Food was great! Went for an event with my work and service and food we're both great!

Food was delicious! All four of us were very happy with our meals. Very good service as well.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. Excellent food and service. We especially like the seafood dishes and the salad they serve with the meal is delicious and fresh, their house Italian is good too! Val is super friendly and she makes her rounds to every table to make sure the meal and service is exceptional. I like the team atmosphere as well; the waitstaff help each other out and that is something you don't see at other restaurants. We look forward to our next dining experience.

Ok. Had veal parm. Wouldn't go out of my way to go back there

Just had lunch at Vals for perhaps my 100th time. Never had a bad meal/experience there. Need I say more?

I love Italian food but since becoming allergic to gluten and only eating fish finding a nice place has been nearly impossible..

Until discovering Val's has gluten free pasta..

I've been thrilled between the all you can eat salad and wonderful house dressing and gluten free scampi...

I love their food! Their staff is very friendly, and not to mention, Val is very friendly! They have amazing salmon, and almost anything you want there. All I can say is 5 stars.

This was a great break from the black Friday madness excellent atmosphere great service good food but the best part was not much money . What a great value.

There is a standing menu for lunch ( until 3:45 pm ) and dinner plus a daily page of very creative choices. I enjoy the full course baked haddock dinner and my husband loves the full course steak tips from the "Favorites" section. I feel like in eating in my Gram's kitchen , especially when having Mama's Spinach Pie and salad with homemade house dressing. This dressing is available for sale also.

A very Nice experience, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a night out, and the fireplace in the lounge is a plus.

Great food, Val came to the table to check on the quality and service

We ve been going to Val s Restaurant for years. The food and service have always been great. So, when it came time to host my niece s Sweet Sixteen, we booked their beautiful function room. From the food to the service to the overall expertise Val offered - we were impressed! Val and her team made my niece s night special and memorable. I highly recommend Val s Restaurant for dinner or for your next function. You will not be disappointed!

Excellent Lamb Pita, great service and excellent atmosphere!

Way too bland and salty at the same time. How do they do that? Lol stayed away for 3 years and just went back a couple weeks ago. Still not worth the money. Just so so food.

The buffet food was delicious for our club's special event. It was served nicely by smiling servers which was very nice.

Had the veal parmesan excellent tender and delicious also very cozy place was very nice by the warm fire while I enjoyed my meal nice atmosphere and the help was great also

We were able to linger and enjoy a casual, delicious lunch. Lamb pita was perfectly cooked. Loved it!

Visiting family for the holidays stop at one of our favorite places, Val's always a great place to get a good meal, and they didn't disappoint again great meal good time great service you'll never go wrong here

There is some good stuff to be had here. It is always packed. Think it is a bit over priced.

Best spot around Holden to eat some sea food and remarkable dressing. Had baked haddock and my friend had baked nutty salmon, hmmmm it was heavenly. Their welcome lemonade n biscuit got me salivating. You def have to try it ASAP.

We had a party at Val's tonight with 77 people and Val and her staff were absolutely wonderful.

Food and service are great. Have never been disappointed

A great dining establisment for lunch or dinner. The lounge has a small bar and warm fireplace for those cold days. The dining areas are nice and offer booths or tables. The staff is friendly and prompt. After dining here several time I have not had a bad meal. Portions are more than adequate as most restaurants are these days.

I like this place but all the the times I went there I found it busy which mean they do it right

We have been to Vals multiple times and have always been very pleased. We went on Friday night. Service as always was very good but I must say that the four of us ordered all different meals and have found that while the prices have gone up which we all understood but the portions have gotten much smaller. We did not feel that the price was equal to the portions. I don t feel that we will be back anytime too soon. Sorry to say.

Fairly regular customer at Vals. Very disappointed. Fries were so hard they were not edible. We complained to the maitre' d and all we got was an I'm sorry. On leaving, I told him we wouldn't be returning. At that pt. he said he would see what he could do. We left. Wasn't going to wait for a second response. In my opinion the $45. bill for dinner for two should have been adjusted before handing it to us.

Another delicious meal that didn't disappoint. Salad dressing is the best anywhere. Our waitress was excellent.

Amazing, a must visit! Dress from jeans to ball gowns! Everybody we have referred to Val's raves and cannot wait to go back! Absolutely the best!

Val's is a mediocre restaurant that thinks it's a fancy country club but misses the mark. The food is decent but not nearly worth the prices they charge. The last time I ate here, there was an awful rotten smell looming around. The table had not been wiped down from the prior customers. I had a reuben sandwich which wasn't terrible but the proportions were all wrong. The decor feels like they're trying too hard to be fancy. The bathroom and hallway were cluttered with fake plants and tchotchkes, had offensive smelling soap and lots of stained ceiling tiles. It's not totally terrible but I always leave feeling like I got ripped off.

Great food, reasonably priced and good service! How do you beat that?

Had an awesome early dinner here. Scallops and shrimp and haddock over mashed potatoes with broccoli I. Salad before dinner was crisp and fresh will definitely be back for more!

A lot of people love this place, I'd call it "OK". The food and atmosphere seems just a little bit like the cafeteria at a nursing home.

My first restaurant to rate without hesitation. The "Carbonara" is the best I have eaten in any restaurant in the past 5 years. The service is superb and surely above 5 star! Don't be told....Go and see for yourself, and you let me know!

Food is great. Prices are reasonable. Service is fantastic.

Best place in town. And for the price you will not beat the make mix and match pasta portion of the menu.

Excellent food and superb service, only downside is they are only open Wednesday to Sunday.

We LOVE going to Val's !! From the minute you walk in it's a combination of a great vacation & coming home. The staff is top notch, the choice of food items are overwhelming , & whatever you pick will always be delicious. Italian,Greek ,American,&even a dash of Chinese fare. Surf or turf the choices will have you doing an eenie meenie,miney, moe but don't worry no losers at Val's. Dress up or go casual you're in for a good time. Val's also has a function room just in case you're planning a wedding or party and the catering is also 1st class. Enjoy!

Great place for lunch, I come with my grandfather almost every Saturday for a few years now. Good lunch specials (price wise and quality wise) and the servers are always friendly.

But the best thing about this place is the house Italian dressing. I would take shots of this dressing and feel no shame. It is hands down the best house Italian dressing in the state of Massachusetts.

Typical New England service which in my opinion I could do without. Food is decent but overpriced. Since the town has little choices in fine dining this is usually filled with locals. It is the standard fancy NJ diner if you want a comparison.

I have not been here for awhile beautiful renovations since I have been .I orderd take out . It was great sandwiches. Have always been pleased with food here.I recommend it.Its great for family friends or even a nice date .Wide range of foods

Huge selection and variety of choices. Value is always onsite. Top notch, high quality food and service.

This was the first time at Vals Restaurant. It had been highly recommended by 2 different people.

I had the best spinach pie I've ever tasted....and I get it every time I can. It was not too salty. Also ordered were the chicken quesadilla and the mushroom goat cheese quiche. All delicious! The only small disappointment was the small cup for coffee.

This is a restaurant I will definitely return to. THANKS. VAL
