Great place to bring a family to ski. We came very late in the ski season and NEVER waited for a lift.
Great place to bring a family to ski. We came very late in the ski season and NEVER waited for a lift.
Loved the ice skating-huge areafor beginners. Staff great.
My favorite resort personally, excellent service from the staff, perfectly groomed runs, good food at the mountain houses, and hard to forget the beautiful scenery!
Nice ski resort. Like most of others over priced no place for the unrich in Colorado
Love it...snow is good, night riding is great, service is good. Upgrades to parking are decent.
Keystone is great, and it keeps getting better. i love that they have a Gondola that goes up one of the main runs. Also, their base area keeps expanding, and it's great. We're mostly a Breckenridge family, but Keystone is very much a premium resort as well.
A great place to ski with a wide range of terrain for all levels of skiers. The ski school here is great for those who need it with excellent coaches.
Customer service is not what it used to be. Super expensive.
Super busy on the weekends, over priced to go on the Gondola!
Lots of long runs, activities for kids, gondolas and night skiing.
Keystone is a great resort! Generally speaking, it's my go-to. Very well-engineered for crowd management and mountain movement. You rarely have to wait in a line at the main base areas and people disperse quickly. The Windows and Outback bowls are exceptional, easy-to-access terrain.
Love the parking situation. Unless it's a holiday or weekend, can almost always find parking at River Run (free, at-base). The couple of times I've needed to use the shuttle lot, the buses come frequently.
Typical, Vail on-mountain dining (read: mediocre and overpriced). Staff is friendly.
While I imagine the night-skiing isn't exactly a money-maker for Vail, it would really be great if they offered it on most nights, or even a slightly extended (perhaps 6p) stop time. It's very frustrating to expect to get a few extra runs in only to find night skiing isn't operating. Check the schedule on their website before planning to ski past 4p.
Family and I decided to visit keys stone for a few days to finish off our vacation. We pre purchased our lift tickets and rentals a few days before so we could enjoy night skiing sunday the 1st and 2 full days before we left colorado. When we went to pick up the lift tickets the ticket office claimed they had no record of the purchase. Went to the rental for our gear and they DID have our updated reservations. Decided to go back to our room and call the reservation desk. The first guy that answered AFTER being on hold for over 40mins Jack (he was wonderful BTW we like Jack) was able to see that we were charged for tickets and rentals but they werent coming up because of some computer issue with 72 hrs windows unfortunately he couldn't do much as most of the stuff was closed and 5pm on a sunday. Now weve been on hold in our room this morning trying to get it sorted. We were told by an answering machine to leave an EMAIL? we have missed night skiing and missing the fresh snow this morning. Unacceptable, will not be returning.
I put 10 hrs in & watched the fireworks Saturday. Only place that offers night riding, excellent!!
Keystone has some of the most incredible terrain in all of Colorado but for some reason is a bit under rated. Very family friendly with great amenities and lodges.
Definitely a fun mountain and the best one for night skiing. Lifties are always nice, even though the employees in the shops tend to constantly be in a horrible mood. A51(their terrain park) is designed very thoughtfully allowing there to be a nice flow and filter for people of all skill levels.
Had not skied here in years. Had a great day. Not much waiting so I got a lot of runs in. Nice long runs that are well groomed.
I think Keystone maybe one of my favorite places to ski. The wagons they provide make toting around all of our ski equipment for our family very easy. I like also like theie storage basket rental. The Mountain House restrooms and facility are very clean and not overcrowded. My one complaint is that the lac of dining options and they have the most expensive mountain prices in the mountains.
It was off season so almost everything was closed and town is about 9 miles away.
Getting older, but a nice place and helpful staff.
Not much snow, so they had many runs closed.
Some connecting runs weren't open but they were making extra snow on already open runs.it seemed illogical.
We visited on 8th Nov 2020 . . .They got all kind of Gondolas and ski services as well . . . We were 3 adulta and 1 infant and we got the enclosed Gondola ride for 114.00 . . . Recommended
What s could I say that hasn t already been said ... ELEVATION 12,200 ...
One of our favorite Mountains. Super family friendly. Lots to do in Keystone Village also
Thoroughly Enjoyed the downhill Mt. Bike Trails on the slopes!!!
I love that it isn't overcrowded and everyone is so friendly.
Great variety of terrain, beautiful mountain close to Denver
Night skiing at Keystone is a great place to have fun after the sun goes down.
Excellent place to ski. River Run village is great, everything well thought out and close to where you are staying. Keystone has 235" of snow a year and many trails are lit for night skiing.
Fantastic views, great place to stay. Just be wary of traffic.
Awesome mountain!! Free parking. Car to slopes super easy. The village is also a great place to get food and drinks after a day on the slopes...and to avoid traffic.
Nothing to complain. Wish they open lift next to Gondola even for Night skiing
Keystone is a diverse mountain. You can find the experience you want, from beginner to seasoned expert.
The food was really good and came out fast...however, the sausage wasnt cooked very well and charging $3.00 for real maple syrup that comes in a little ramacan was a bit much...
Amazing resort terrific friendly staff. You can never go wrong with any of the Vail resort locations.
Friday night is the night for here! Free lift up the mountain live music in the clouds, you could see several mountain tops and they had drinks and food. We ate there and as we waited they had a seating area with games a nice outside game area for you and your pets and kids lol. Remember to dress warm.
