Great place to vacation. Wide variety of skiing options.
Great place. Top Notch. I was born in this area and haven't been back and 41 years still as gorgeous as it always was according to my parents anyway :) Staff is great very accommodating, rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean, staff is friendly, neighbors were awesome and just all around great views. When I go to the mountains I spend most of my time in Vermont and New Hampshire since i live close, but what I will say is Breckenridge's very very gorgeous thanks for the great stay so far, we're excited about the rest of our week.
This is the best resort I ve ever been too in my long 19 years of living on this round ball, loved it
Great slopes but pretty lots of people during spring break.
Great resort but the lodges are old and need an upgrade and the lines are crazy! So the size of the mountain line management really should be more of a focus.
The best place this far that I've been snowboarding in Colorado. The slopes are wide and long great for beginners, and plenty of more advance trails for those more experienced
With five peaks and the highest chair lift in North America, there is a huge amount of skiing. If you have sufficient ability, it's hard to imagine how long it would take to ski all the possibilities. Even with intermediate skill, there is a ton of options.
Lots of good intermediate runs. Can be cold and windy on the lifts.
Incredible place to ski in snow, if you want to learn this is the place, the slopes are very wide and the landscapes are beautiful.
We love the beautiful mountains in Breckenridge. We have not gone in the winter, only summer and fall. Both of those seasons are fantastic. There is always an adventure waiting. Whether one likes hiking, biking, shopping, eating, imbibing, fishing, paddle boarding, sailing or just the unlimited fresh mountain air this is a wonderful place to be.
This is a extremely large ski area accommodating skiers of all skill levels. Expect large crowds, but they get lighter as you move up the mountain. Lots of free transportation to the slopes from the many parking areas. It seems there should be some considerations for upgrading the parking lots. It's hard to determine the parking spaces and larger vehicles extend into the driving area. Lots seem to fill up fast. One bright spots is the lots have self pay stations for parking on the lots. These stations have a PassportParking app that makes it easy to pay for parking on your phone. This is a large mountain and can be overwhelming, but locals often save the day sharing inside information. Recommended.
Great service and located next to some great hiking and biking trails. Jordan has been an excellent point of contact for us at the hotel.
Extremely expensive lift ticket $186. Very confusing trails, ended up at the wrong base and had to take bus to get to our starting point.
One of the biggest mountains I've ever shredded. I would come back to Colorado just for this mountain.
It's definitely a good resort/town. There's a little bit for everybody, not to mention good skiing. The weekends can get a little too crowded with people. But they do a good job considering 100,000 people all in an area about 10 square miles
Its so beautiful, fun family environment. If you need childcare book the Day Care facility early, they fill up so fast. We waited to late and they were full during our Christmas trip. But we met 2 of tge day care employees and they were so nice, we will definitely be back and will book child care early. We rented our gear from Christy's in the village area and they were all very nice (well everyone but the female manager she has a pretty condescending attitude, I'm glad she was not our first point of contact).
Not an excellent skier nor somebody who's happy to throw a lot of money. For me, this was expensive, crowded and just not fun enough. Pros- the view and the amenities are excellent.
This is a wonderful place to ski but very expensive as well. Lots of resorts in the area and good places to eat. You can take the tram up to the bottom of the lifts for lunch at no charge
One of the better ski hills around. Gondola in town for easy access. Lots and lots of varied terrain. Tons of lifts. Highest resort in North America so it's cold but the snow stays fresh. Very good signage and plentiful, friendly staff. If you can't find runs you love, you're not looking.
Breckenridge is so famous that it doesn't need anyone's endorsement. And sure: the skiing is amazing. But given that the lift tickets are the second most expensive in the US (only Vail costs more), and that all the lodging and dining have equally obscene prices, it's hard to justify coming here. Keystone (just a few miles away) is equally good but more reasonable, and Arapahoe Basin (equally close) is nearly half as expensive. My recommendation: stay in Frisco, visit Breckenridge once so you can say that you've been there, but spend most of your time at Keystone or A-Basin.
There is a parking issue at Breckenridge. Do not come new years day. Drove around for over an hour. Every street and every lot was full.
Really great skiing. Not too crowded during the week but even if it does there's a lot of terrain to go around.
