Bad investment if you're thinking of buying in this resort. The HOA board has lacked direction. There is a constant turnover of management companies, landscape companies, and management onsite people. The real estate office is a joke. Originally the resort was beautiful and well run. It's like any RV park, after time it continues to go downhill. Very sad for the people who invested good money and are ending up dumping their lots for half price.

Easily the nicest rv resort we have been to in the last 30 years. Pickleball, golf, tennis, restaurant, lots of activities, VERY FRIENDLY people. Amazing views with tons of water, grass, palm trees, mountains. Worth the extra cost of staying in a typical park with lots of noise from the highway and staying on a gravel lot.

It is a beautiful place. I have friends that winter here, spaces are purchased not rented. The people are great, lots of ammenities, grounds are beautiful. Small 3 par golf, lots of water, fou tains and flowers everywhere. Empty in the summer.

I have no idea why people are making negative comments about this resort. It is quite nice. residents are extremely friendly, the office staff is very helpful and it is truly a wonderful place to stay. Lots and lots of activities. Movie night with free popcorn and current movie showing is really fun. There is no preference or special hours for residents or renters... everyone is allowed access to facilities equally. The restaurant is small but nice and the food is good. The golf course is well kept and is a great back drop with ponds and fountains from your coach. Yes there are some lots that are not improved other than a pad.. but no place is perfect. As in the general population you will have people you like and people you don't.

I have traveled all the US states and most of Canada and this is truely the Ultimate Motor Coach Resort. The 10-10-10 from Good Sam RV travel guide, 5 stars from Woodalls and a featured resort from Big Rigs says it all. In addition to the luxurious excellence of the resort, is the people that live and play here. More than a resort this is a community where one can make life long friends. It is truely the Ultimate in mortorcoach living. If you enjoy beauty and great people this is the place.

Just purchased a lot here. We went for the New Years weekend celebration, we were treated so kindly by everyone we came across we decided to check into some lots. We narrowed it down to 2 lots that would need some work and we went to the office to inquire about contractors to get some pricing. Gordon asked us if we had looked at a particular lot after we explained what we were looking for, once we saw this lot it was over. It was turn key and beautiful.
Our coach will fit just fine and it has a spectacular view. It's late in the season and for the most part we are booked so it will go into the rental pool for most of the balance of the season but watch out next season. We'll be pickleballing for sure. One thing that I will work on is they have a great area that easily could house several Bocce Ball courts and would give yet another fun past time that you can do while enjoying a beverage.
Cannot wait to head back after close of escrow sit on our lot and enjoy our views.
The people are so damn nice it was an easy decision.
Hope to see you guys there. Swing by 318 if you have some time.

we were only able to stay at ORI for one week, what beautiful place. Everyone was so nice and there were so many things to do. Outdoor Indio Resorts had multiple pools, hot tubs, golf course, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and a clubhouse with workout facility and they were all maintained so nicely. It's location was great-easy freeway access, close to shopping and restaurants, while it stayed quiet and calm inside the grounds. We will be going back for a longer stay and looking for a lot to buy. I talked with multiple owners at the resort and they all agreed that the changes that have taken place with the landscape company, board of owners and the real estate company have all been good changes.

Great spot for RV class A coaches with on site golf, pools, tennis etc. Dog Friendly. Close to wonderful restaurants, shopping, hiking and more golf. Old town La Quinta is a must stop as well as a visit to the gardens at the nearby Polo grounds.

Great place for R & R after a cross-country trip that was necessary for serious, not fun, purposes. After managing healthcare and financial issues of a critically ill parent, we got to relax at Outdoor Resort! Loved & enjoyed the beautiful lot we were on and the well-maintained amenities! The landscape, golf course (Par 3), swimming pools, work-out facility were all great (!) - beautiful, well-maintained, clean, neat, etc.
The people were all helpful, polite and cared about our happiness. We hope to be back!
Thank you all! SL

I have a friend who lives here and I visited for 3 days. It is awesome. The clubhouse, pool and sauna are clean and well maintained. I don t golf myself, but my friend does and enjoys the course immensely.

We came for a week and stayed a month. Been RVing for 40 years. This is the nicest place we have ever stayed. We stayed one season across the street a few years back, but since our Country Coach didn't cost a million $$, they all kind of looked at us as second class. Not at ORI, we have been welcome with open arms and invited to many different events. FUN PLACE!!!!

Very quiet. Nice golf courses, but it has giant walls around that block any views of the sunset. Park staff are extremely attentive, sometimes to the point of annoyance. This is an upscale RV park, not a hotel.

They don't allow my mechanic in the gate asking outrageous stuff to come in. my mechanic has a shop in Indio business license, registered with the b.a.r , and has insurance coverage still did not let him in new management going to another RV park cause I trust 1 person working on my rv I don't like they get to choose who works on my rv ..

I was very impressed at how clean the resort was. The park is very well maintained and secure. Beautiful flowers and waterfalls everywhere. All the neighbors are friendly and the staff is very professional. Interestingly enough, the park includes an upscale bistro, which is perfect for brunch or even a date night.
