Great facility. So many things to do and done here. Not just OSU sport teams.
Went last week to see John Mayer. Had an excellent time, I also felt like concession prices weren't to terribly unreasonable.
Beautiful venue! Been there for a hockey game, and now a graduation and it was great both times!
The avent was cool.We spent $77.00 on 5 drinks 3 pretzels 1 licorice $57.00 $20. For 1 Mask & cotton candy
I guess don't get the refill drink unless you get it early.
O well it was GREAT Family time
They have Totally upped the game for Monster Jam
Great arena. Lots of parking. Close to 315 and osu campus
Saw Dave Matthews Band from Club level. Good sound, comfortable seats, good food and drinks. The staff was extremely nice everywhere we went in the building.
Nice facility, but leaves something to be desired from an atmosphere perspective when watching OSU basketball.
Went for a Graduation ceremony- it just happened to be a bad weather day, so this was a Great Locale!
Very friendly staff - ushers, elevator operator, parking - great visit!
Great place to have the state finals for girls high school basketball. Easy to navigate, parking was a breeze, and the atmosphere was electrifying.
Went and saw Alan Jackson here
Great show great venue really like the place
I was lucky enough to be able to take a group of young folks and parents on a tour of the Schottenstein Center. The gentleman who escorted us through was very knowledgeable about the center, and had great soft skills dealing with our restless charges.
My only complaint is that there is no reentry for those of us who smoke.
Seen journey and def Leppard here....was quite the show...very much satisfied...
Great staff and service. Have been here for many concerts and have had a positive experience each time.
Amazing place to go see an event of any sort but as usual the cost of the food and drink is incredibly high. One star deducted for the high concession cost but great other than that.
Great facility, easy to park during a hockey game get there an hour early and find close free parking
Enjoying the OHSAA wrestling tournament. Top Mitchell location.
I blundered when ordering tickets to a hockey game online, and the ticket office customer service was very kind and accommodating about solving my problem. Thanks
Great Stadium, perfect venue for Ohio State men and women's basketball, and Ohio State men's ice hockey
Had a great time at the OSU basketball game cannot wait to go back!
Best place to watch a basketball game, usher are great and there are a lot of choices for food and surprisingly affordable
We were here for the marvel live show. The view was great and the show was awesome. Parking was easy and easy to exit post show.
Perfect venue for your show needs.
Great venue for shows and concerts but too big for basketball games to get loud and offer the team a distinct home court advantage. Which is a shame since that is what is was "built for".
Great place to not only watch basketball but hockey also
Arena is ok but I like Nationwide Arena better. Nationwide Arena is more intimate and the all around experience is better.
Fun event. Small, uncomfortable seating...and that's coming from a small person.
It can hold 20,000 audiences. The seats are comfortable and you can see the game from any angle even from the seats up there. We watched OSU vs. Purdue game there. It was enjoyable and delightful!
Easy to get in and out of, good parking coordination by staff. Inside has extremely friendly employees at concession and concierge. GO BUCKS!
Saw Elton John here and had terrible seats, but the sound quality was still excellent. The arena is very nice, but with all of Ohio State's banners and athletic signage hanging from the ceiling, views can be obstructed. Not my favorite concert venue in town, especially when seats are expensive and in the higher levels.
Only complaint would be how crowded it gets at times in the gift shop and hallway's, but that is to be expected. Great employee s always willing to help, and great atmosphere/energy that Ohio fans are well known for.
Came here to see the Harlem Globetrotters, what a fun show! Love that we were able to go down on the court prior to the show starting. Seating is tight but the drink holders are a nice option. Friendly staff and plenty of bathrooms. Parking can be a bit of a trek so plan to arrive super early if you are concerned with a walk.
Wonderful time while we were there watching. Great seats.
The Harlem Globetrotters
This was my first visit. It was surprisingly easy to get in and out of. The parking was pretty straight forward. Lots of restrooms and vendors. I am not one who enjoys driving in Columbus, but even with normal delays this was a relatively stress free strip. The parking attendants were very helpful. The facility itself was easy to navigate as well.
Horrible venue, food was overpriced and have me indigestion for days. You sold us tickets dor over $300 and I went to hang with my friend for her birthday.
Love going here. I always have a good experience when I come here
It was my first time coming to this venue from out of town for a concert. I was pleasantly surprised with the facility. Clean bathrooms, very easy access for parking with lots of options, and I felt safe when I left the building late at night to walk to my car. This venue also had a lot of food and drink options inside and in the surrounding area. The traffic flow in and out was great and very efficiently handled by law enforcement. I will definitely be going back for future events, very impressed!
Loved this place! Seats were very easy to find and show was amazing.
I have attended a couple of events at the Schott and I have really enjoyed them. This particular time I bought floor seats for Trans Siberian Orchestra for my parents, my husband, our son, and myself. The handicap parking is kind of far for people who have mobility issues but aren't confined to a wheelchair. However, there were seats available once inside the building before heading to our seats. After the show we waited in a long line for the elevator to take us up stairs but the person running the elevator offered us their seat, which was very kind. Once up stairs they allowed us to wait inside (even though we had already exited the building) while someone in our party went to get our vehicle and pick us up at the door. The show was fantastic and we had a wonderful time. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The only thing I would suggest is to make handicap parking available closer to the building, or, allow for people to drop others off at the door when arriving. I understand that this could cause some difficulty so it may not be possible but it would be very helpful.
I had to pay $3.50 for a Bottle of water and then had to throw a small fit to get the lid to the bottle. I was lied to and told it was due to the cap enabling someone to throw the bottle as a weapon. If I could use a bottle of water as a weapon I would be the next RAMBO!!
The seats are smaller than others places i been so if your 6'-2 or taller or 250+ your going to have trouble with your seats. They have other seating but you can't get them from Ticketmaster or StubHub you have to call them to get the tickets
Bad parking, unfriendly staff, poor venue to see a concert.
We always love coming to shows here!! It's definitely worth the hour drive for us!!
I love going to the Shottenstein center for concerts! The parking is close so you don't have to walk far. All the seats in the house have a great view of the stage and we always have tons of fun here. Great venue!
The home of the the Ohio State University best college in the country
It could have better parking. It's a nice venue but it could be updated a wee bit.
The staff in the lounge was friendly and helpful. However a lot of the staff in the hallways were frustrating as they wanted to verify my ticket several times.
We saw frozen on ice. It was amazing my kids had so much fun!
Cool facility but parking was a nightmare and not managed well at all for Elton John concert. Arena right in Ohio State campus so you'd think they had more experience managing crowds but it wasn't apparent that night. Facilities clean, drinks no more expensive than any other arena. Ushers very helpful, security was professional and crowd was friendly.
Awesome experience, great fun at Ohio men's basketball game.
