so impressed with the swift, quick and efficient response I have received from the company. I shall certainly be recommending to my friends and family. Certainly 5 stars, well done

From start to finish the service was brilliant, responses to emails where literally in minutes. The Surveyor (Stephen) couldn't do enough for us calling before to ask us if theres anything we wanted him to look at in particular.

Very poor. Avoid them at all costs and if your bank wants to instruct them, then my advice is that you insist they use someone, anyone else, literally. **The only 5 star review for them is from Jodie Whipps who worked for them as a Mortgage Advisor!!** They valued our property as we need to split assets (one buying the other out) following a relationship breakdown. Had the property valued by 4 Estate Agents and did independant research on property values etc. An utterly ludicrous valuation that brings into question the competence of the Surveyor. It is not just crazy but extremely damaging, this is causing so many problems and anymosity between myself and my ex, arguing over money and what to do.

Absolutely awful company, why Natwest use them as their mortgage valuers is beyond me. Spent less than 5 minutes in our property and valued it 30k less than local estate agents. The result, we cannot remortgage. Lack local knowledge, ALL houses on our road have risen 20% since new build and ours apparently hasn't, despite being extended. Absolute clowns.

Really good service - the guy who performed the survey phoned the day before to chat about what to expect, anything in particular we wanted him to check out, etc. He phoned again after the survey for a candid chat, which we really appreciated it as it meant we weren't worrying about what the report was going to say. The report came back quicker than we expected too. This is the 3rd time we've used a surveyor and our best experience so far. I was surprised to see the low ratings when leaving this review, but would urge anyone who's hesitant to actually read them - it's almost exclusively people who are disgruntled that their valuation came back lower than they wanted. The entire reason why banks commission valuations is that sometimes people offer more than a house is worth (especially at the moment, with the bubble created by the stamp duty holiday) - that's not the surveyor's fault!

Had a valuation this week by Valunation on behalf of Natwest. We have recently renovated the property to a high standard, which has been valued by 3 different estate agents in the the local area so we were aware of what our property would sell for. Valunation have some how come to the conclusion that our property is worth a whopping 40k less! This in turn has meant our mortgage can not be approved with Natwest. We have been Natwest customers for the last 30 years. Extremely disappointed by Valunation and Natwest for using this company. Good luck to anyone who has do deal with Valunation, prepare for dissapointment

Just received the valuation of my house for a remortgage. The gentleman who came to my house explained that he lived locally and was an expert in the area (M46). However the report has come back stating The estimated value on the More

Valued my property - issue one of they under valued it considerably approx 10% of the value. Despite been in line the market in the local area set out by multiple estates agent and an independent valuation. Understand they have a duty of care to the mortgage company but to be that far out is significantly worrying and alarming. Issue 2 - We placed a challenge which took over 3 weeks of constantly chasing by the estate agent etc. Unable to actually engage with the surveyor direct a random number. From my personal experience if any buyer mortgage company was to use them I would have serious reservations. (unable to comment on "value of service" undertaken by buyer mortgage company). Result - a collapse chain from both sides due to time taken to challenge . Admittedly they thought is was worth a given figure which I accept is their opinion but poor service after resulted in collapse chain. My parting comment to this outfit please acknowledge people's mental health in an extremely stressful time.

Absolutely awful! Had a homebuyer survey booked for a month, given full details of property on booking the appointment, promptly paid fee, survey booked for the weds and I am called at 4.45pm the Friday before to say that the surveyors didn't feel they could look at the property. Given very little reasoning as to why, and told i'l just have to find someone else and I will be returned my money in 5 days, disgusting!!!!!

Unbelievable! Do not use this company ! Surveyor advised my unaware tenant that we were selling and now we are hoping they do not leave early. Obviously advised them of details which were nothing to do with them and a breach of data protection When advised company the surveyor denied this and they basically did not care ! If you do not want your privacy and business related to others given out stay away from this company ! Completely unprofessional and simply rude !

Avoid at all costs. If a mortgage provider wants to send this company round, refuse. Valued a property considerably less than agreed sale causing it to fall through. Just take a look at the glass door reviews too, there is a obvious culture of employees being pushed to under value.

Do not use them. The survayor came 45 minutes before the aijtment time. Apointmet was between 9am and 1pm, he arrived 8.15am and called me 4 times. I live 1 hour aways from the house. He spent less than 4 minutes. Never enetered to or inspected the living room or any of the 3 bedrooms. Not looked in to the loft, never measured anything. Valuation came 30,000 less than the local estate agent estimate and 12% less than the last sold house price in the same street, eventhoug i got extra more bedroom. The house was done completely including skirting board, new bathroom and kitchen and doors, windows, locks..... Complained to the technical director Simon Davies. He said sorry you are not ouw client and our client is the lender/bank and we cannot talk to you. Stay away and use someone else. Absolutely unprofessional. I will be complaining to RICS, their governing body. Comment after the reply below: He or your company never checked comparable. Yes I know that's how you should have done. But your company not done that and there is a 2 bedroom house on the same street sold for 25,000 (12.5%) higher than the valuation you given to me. Is that the comparable your talking? Why you not take my complain seriously even and ignore it. He was unprofessional. He did spend less than 4 minutes, never entered to the living room or any of the 3 bedrooms. What's your answer to that question? Is that's your standard? When I made a complain you just ignored it.
