I really like Blick art Materials because they have variety of items and the staff is really helpful. However, their items are a little overpriced compared to other stores like Micheals and DaVinchi. But other than that their item variations are so rich!! Since here is art supply store so you can enjoy window shopping and be more and more creative!!

This is a small location, but they seem to have an excellent selection of "serious" art supplies. They have the specialty supplies that Hobby/Craft stores don't. But don't expect to find yarn, glitter, pom poms, and play dough here.
My visit seems to have coincided with the back to school rush. It was very crowded but the employees dealt with it admirably. They had employees reviewing student supply lists and answering questions and they kept the line moving.
Wasn't sure what kind of paint to get to paint my championship title and the manager was very very helpful great place and staff are friendly and polite with you
I love going to this place whenever I go to New York. I end up purchasing no less than $100 even though I don't have any plans to buy anything!

The variety of art materials impresses. The service is cordial, but we Brazilians are accustomed to more available attendants ... or better ... badly accustomed ... almost I went!
Quite compact store. The retail associates were very kind and helpful. They know where stuffs locate and recommended the best solution.
A pretty spacious place with a good variety of products. The workers are very knowledgeable, too. My only issue would be how long the checkout lines usually are.

If you like doing any kind of art form, this is the place to go. I wish the store was bigger like home depot. Fun place to look around too :)

I love Blick. This store is wonderful and the folks who work there are helpful without being on top of you all the time. If they don't have it at this well-stocked store you can try the other location about five blocks away or they'll order it for you. Their house brand art supplies are first rate. Worth a visit, but you're going to spend all your money here!

Top of the line! VERY well equipped and stocked art store. A Chelsea neighborhood FIND, right off 7th Ave. on 23rd Street, Manhattan. Wouldn't it be fun to work here?!!! * If you're ever looking for chisel or brush markers, you're in Heaven here! The choices are enormous!
Faber-Castell graphite is all I need. Blick is the best!
