I know a ton of people who love to ski Breck. Maybe it s great for advanced skiers. But, I ve been twice and feel that it is not a good place for families with beginner skiers/boarders: beginner areas are VERY crowded with a lot of fast skiers whizzing by. Long lift lines are made worse because ski school people get to cut in line.

I've lived in Breckenridge for close to 10 yesrs now, and I can honestly say I'm ready for a change. Prices for housing have sky rocketed, and for most it is very hard to afford living here. This is a very popular destination for Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Minnesota folk. If it snows more than 3 inches, expect the mountain to be very crowded. To sum it up, it's a world class destination for beginners.

My absolute favorite spot to come snowboard. Lately it's becoming more touristy and packed than ever but I still love the amount of peaks, runs, and terrains that it consists of! As an Epic Pass holder this is the main resort that I come to! Definitely recommend!

As a ski resort and conditions for skiing were awesome. Restaurants are expensive and mostly crowded but food was fresh and well prepared. Depending on the day of the week slopes might get crowded and wait time is long. Great vacation view from the top.

Wife took first time lessons. And let's just say I should have done the lesson myself..the instuctor was not attentive to the classes needs. By the end of the session he had lost 4 of the 6 people in the group. The mountain itself was nice

Breckenridge is a great place for all level of skiers! The terrain is spread out so lift lines are generally not too busy - unless it's a holiday weekend or it snowed a lot. There are a lot of amenities including onsite childcare, ski school, restaurants, bars & much more! The staff are consistently friendly & very helpful. The only drawback is it is expensive. If you plan on skiing 4 or more days I'd buy a season pass - they are cheapest when bought in April for the upcoming ski season.

Breckenridge is the most expensive ski resort in the area. But if you know where you're doing, it's worth it. It has a very wide selection of trails, which is good for families and especially for groups of people who are all ok different levels. However, that does make it so if you know you want, other things just get in the way. But it definitely is one of the best resorts in Colorado. In May 2019, there's was powder day, which is just insane.

Being a novice skiier, it was a bit too crowded. Try to skip Saturdays if you're likely to get overwhelmed. Other than that and the hefty lift pass fee, it was a beautiful and well-run resort.

Ugh, where to start? Breck has got the most interesting, challenging, & diverse terrain of any of the resorts close to Denver. They do an excellent job of maintaining the facilities. But, the place is a logistical nightmare. The gondola to the parking lot in town has helped a lot, but there are still many problems. Start early & with a solid plan for your day. Otherwise you are going to spend your day traversing & waiting in long long lines. I love skiing here, but will not go on a weekend or holiday - it is just insane even getting to the place, not to mention even getting onto the slopes.

Amazingly helpful staff! The employees are very nice and interact with everyone and produces a welcoming feeling! Staff was patient and very focused and friendly with their job. They treated my family like we are all equal people living our own lives and not like they are just someone who just works there! The food was great and there was so much to do! Everything is organized and clean and safe! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves skiing or just someone looking for a beautiful place to stay! It is so much more enjoyable out in Breckinridge rather than a city! There s more wildlife to see and everyone is super friendly!

Simply the best, tons of runs lines are usually very quick. This mountain has a lot of great areas to learn on, lots of greenish blues and bluish nlacks if you sre trying to make the transition to more advaced stuff. Food and drink on the mountain is pricey but not shockingly so. Refillable beverages is a nice touch

Breckenridge is one of the absolute best ski towns in the US. Folks come from all over the world to not only head down the slopes but also for the food and atmosphere of this awesome place. If you like Aspen, I wouldn't suggest coming to Breck. It's more like a Colorado Locals town and that's one of the reasons it's so darn great. Very close to Keystone and A-Basin too!

Great ski resort! Lots of hidden spots to find powder stashes. Terrain of all types is available to suit any skill level.

What impressed me about Breckenridge is the ease with which you can travel around the mountain. Good traverse routes and fast lifts make getting from peak 6 to peak 10 a breeze.

Food on the mountain is iffy though. If you have to, Vista Haus is the best value. Otherwise check out Robbie's tavern at the base of Peak 8.

The facilities were in good working order and clean.

I'm definitely coming back!

Breck has some good terrain, but there are significantly better mountains/resorts in the state. Parking is always a hassle here; you either have to pay or park out yonder on Airport road and take a shuttle to the gondola... then the gondola to the lift... then after the lift ride, you are finally ready for your first run. First world problems, I know!
