Beautiful botanical garden with a lot of exotic plants a long way from their natural habitat. The dome has a wet climate and it's hot but there are a ton of butterflies fluttering around.

Great place for a little trip, or a walk. It's free, the signage could use some work but we found the start and end.

Well I have been to other botanical gardens and to be honest I didn't like this one much. It's kind of very small. Not even the collection of plants is that attractive. I give it 3 stars because it haves a great landscape so you can roam about freely.

A charming place in the center of Aarhus. Free admission to both the part under the roof and the beautiful green areas surrounding it are an undoubted advantage. An additional, nice touch are the colorful butterflies flying in the garden building. You can see plants from a special lookout tower. There is a large parking lot in front of the garden. Because it is one of the few free parking lots in the city center where there is no parking time limit, it is not easy to find a place.

Recommendation for a nice visit to the botanical garden, free admission and ample parking available.

This place would you really go to, especially if you love plants? Once you get in there is a cafe, but if you go a little further you get into the first room and when you do not want to be there anymore, just go to the next. The last room is by far the best because, among other things, there are the most interesting plants (I think.) And because there is a very high tower. In the last room there is actually a small pond of fish, but in that lady there is also a very interesting plant, I can not explain it to you so you have to come and see it yourself. Have fun
PS: Try pouring water on the last plant I mentioned.

Well-kept plants, beautiful butterflies, suggestive path, with plants from almost the whole world

Nicely put there in different countries one shared.
In one there are also butterflies flying through the whole area and fishing for a water lily pond.
Drausen is also a beautiful landscaped park with description for the plants growing there as well as inside.

Such a wonderful place and I'm amazed it's free. The grounds are beautiful and green houses contain some really colourful and interesting plants. The main greenhouse has a great tree house. There is a cafe on site which sells alcoholic drinks, hot meals and ice cream. The greenhouses are situated within close walking distance to the central part of the city and is definitely worth a visit. We spent around an hour there but could have spent longer if we had more time.

Lovely place with a lot of different plants and biotopes. I had a great time, walking around, learning about the different plants. The surrounding garden is also quite beautiful and interesting. It should be said that I was there during spring, but I do imagne it to be even more amazing during summer. It was a biy hard to find the entrance tho, but I may nlame this upon my own confusion.

Free parking. Free entrance. Very nice area and greenhouses. The breakfast in the cafe is amazing. For 55 kr I got a huge salad with dressing and delicious bread with home-grown garlic butter.

It's nothing fancy, but it's truly a green sanctuary in the middle of the city where people can enjoy the sunny days.
