I was lucky enough to be able to take a group of young folks and parents on a tour of the Schottenstein Center. The gentleman who escorted us through was very knowledgeable about the center, and had great soft skills dealing with our restless charges.

It can hold 20,000 audiences. The seats are comfortable and you can see the game from any angle even from the seats up there. We watched OSU vs. Purdue game there. It was enjoyable and delightful!

Saw Elton John here and had terrible seats, but the sound quality was still excellent. The arena is very nice, but with all of Ohio State's banners and athletic signage hanging from the ceiling, views can be obstructed. Not my favorite concert venue in town, especially when seats are expensive and in the higher levels.

Only complaint would be how crowded it gets at times in the gift shop and hallway's, but that is to be expected. Great employee s always willing to help, and great atmosphere/energy that Ohio fans are well known for.

Came here to see the Harlem Globetrotters, what a fun show! Love that we were able to go down on the court prior to the show starting. Seating is tight but the drink holders are a nice option. Friendly staff and plenty of bathrooms. Parking can be a bit of a trek so plan to arrive super early if you are concerned with a walk.

This was my first visit. It was surprisingly easy to get in and out of. The parking was pretty straight forward. Lots of restrooms and vendors. I am not one who enjoys driving in Columbus, but even with normal delays this was a relatively stress free strip. The parking attendants were very helpful. The facility itself was easy to navigate as well.

It was my first time coming to this venue from out of town for a concert. I was pleasantly surprised with the facility. Clean bathrooms, very easy access for parking with lots of options, and I felt safe when I left the building late at night to walk to my car. This venue also had a lot of food and drink options inside and in the surrounding area. The traffic flow in and out was great and very efficiently handled by law enforcement. I will definitely be going back for future events, very impressed!

I have attended a couple of events at the Schott and I have really enjoyed them. This particular time I bought floor seats for Trans Siberian Orchestra for my parents, my husband, our son, and myself. The handicap parking is kind of far for people who have mobility issues but aren't confined to a wheelchair. However, there were seats available once inside the building before heading to our seats. After the show we waited in a long line for the elevator to take us up stairs but the person running the elevator offered us their seat, which was very kind. Once up stairs they allowed us to wait inside (even though we had already exited the building) while someone in our party went to get our vehicle and pick us up at the door. The show was fantastic and we had a wonderful time. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The only thing I would suggest is to make handicap parking available closer to the building, or, allow for people to drop others off at the door when arriving. I understand that this could cause some difficulty so it may not be possible but it would be very helpful.

I had to pay $3.50 for a Bottle of water and then had to throw a small fit to get the lid to the bottle. I was lied to and told it was due to the cap enabling someone to throw the bottle as a weapon. If I could use a bottle of water as a weapon I would be the next RAMBO!!

The seats are smaller than others places i been so if your 6'-2 or taller or 250+ your going to have trouble with your seats. They have other seating but you can't get them from Ticketmaster or StubHub you have to call them to get the tickets

I love going to the Shottenstein center for concerts! The parking is close so you don't have to walk far. All the seats in the house have a great view of the stage and we always have tons of fun here. Great venue!

Cool facility but parking was a nightmare and not managed well at all for Elton John concert. Arena right in Ohio State campus so you'd think they had more experience managing crowds but it wasn't apparent that night. Facilities clean, drinks no more expensive than any other arena. Ushers very helpful, security was professional and crowd was friendly.
