Utopolis Review

Great cinema experience with very advance technology like laser focus and 4dx seats are big and the cinema is super clean with a lot of of food and snack options. Great experience

Excellent rooms and comfortable armchairs. Quality films.

I really like how they reconstructed the place. Food/Snack selection is amazing however it's quite expensive.. But still you can save some money if you buy the vouchers which is valid for 6 months.

Make sure you double check your popcorn! You might end up with sweet when you wanted salty.

Modern facilities, online booking, comfortable seats with wide armrests. Some restaurants with pretty cool atmospheres in the gallery.

Overall great cinema. Confectionery shop is way over priced. Everything is clean. McDonalds on the ground floor which help to feed the kids before the movie. Parking is a pain, but you can use the Auchan parking lot , it's not too expensive

This was once one of the highlights for young Luxembourgish residents, back when it was still Utopolis. But since this place has been taken over by Kinepolis, it has turned bad.

Pros:
There are a few good places to eat, mostly exotic stuff which is nice and not overly pricey (for Luxembourg City).

The video and sound quality is good

Cons:
Their website is absolutely terrible. It loads extremely slow, and even when it loads there are sometimes important parts missing, such as barcodes, times, etc.

Online payment system sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Only Visa and Mastercard, no Paypal.

It feels like there is no support at all. Tried to phone, but was kicked out after 5 minutes waiting. Email to the official support account still has no response until this day.

The tickets are expensive. They cost about 3-4 more (normal seats) than other cinemas that I usually visit.

Neutral:
While the seats in general are comfortable enough, the cosy seats were a bit of a let down. Expected something snuggly and cosy. Instead I got a table which is nice for putting down snacks, and an armrest that can be lowered. It's useful, but not what I would associate with cosy.

Conclusion:
Don't come with high expectations and you won't be disappointed. If you need reservations, do them well in advance in case you can't pay. If you come only for the movie and can ignore everything else, it's ok.

Several screens, several restaurant. Food is not exceptional but it is very ok if waiting for movies

The cinemas are clean and conformable. The prices are a bit high but you can always find some deals or buy the family cards o rwith orange. The 4DX is a small cinema room and works really nice, I was amazed by the experience and 4D effects.

Clean and comfortable movie theater in a modern corner of Kirschberg. Tickets are a little pricy, but the movie going experience is pleasurable here.

Good seats, many halls and therefore also a fair amount of choice from good films. Great that you can often choose from a French German or original version.

Large cinema, the rooms are nice but the hall and the shop are old, it would require a makeover. What is good are the many restaurants nearby as well as the parking lot.

Nice cinema with connected catering. Good film selection, Mondays was cinema day, then the prices were ok. Stale 80s toilets.

My favorite cinema. You have the choice of 3 different languages for nearly all the films.

Love the movie theatres in Luxembourg because of their prices, in Luxembourg movies are cheap! I pay 7 for a movie, unbeatable price for maximum of service!

All blockbusters will have showings here. Cheap tickets, expensive snacks, decent seats.

The best cinema in Luxembourg. High comfort seats and a lot of places around to have something tasty. There is everything starting with McDonalds and finishing with Dean&David place with healthy food. Absolutely love it!

Very cheerful staff, but awful toilets, especially downstairs in the restaurant part ... :-( ... Impossible to go without a gas mask !!!

The Kassierierin was very nice and friendly, gave us good nor advise where you can sit down.

Before this was Utopolis and it was better: (the animated films could be in VO with subtitles and places were not numerous ...

Empty cinema complex when I went there. It looks like life is coming back
