A beautiful setting awaited us at this hotel, the view around is superb and we had a great weekend. The comfort is in the appointment and the sleeping excellent ... A very good dinner and what to say of the absolutely perfect breakfast! Congratulations and thank you to the staff for their availability and kindness. Special dedication of Scorpions from 68 to Normandy

Very nice establishment. We were there for the restaurant. We ate very well. Small flat because the dessert served was incomplete: it lacked a scoop of ice cream .. and we found a metal twig in our vegetables. We had excuses, but no gesture on the bill .. too bad.

Former monastery transformed into a hotel restaurant Beautiful, calm and serene place close to any meal worthy of a great chef I recommend this magical place surrounded by vineyards and in the heart of St Hyppolyte.

Superb hotel with very spacious rooms and decent trays. The breakfasts are very complete especially with salmon. The restaurant is just fabulous with all-homemade food. It is also a resting place with a lot of activity possible: hiking, skiing, bike / electric bike, tennis, ping pong, billiard, table football and even a chapel! We kept a great memory of our seminar

I'm still looking for the 4 stars. Comfortable room, B&B type bathroom, mold and dirt in the shower. Spa far from being up to par, mold in the hammam. Cocktails at the uncontrolled bar. Very good breakfast.

Easy to find coming down the highway towards Switzerland (A35), spacious car park, perfect for a travelling family, excellent service!. Was travelling solo from Manchester to Bologna for business and I would definitely pay them another visit. Recommended!

I spent 3 days in the hotel and ... nothing to say the service, the cleanliness, the comfort, the menus of the restaurant, the room ... everything was perfect! I will keep a wonderful memory of my stay and hope to return soon.

We got married at the hotel Val-Vignes on July 13, 2019 and we will keep unforgettable memories. The hotel staff were friendly and warm, both to us, the bride and groom, and to our guests. From the welcome to the organization, from the kitchen to the service, everything was perfect. We take our hat off to the chef and his team, everything was delicious, tasty and perfectly sent to the dining room, beyond our expectations. The restaurant team did an exceptional job with a smile and the arrival of the dishes always well synchronized. Thank you to Emmanuelle for the organizational work before the wedding. We would also like to especially thank Kevin, the head of the dining room, and congratulate him for his investment before and during the wedding. He was on all fronts and managed everything like a boss! The success of our wedding evening is partly due to him. Bravo for his professionalism and his humor unfailing because very solicited by the host and the guests, his patience was put to the test but he held on :) We definitely recommend this place which enjoys a magnificent setting along the vineyards and at the foot of the castle.

Very nice establishment located next to vineyards. Friendly welcoming staff. Fairly large rooms. Very good bedding, very good restaurant. Located in the town of St Hippolyte that I highly recommend for a stay in its very typical hotels, full of charm.

Friendly and smiling receptionist. Large and clean room. Clean bathroom, spacious shower but the toilet is not separate, small downside. Restaurant, a bit long to take the order but then it goes well. The dish: scallops and excellent spelled risotto.

Immersed in the vineyards, this hotel is housed in a centuries-old building of religious origin which over the years has changed its connotations and functions several times. It is a place full of charm, very close to the Haut-K nigsbourg Castle, with a superb view and offers various services. The only drawback: the lack of air conditioning in the room, the heat on certain days is felt a lot even in these parts.

Passing through the vines with a GROUPON coupon, we wanted to thank all the staff of the establishment who contributed to the enchantment of our stay. A stay elsewhere that just needs to be renewed as soon as possible as we appreciate the calm of this place and the benefits with an anxious staff that the customer is king. only downside, the non functioning of the hammam .... good luck

Step in this wonderful Hostellerie! The comfort of the rooms, the friendly staff, the quality of the meals and breakfast. No complaints, we will come back. As a bonus, magnificent views at the foot of the vineyards and the Haut-Koeningsbourg castle

We were overall quite disappointed with this hotel. Pros: The location is nice with a nice view, and the building is beautiful, the staff are smiling, the rooms are relatively clean. But there is a big lack of rigor for a 4 *. On arrival, we were given a room under the roof knowing that the hotel does not have air conditioning, and with the current heatwave it was sweltering heat. Not wanting to bother the reception, we just thought about opening the window during the night but as we approached we saw a note indicating that it should not be touched, because it was broken. Already when I see that I do not understand that they continue to rent the room knowing the problem (obviously not new) ... In this case block the room and call a technician ... The window was therefore blocked by oscillating and swinging and we could not have opened it at night or closed it during the day to keep as little cool as possible ... I decided to ask for at least one fan which was quickly brought to me, the receptionist explains to me that normally there was 1 in each room and that it had been forgotten in ours ... Finally after reflection we asked to change rooms because even with a fan, the night would have been much too hard with this window impossible to open (still 25 degrees outside at night). The reception was comprehensive and gave us a nicer room but again for a 4 * the lack of air conditioning is really annoying. Despite using the fan we had to sleep with the window and shutter open so we were woken up by the light very early in the morning. For me, the biggest negative point is the control of the rooms, definitely to improve: forgetting of the usual fan in the 1st room, and in the second room one of our bedside lamps was not working as well as one of the sockets next to it bed. For a 4 * it's a shame to run into stupid things like these. I work in a "only" 3 * and before each new customer we systematically test the sockets, lamps, TV, etc ... Without being perfect, it's still the minimum. The restaurant was good and so was the breakfast. We hope that these remarks will be taken into account because it is a beautiful establishment and it would benefit from seeing more care given to details.

A 4 stars hotel without air conditioning, a really bad point in the summer. Instead, there is an old fan in the room. When told the receptionist our room was a sauna, the answer was: you can open the window, lol. Also, found an empty medication vial on the floor and sweet papers under the bed on arrival. Once again, told the receptionist who answered: what kind of medication? lol again. Nobody came to clean up, during our 3-day stay! Definitely not a 4-star service. Apart from that, great place if you have a dog, for the place is surrounded by vineyards. The staff kindly left bowls for the dogs with treats except one of the bowl was filthy. Never got the chance to eat at the hotel, always fully booked. Moreover, there is no menu for kids. However, the last day, a small plush stalk was left on the kid's bed, which I found was a nice attention. Last point, make sure there is no wedding party during your stay, for the staff has no control of drunkards making noise at 2 or 3am.

Hotel very nice, comfort cleanliness nothing to complain about, just a change of the evacuation of the shower; dishes and restaurant service of high quality; hearty breakfast justifying the price; finally very friendly staff, smiling and attentive to the client (very important); we had a pleasant stay and recommend this property

Ring the matins! Comfortable hotel, spacious and quiet rooms. Average breakfast (considering the price). The only big flaw is the proximity to the church steeple. At 6am, then every 1/4 hour, the little family did not appreciate. Goodbye sleepy!

We did not stay there but came from the outside diner. The meal chosen yet a month in advance, because for 14 people impossible to eat a la carte ..... was more than any ... frozen snail leaf or you had to look for snails .... then medallion stringy calf and overcooked ... and so on .... toilet smelling urine ... in short go your way and do not stop it's not worth the cost ... or we are badly fallen ???

The two of us were in the hotel. The beds were very hard and at 7 o'clock there are very loud bells that wake you up. Would have been nice if we knew that. In addition, we settled and suddenly we had to pay a lot more. This has finally been arranged. The staff were very friendly! They helped you with everything and always looked for a solution !!

A very clean hotel with a nice sauna and hammam area. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. It always responds to the wishes of the guests and advises them on possible activities that make the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast is rich and varied. We would book this hotel again at any time.