This is an amazing place to teach a gf how to ride! Schoolmarm or bust. I love it bc she can ride beginner terrain, while i ride the more advanced terrain, AT THE SAMR TIME ON THE SAME RUN!! She stays on the groomers, i hop in and out of the trees next to her. Shes happy i stay with her, im happy im not "stuck on the groomers"
great area however i feel like their patrol team, is not great they are un fair and are not professional. i love the skii area not the staff
Everything is better at Keystone - WAY less crowded than Breck, less pricey and less pretentious than Vail. Awesome Summer special events, and a very Family-friendly environment - Keystone Rocks !
Great terrain - more apt for intermediate to skilled riders. Lift tickets are expensive but better than other Vail resorts...
Best local town, food, craft beer, snowboarding & all around bad-ass time.
I come here every week or so with my boyfriend .We love it and I want to give a shout out to the parking attendant at the goldbug lot .every time we pay to park I'm so impressed with how friendly this guy is, even if it is a super busy day. He's out there smiling, parking us and others in creative spots and just generally a big help running around doing the job of 2 people. Hope he sees this!
Fun mountain with something for everyone. Great for families and beginners as well as intermediate and experts. Beginner to pro level terrain parks, good mix of run difficulties, and 3 peaks to ski. There are great backbowls that are pretty easy to access by small hike or you can pay to ride snowcat to really get out there deep. Also, night skiing and fireworks shows are a great bonus. As a pretty advanced skier, this is not my #1 mountain choice on front range, but i still love coming back and always have a great time!
Great bunny hill for beginners. Super expensive tickets, food, parking, etc. They are really putting skiing/riding out of reach for the average American
First time there and had a good time. Lots of places to drink and eat and the slope was fun for a first timer. People and staff were courteous.
Beautiful scenery but didn't think someone would steal from me there...I was wrong. People steal at Keystone as well. Sad
I consider this my home mountain even though I live out east. It's where I really learned to ride and my year isn't complete without taking a trip here. In my experience this and A-basin are the best kept secret in Vail resorts. Well I guess it's not really a secret. Keystone boasts long groomed runs, as well as challenging backcountry trails, the best park and a quaint but not too busy village. The night riding is clutch especially for a east coast person like me whose home mountain is open till 9. Food offerings are varied and all great and EVERYONE is friendly.
Good all around resort. Great place to teach people. The learning hill is away from the main slope which makes it free of speedsters and it has a really gradual slope.
Awesome night skiing, the run just keeps going and going.
Worst mountain in Colorado - from subpar snow to lazy, uncaring ski patrol, and rude employees, on top of way overpriced lift tickets, you re better off going to literally any other mountain in the state, this resort has always had a bad reputation and completely deserve it.
First time ever skiing and I'm glad we chose here. Although we didnt really "ski" we had a blast. There are many lifts. Even the newbie area is at the top of the mountain so you feel "in the mix". Everything is available from equipment to dining. When doing new things you can easily get a bad taste in your mouth, well this place is caviar! Get there early to enjoy everything. Night skiing is such a beautiful sight. We will be back and bringing the entire family. This is something everyone must see and experience at least once.
First visit to Keystone! Lovely resort. Free, easy to access parking at base of mountain. Affordable rentals of skis, poles, boots @ ~ $55 for the day. Cheerful attendants to fit us for boots and skis. Friendly folks at the Ticket counter to print out our EPIC passes. Gondola ride up the mountain for our entire group of 6. Immediate response of ski patrol after hubs wiped out, injured his leg and bonked his head. Delicious, relaxing lunch at ZUMA with excellent cocktails and service by Noah. Lots of clean restrooms around the village.
Love skiing keystone. Great blues of the front and love the back too. We were her this past summer as well. If you're in decent shape, climb the mountain. We went straight up the front. Too 2.5 hours. 2 thousand + elevation change.
Had a great day skiing. Lots of groomed runs and great friendly people!
Sorry I can't help you here.. not a fan of Fail Resorts.
Great ski Mountain for all levels and double black, double black groomer runs almost matching Bird's of Pray. Also have some (EX) and tree runs, just Send It. Reaching above the "tree line" elevation and killer views. Parking is simple with provided (free) bus shuttle. Although, get there early....
Great place to ski, plenty of slopes and the snow quality is great. I wish the lifts for the harder slopes would close later, as we didn't get a chance to get to The Outback before it closed. Also wish there would be more night skiing runs open(there's only about 9).
Long runs high speed quad lifts. Must do a run down Starfire. Groomed black!
Love the mountain, but please. For the love of God, please figure out the traffic and merging into the River Run lot.
Great ski area for all skill levels. Lots of good terrain for beginners learning how to ski. Always very crowded though
Worst experience ever. They sold up passes and equipment over sold the reservations leaving our family with rentals and passes worh 1700.00 and no skiing.
Looking at branching out from my local resorts now that I got my passport. Loved the look of keystone but after watching Johnathan buckhouses experience and reading others experiences with your power tripping yellow jackets I'll stay as far away from giving money to your resorts as possible!!
The views at Keystone are amazing. The lift operators and ski patrol are helpful if you have any questions or concerns.
this is by far the best ski resort in co! i love this place and will be back soon!
