No food, not tasty, fat, not enough. For a country cafe, portions could be three times as large. And they brought it as a tasting in a distinguished restaurant. The choice of food, snacks, desserts is also small, if you want to eat, you are not here. The beer selection is excellent, for every taste, everything is super. Shorter than the brewery.

We had a superb brewery tour and beer tasting here! Tours are available in English and Latvian and they are more than worth their cost, which is only 8 eur per person. Our guide Ieva was fun and knowledgeable and gave us good introduction to the beer making process. We bought some beer to take home and there's also a restaurant on site, but we didn't have time to try it out. Heard positive things about it though.
The young lady serving us was far from friendly, and strictly rejected our request to serve any 'simple' food for the 3 kids with us (we were 2 families). 'We have special menu unlike other restaurants,' we were told in a stern voice. It was clear we were not welcome in this place, so we left. It was quite disappointing as well as a surprise, as it was quite opposite to all of our earlier visits to this place. We always liked the place ...
Nice place to visit, excellent and different food. Very proud people producing high quality beer. Good and informative tour of brewery. Worth visiting for sure
Valmiermuizas alley kitchen. We stayed there on September 16, after more than half an hour, we were so delicately ordered "three houses more" than ever and nowhere so far. The first emotions are fixed, so I'll write it all in a row. Arriving in the Valmiermuizai Peak Cuisine for lunch, it was so sunny and warm at noon. 14:50 I went to the bar counter, wondering whether we would eat lunch and whether we would serve on the outside. To whom the barman kindly responded to choose a place and then bring the menu. I can not say that the pub would be crowded, but rather the other way round, in both rooms there were 12-15 visitors in total, moreover some were already preparing to finish the meal ... Did not go even 10 minutes when we had a menu on the table. At 15:10 the waiter received the order from us and we continued to wait for the good time that we could taste the famous Taste of Valmiermui as. So when we judge what the taste should be for one or the other, we see the smiling of our waiters, who approach us and solemnly announce at 15:25: "WELCOME, WE WILL NOT ALLOW FOR EARNING DIRECTIONS! But we had been commissioned, and the waitress accepted the order 15 minutes ago ..!? When asked why then, we got the answer that the kitchen was overloaded. Understanding that we do not want to drink cakes we are going to go away, and then the second "hint with a hammer" sounds - the waiter asked us somewhat even astonished to ask, "Will you then not drink anything?" I was so surprised and indignant at the situation that I just thanked for the kindness shown and went away. Did the staff of the pubis need about 35 minutes to understand and announce that today they do not stuff customers? Did the waiter, when accepting orders from us, could not find out in due time. And what do we do not accept food orders? Typically, when you arrive in a restaurant or tavern, employees warn you in advance that this time it will take longer to wait or we apologize for all the places that are currently occupied.
If you do not want to stay without a meal, then I suggest you look for another restaurant or pub!
A beer production museum has been created on the territory of the plant, inspection is possible only with a guide, in conclusion a tasting. There is a gift shop and a large restaurant.
It's terrific place to bring your foreign guests. Story telling is interesting and short excursion also. Would also advice to eat there because food is marvelous
Fantastic place for lunch and dinner, good little shop and the beer, let's not even go there. Even though, slightly higher priced than average LV beer, it is great and tastes good. Recommend!
Valmiermui a light - one of the best beers in Latvia! The brewery also has a wide range of home-made drinks + products from other manufacturers. There are souvenirs. It's nice that you can buy beer in different boxes of beer on Midsummer's Eve. In addition, vendors help to create the beer collection they want.
in summer it is worth attending concert evenings. in winter it is worth a visit to just buy a beer and some innovative snack. will not chew the chips already.
Mindblowing - closed on middsummer day. It is the same as to stop selling beer at Octoberfest. Disappointed people wawing hads in front of closed doors. Well this is embarasing....
A wonderful place, just magical. Delicious cuisine, in summer you can sit outside. If you are in Valmiera, or driving by, you should definitely stop by. On weekends, look in Google whether it is open or not, sometimes the restaurant is closed for a special service and then you can enjoy only beer and snacks, hot dishes will not be available.