Breckenridge Colorado mountain scenery can be compared to Olympic National Park in Washington State. Very comfortable temperature during the summer. Frequent light evening showers and almost a rainforest feel to the wooded/forest areas. Lots of wild flowers growing on the trail side. Overall a very beautiful place to visit and escape the heat during summer months.
Beautiful mountains , great green trails , unique town .
Good hike up terrain above Mercury Express chair, also enjoy runs off of Imperial lift
Nice resort. Lots of fun trails. Didn't like the fact that everything is closing at 4pm. It's more of a family resort.
Good service and great views! The resort is growing daily and the staff does a great job.
Best spot to snowboard go on a week day to avoid large groups.
when it gets busier they rise up the prices, bad experience
We stayed at Mountain Thunder. It was a wonderful experience. Loved the shuttle that took us to town and picked us up. An on-call free shuttle, it was awesome.
Went in the summer and took advantage of all the resort had to offer. Worth parking in town and taking the free (!) gondola to the ski resort.
Very good tracks. Snow quality Fast lifting means without waiting for good bars and rest. Food with adequate prices
Cozy town, great restaurants and wide variety of trails for all skill levels. You can't get bored here with 5 peaks, excellent tree runs and the highest chair lift in North America.
My favorite ski town. Cozy with great food and drinks. You can ski any level and challenge yourself in some of the bowls. Staff is very courteous and nice.
It s not Vail or Aspen, but still pretty great! Could use a few more restaurants that are less business oriented... sometimes you feel like you are just on a conveyor belt for spending money...
Breckenridge is unique because it has several peaks, which makes traversing across the resort a bit of a challenge. Most runs are mellow blues, with some expert terrain on top of tbar and imperrial chair. There is a mountain town at the base providing plenty of food and entertainment options.
Excellent conditions, a bit crowded than other nearby resorts but worth the price.
A great resort with a variety of runs for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Just find the peak with the type of runs you prefer and have a blast all day. Lifts are usually short ride times, and the mountains are easy to navigate in order top explore the resort.
My favorite resort in Colorado. Peak six is awesome above treeline skiing.
Very cool place to ski! Most beautiful place in the winter.
5 peaks to offer a wide variety of terrain for whatever you're looking for
Beautiful views, Great food and tons of things to do. The mountain views are incredible. So many places to eat and all the food is great. Never had trouble finding something to do with all the hiking trails, biking and shopping
Fantastic experience! I ve snowboarded in Los Alamos, NM; Flagstaff, AZ; and Greer, AZ...nothing compares to Breckenridge. There s tons of trails for any skill type and the snow in Summit County is pretty nice. The lines for the lift do get long towards the bottom and parking is hard to come by if you re not there early. Expect to pay for parking and riding the gondola up to the base. Though I d say it s definitely worth the time and money!
Didn't stay here or ski bc we got there on the last day of the season. But we sled down the mountain and it was fun. My niece liked it. And it was pretty.we are thinking about going up and staying there next time.
What can you say, one of the best places to ski in the world .
Really busy sometimes, but fun. Can pretty much ski the entire resort at a leisurely pace in just a few days. Do the TBar!
Great spot to shred pow! Great runs and excellent customer service. All areas of the resort are well-staffed and well organized. Lift lines move smoothly for the most part. easy access to different types of terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Ski school is also available for skiers and snowboarders of all ages. They accommodated our need to enter children into ski school with minimal notice. free shuttles everywhere but ski in ski out is definitely the way to go to maximize your experience at this great resort!
Great ski resort. The ski school has great instructors. They are very energetic and patient. Our kids loved it. They pay close attention and help them work on that is needed. There are lots of trails. It's home of the highest lift in North America. There are lots of great food choices in town.
It was a little pricey for our daytrip. But when it rained right at lunchtime we got rain passes.
Great runs. Good food and atmosphere. Check out the slalam race course.
Fantastic ski resort and great slopes. The town is a blast and it's only 45 min outside of Denver. If you're going to ski in the rockies I highly recommend Breck.
Great all around, great mountain, good instructors, great staff, but everything is so overpriced and expensive....huge bummer...otherwise place is awesome
