HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLICKS!! 108!!!

Learned how to paint with a palette knife, and the sale prices were crazy...75% off some stuff. Sales associates are always friendly and knowledgeable.

Blick is my go to for art supply's. Staff is always helpful.

Utrecht is happy place! The staff is extremely friendly and full of artists. They helped me get into my experience of screen printing and cray pas. Everything is fairly priced. I will go back for refills on my paints which are a few bucks for 6 pack. The cray pas start out at like 3 bucks. Win win!

I've recently visited Blick on 23rd st and was very enthusiastic about the overall selection and getting back into doing paintings and other drawings,i was helped by Tara who was patient with me and really informative about the many different pencils and the right paper,my experience was great and i will always recommend that if you are a artist are just have hobbies to visit this amazing store with a great staff..

With a dwindling supply of good art supply stores in Manhattan, Block is now my go-to place. They have pretty much anything you could possibly want and very helpful staff. Prices are also reasonable.

Didn't experience friendly staff here. Staff expect you know things about art. I went only because everyone around me is talking about having good experience in this store. But not for me :'(

I'm taking a drawing class in college this semester and had a pretty specific list of what I needed. Thankfully, the staff helped me find my supplies without much trouble. I'll definitely be back, either here or at one of their other stores.

Really great staff and they had what I was looking for. Plus the prices were fairly low.

An artist's wonderland. They don't have stuff for crafting or sewing so remember that. The staff is helpful- the store is small.

Had my work printed for advertising design class. 11x17 on glossy paper = $3 bucks. FedEx really comes in clutch when you're in a rush.

Materials here are very good quality. Eveyone who works here is so nice and very respectful to the customer unlike other art shops I've been to. I literally go to Blick all the time. They are my number one trusted art suppliers.

Love this place, they have almost everything an artist could think up. Prices were significantly less than some local competitors. The fact they have large bags for poster boards was a huge plus

Most of the art materials were locked up and I had to constantly request someone to unlock the cabinets. This was very annoying. They wouldnt even allow me to place the items into my hand basket and continue shopping, they kept it behind the cash register. This makes you feel like a criminal.

Very good arts supply store. You can find good prices here but also some overly priced supplies. Not the warmest or most helpful of staffs. Limited hours... Closes early at 7pm.

This place is great. The staff is very helpful. I travel from the Bronx just to get art supplies from my favorite store. It's a small store but has sufficient art supplies.

I was just visiting NYC, but the staff was very helpful. They knew their store well and were able to locate things quite quickly.

The service was excellent, one of the employees let us test brush pens on her moleskin notebook to see if the pens would bleed on the paper

Very nice art store. Lots of various materials, paints, mediums and other supplies. They even have non-photo blue pens for scanning. The cashiers are very nice and pleasant.

Just signed up to have a picture framed at the 6th Ave & 20th St store. Ed provided great advice and delivered a really sensible and reasonably priced deal. Very satisfied.

It's a good selection but the dilemma is the materials are worth/priced more than the art created ....

It's the most well stocked store in Manhattan. Where the pros go. Good sales floor assistance.

Went to this store in search of a market which was locked in a case and was ignored by an employee named hannah horrible customer service

The service is stellar. They have any and everything you might want. Very convenient.

Some might find that paying a hefty price for supplies is not acceptable but what they offer is quite an array of products and the quality is better that supercenters. The subway-accessible location also makes this store ideal for art and craft lovers like me.

I must admit that everyone there knows there stuff. However, they are very rude. I go to an art school and work down the street so I'm there quite often. Whenever I ask someone a question (General Manager, staff, Store manager), they are always very rude. They answer my questions with a smart remark. So I stopped shopping there and started going to the one on 6th & 20th

The staff were accommodating. The products I wanted were only available online. I ended up making online and in-store purchases. Online order took a bit b/c it shipped from Illinois, not NY area, but that's not tragic.

Almost all the art supplied you need there, and good prices.

No customer orientation at all .... staff is not willing to help u out. Im also new in painting and needed assistance to choose my brushes, paints and other stuff. There were already 4 attendants and NONE of them assisted me... prices are good though....
