Amazing tropical and temperate houses, a joy to visit. The smell of the tropical house is wonderful, as are the plants and butterflies. Anyone who thinks otherwise just has no soul. And it's free!! Awesome. Thanks Aarhus.

Even better than the one in Copenhagen. So beautiful! And they had very nice educational activities too when I was there.

Really well maintained botanical garden with a nice layout and easy to understand descriptions and naming for all he plants. Entrance is free so a must see. Also very warm inside so good when its chilly and cold outside.

Despite recent renovations, it seems a little worn. The walls are already dirty and the paint is peeling all around. Otherwise, it is a really good place for everyone, children and adults.

Free admission, not completely maintained as far as the plants are concerned, but early in the season so it can explain it. Nice place to go and reasonable prices if you want a bite to eat.

Amazing place. No entry fee iniside the dome and large park outside. Inside is quite educative and outside relaxing with benches and picnic spots.

Lovely place with many interesting plants and a staff who knows what they have of plants and they are not afraid to answer questions

Great place to visit. You can at the same time have a cup of coffee, cake, beer and soda. You can also take your small children with you.

Great place to visit on a cold winters day! Impressive tropical dome with Tower and butterflies. Nice cafe and variety of themed toilets! And it is free to enter.

Beautiful and free. It's quite surprising that it can be done. Nice canteen and possibility to have a meal.

The Botanical Garden, Aarhus, is definitely worth a visit, with a beautiful greenhouse and then it is next door to the Old Town, which is a "must" for a visit to Aarhus.

Very cozy place with a lot of different plants from many different climates. It is quite large and the plants are well looked after, everything is well maintained and you can see that the plants are being cared for. Much better than botanical garden in Copenhagen. It's free entrance which is clearly a plus. Definitely worth a visit

We were at Gamle By and since the botanic garden was close by we decided to go there too. We didn't have big expectations. It turned out to be free and very nice to visit. Many plants in a suggestive place (colors, sounds,...). It feels to be in a place far away. Worth a visit

Really great place. The temperature is pretty alike to the original place where the plants are from. The desert climate has sand and desert related temperatures and plants. Likewise for other climates too. Good description for the trees and free space and time to navigate and learn about things at your own free will

My boyfriend and I had the barbecue night with friends, it was nice. There are very clean and many rough areas if you want to do picnic. In addition, it's a super nice place just to walk around, odd benches and tables.

It was pretty, and I really liked the palm-house part, super cozy.

Many different flora, entrance is free.
In case you have any time to kill, it's the perfect place to go, besides it's close to the gamle by, so combining the two is also nice!

It's free and extremely beautiful! The cafe is excellent. They have an outside and inside botanical areas.

It's a great place for people of all ages. Families will be able to spend many hours there. The only drawback is the placement and number of toilet facilities.

The tropical house is definitely worth a visit. They also have a good collection of cacti. Entrance is free and you can easily spend 1-1.5 hrs.

Great place. Free entry. The facility has climatic zones with vegetation. Mega attraction in which you can see many interesting plants from around the world. In one of the rooms fly butterflies that add climate. It is interesting that the microclimate of a given place in particular zones is preserved. I recommend to visit.

Plenty of space and both barbecue bins and normal so there is no barbecue or rubbish around the garden.

Nice place to eat a delicious lunch in the center of Aarhus
