Old Colony Masons would rather pay a bit more to buy high quality items from small business owners. Big box stores are destroying our economy and the quality of products is definitely inferior. Support local small business.

If I could give it a no star, I will. I'm calling regarding the order that I placed 8 weeks ago for my rental property. The item has been rescheduled for delivery for weeks. When I called again, I was put on hold many times, transferred to many departments retail personnel yet no resolution. Will not order online product at this company in the future.

90 days later, my one day job is still not complet...

90 days later, my one day job is still not complete. Lowe's ruined my lawn and left me with an $8000 eyesore of a fence for a whole summer. I have called and emailed countless times for the entire summer only to be repeatedly let down by incorrect parts orders, no shows and cancelled installation days.

We got quotes from several fence installers, but were sold Todd Bubello's false promise that Lowes could do a faster, higher quality install than the competitors.

Went to Lowe's in Dedham Mass today ,Saturday morning trying to check out at the lumber register by the overhead door eight people in front of me and 30 people in back of me and only one register open on a Saturday.
Employees walking by and nobody to man the second register,. They had to be somebody else in that store that could have manned the 2nd register. I'm sure there were a lot of unhappy people today and that line and I am one of them.

So aggravating waiting for something you already paid for to pick up. I bought a refrigerator and they took forever to bring it out then when they finally brought it out i had to wait for someone to help me put it in my van. That took forever the person disappeared and I ended up having to do it by myself with my husband. never again will I do pick up and they had no customer service skills at all. They should be working in the warehouse and not upfront....

Not enough staff to help customers. No one at the Pro desk. Very long line at customer service. Flooring order came in and we were notified but, when we arrived they couldn't find the order in the store. It took two days to track it down.

I went in to talk to someone about countertops 3 times and I was ignored. When I finally did get help, my order never went through, after having to give my information twice. I ended up having to purchase through a different store. All other departments are great and super helpful

Once again I have had the worst experience with this store and their customer experience. I ordered a door and after several times on hold and over an hour each time on hold they told me it was all set to come in and complete. The next day I took the time to go and waited over 40 minutes to be assisted. They called a manager three times saying that someone was coming right over and no one showed. When I expressed frustration that I was told it would only take 10 minutes. Two associates who were helping me gave me long explanations that it was someone else s fault and not theirs. So apparently everyone is for themselves there and no one will take initiative to actually help you. I would say this is just the doors and windows group but it appears the whole store needs significant customer service training.

I knew what I was looking for and ran into a store employee who pointed me in the right direction for all the items on my list.
Although the store was very busy, the check out lines were long but very fast!

The employees in this Lowe s are literally just counting down the minutes... on the intercom... They just leave alarms going, don t want to solve problems... we stood in line waiting while a circle of employees stood there making small talk and every single one of them looked at us and just kept standing there until finally one of them - the manager - was like well ok I guess we have to work, grumble grumble . 90 seconds isn t a crazy long time but it s weird to stand there watching 6 employees be pathetic like that for 90 seconds in a row - especially when you re having a productive day and trying to get stuff done. Sad

I was very disappointed by the selection here. However for tools you can find tns of stuff. Having bought the Craftman brand from Sears there is Craftman stuff all over the store. I was looking for bathroom hardware and their selection was tiny compared to Home Depot.

Overall, Lowe's prices are lower than that "depot" of an other home improvement store and it seems more socially responsible/conscious than that other store. However, this location is a distance to get to -- whether by car or by #35 bus -- and didn't have everything I needed when I was there. But the items that were available were priced well within or below my budget.

The shelving section was a total mess. Someone had gone through and opened almost every bag of support beams and dumped the parts out. After spending 30 minutes sifting through the pile of junk, we were barely able to scrounge up enough parts to hang a six foot shelf. Home Depot is a little bit farther away, but they at least have their sections are clean and well stocked.

Was told to come to the store and the associate would take care of my order. I went to the store, waited 45 minutes for someone in the department to assist me. They never came. I left the store and will purchase the product elsewhere.

This is pretty well the closest Lowe's to a good share of Boston, so fortunately it's a pretty decent location. The store is good sized and has a reasonable appliance and home goods section as well as a good selection of the kinds of things I expect to find in a hardware store.

Zero would be the rating. Monday we purchased almost $1600 of paint and materials for renovations. The paint department had one person on and we bought ten gallons of paint to be tinted and nixed. The gentleman helping us was fine but there was another customer waiting so he asked another employee if she could help. She was unbelievably rude and nasty in her answer and resfused to assist a customer. Then we paid $65 to have items delivered. They do not deliver into the house just dump the stuff outside. No one told us this. We do not have anyone to carry these items in. I'm 71 and certainly can't carry a heavy door and drywall etc. I am disgusted. When I called to speak to a manager no one would answer. This store is horrendous. I may just return everything and purchase elsewhere.

Bought some products and I had to carry loose things in my mu hands openly because the cashier said they didn't have any bags for a big business like that very bad otherwise from that I was looking for a plumbing supply call for help I waited almost 20 minutes no one came to my assistance

Blinds- the lady that set us up for a blind quote was great BUT that was it!
No Blind quote after measuring our windows last month, we are still waiting. No call so far and when we try calling, the operator keeps hanging up instead of transferring the call to the department.
Doors- this older guy had the worse attitude to the point my husband had to ask him to be more respectful to clients.
Garden - I (woman) went alone to get all sorts of heavy blocks, garden tiles, rocks, bricks etc... when i asked if someone could help me loading all of this to my car the response was..."hmmmmm good luck with that"....

This store is so frustrating....

DO NOT BUY YOUR APPLIANCES FROM HERE! we purchased a complete set from Bosch and spent more than $10,000. Every single appliance (washer, dryer, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, oven) that got delivered HAD DENTS! They accept the return for damaged goods but if you are on a schedule to finish your project, it is a nightmare. They work with 3rd party delivery guys who not only dent your appliances but also damage the house while carrying. We were tempted towards going with Yale instead of Lowe s but decided to go with Lowe s at the end since they waived the delivery fee but boy was I wrong! It s been a horrible experience...

Frustratingly difficult customer service. I purchased a stove with removal and they didn't call to set up an appointment and when I inquired I was told it would be delivered the day I called (without warning). Eventually the driver called (after waiting from 9:00 am until 3:00 PM) and stated he didn't know if his truck could make it into Cambridge and that I would have to reschedule. I called Lowes to reschedule but spent 5 minutes calling the internet desk before they disconnected me.

After the refrigerator arrived by xpo , lowes delivery company damaged , the delivery company dented it , then the next delivery also stove damaged by lowes delivery co - XPO-lowes staff and xpo not very easy to work with, frustrating ,- don't buy anything you need delivered !!!!
