I have not been to kinepolis for a long time and I found dirty places and young people on the stairs in to drink and eat and put everything on the ground. Otherwise the cinema side nothing to say.
Service like usualy in Luxembourg very bad. Seats in the cinema were good. It is better to go to Trier to Cinemaxx.
Staff is always lovely and helpful! Great place to watch movies :p
To expensive in general, especially the Popcorn & Co and Softdrinks. They need more Stuff to clean between 2 films. And the 4D, it's not amazing. Like a bad game on the Schueberfouer
U cant rake ur own cola to the theater, instead u have to buy a 4 bottle from the theater itself.
cinema complex, large cinema room, very nice, but unfortunately problem of withdrawal of space by bank card at the ATM today
Large movie halls with comfortable armchairs. On-site catering outlets and a shop with popcorn, drinks and whatever you need for a show. I love the idea of the head of the Polish repertoire, which enjoys almost interest. I recommend
The new concept is not suitable for children coming alone without a credit card
A fantastic movie theater that has reserved seating and always has the original version of English movies. This is subjective, but the German and French subtitles aren't distracting either. Be aware that each Hall/Room has a different size so pick your movie and seat with that in mind. Hall 10 is the largest. Though it's a little too large. Sometimes you can hear the audio echo in the room.
Very good cinema and the quality did not really change since the name change. You also have different restaurant in the building
A great multiplex place for a good cimema experience. The only thing I would suggest is more vegan /vegetarian /gluten free /healthy options at the canteen menu.
Large multi screen cinema. Just what you would expect.
Very good but not enough crates open to buy the tickets!
Big cinema. Seats now new. Toilets the most disgusting I have ever seen on 3 continents...
The movie schedules are poorly adapted to the availability of people. The schedules of the old Utopolis were better.
Practical because allows to see the films in VO subtitled, but the places can not be reserved, too bad.
Great selection of English movies (with German and French subtitles). Seats are comfortable and are reserved when you get your ticket which avoids the need to find seats together upon entering the theatre.
Tickets are ok price, but popcorn and drinks are hella expensive. Usually spend about 30 euros which is hella expensive yo
The best and largest cinema in Luxembourg you can not say more
The cinema is overall pretty nice but perhaps does not offer enough of original versions without subtitles (there are always two languages translated on the screen, which kinda spoil the view and difficult overlook), the snacks are not too expensive compared to other cinemas I have been to and the seats are comfortable, there is relatively enough space between each row but perhaps not between each seat within a row. It also depends in which screen room you are. In any case, the people are friendly and the crowd varied and respectful. It s a nice place to hang with a few restaurant and macd on the side.
Very nice and comfortable multiplex with wide selection of food and drinks around. For some reasons they do not let people enter until 5 minutes prior to the start of the movie (the trailers and advertising takes another 15 minutes) so you have to wait standing up. Also the seat is given, you cannot choose once you are there so chances are that you are stuck somewhere where you do not like.
Review of Kinepolis Kirchberg : Due to the takeover by Kinepolis this cinema has become worse than imaginable. I loved it when it was still Utopolis, but now I hate it. First: The quality of the restaurants and other stores in the building has become far worse that when it used to be Utopolis. Second: Prices for movies are horrendous. Especially for long movies in 3D (around 15 per person + 3 for 3D glasses) yes you read right, they will not lend you 3D glasses but you have to buy them which makes a long duration 3D movie cost you around 18 euros per movie. Third: You have to reserve your seat when buying it at the ticket counter. They will however not show you a map to see where your seat is. Last time I told them to give me a seat in the upper third in the middle, I ended up sitting in the 4th row on the edge. Furthermore they put strangers next to each other, which means that you will have no place to put your belongings since the seat next to you will always be occupied. Often the room is half empty, yet you have no space since they put everyone next to each other. Fourth: They offer cosy seats that are not at all cosy. For an extra of 2 per person you will be able to sit in a lowered seat that is uncomfortable. You will not be able to see the movie well, since you sit way lower an the person in front of you will cover a part of the screen. Also you will not sit propperly and most likely end up having backpain. Only advantage is that nobody will sit next to you since there is a table installed instead of a seat. (If there was no seat reservation everybody had this advantage) Fith: Seats are to small. There is simply not enough space. Sixth: They screen lots of movies far later than the initial release date (ex. Suburbicon, initial release 27th October, Kinepolis screening mid December) Seventh: I have not met one person that is sattisfied with Kinepolis, yet they have lots of positive reviews. Most of these reviews are about Utopolis and not Kinepolis. The other ones are fake and were obviously put there by Kinepolis itsef. I could go on and talk about how the food they sell is expensive, not fresh, and not varried; that you are not allowed to bring your own food; how the staff is often unpolite; that the last screenings (except saturday) will be at 22h, that the movie will not start at the announced time (actually they will start showing 20 minutes of commercials at the time the movie should star); etc, etc, etc. All in all this is a cinema that is very badly organised. I am truly diappointed to what Kinepolis did to my beloved Utopolis. I am sure that most people would like to see this cinema under old management again (For your info : Kinepolis did not keep the Utopolis staff but fired everyone and replaced them with obviously uncompetent people) Unfortunately there are no alternatives of cinemas in the capital and I will have to keep going to this lousy cinema as do most others. I however hope that one day another big cinema will open in Luxembourg. For that cinema it will not be difficult to become the number one in Luxembourg in a very short time since their only concurrent would be the one described above. Thanks for having read my comment :) Have a nice day.
Best cinema in the country. Every newest movies in a lot of languages . Restaurants and snacks. Love it
Normal cinema, cosy seats are great for couples. However the snacks are to expensive, I recommend you smuggle in your own.
Good cinema. With nice bundle offers such as Movie cards.
Parking was a bit of a hassle (roadwork shenanigans) but aside from that everything was great!
Big Cinema complex in the financial district of Kirchberg Good selection of restaurants inside the complex
its an alright cinema but they don't have IMAX which is a big disappointment also when you watch a movie in its original language it has subtitles which is annoying but other than that its alright
A 10-screen cinema that projects all new films. Extremely well organized and successful events. (Star Wars VII with the MIAM buffet) Price of the ticket really affordable. For drinks, popcorn, chocolates, .. that's another story.
Not just because it is the one of the few in Luxembourg, but it really offers great services and really cool screenings and screening times. You can also find some really nice restaurants within the premises and you can always use Auchan's underground parking nearby.
Last time I was, it was Sunday 14h. A little disappointed not a single pack of popcorn
Great place, clean and very spacious. Seats are very confortable. There are plenty of snaks to choose from and many restaurants to eat before or aftet the movie.
The movies theater is great with Very comfortable seating. However, the popcorn, especially the salted one was terrible. There was so much salt that we couldn't eat it at all. Otherwise the food options outside the cinema and the atmosphere is excellent.
Most Restaurants and pubs in the place are currently closed (although that should change soon). And the places that are there are overpriced and snobby. The cinema rooms are getting old. Given bad luck you might end up on a squeaky chair which is annoying during a film. All in all a shoddy cinema. But there's not really an alternative in the area.
Tjs a good experience! Just the new "cozy" seats I didn't find them exceptional. Otherwise all good :)
Comfortable seating, clean, good atmosphere and top-rate sound system.
A solid cinema. The seats are comfortable, films are shown longer than in Germany even in the original sound and it is a bit cheaper than in Germany (apart from the usurious prices for popcorn and other snacks and drinks).
There are all there, great for having a good time alone or with family.
Little bit out dated, but always has a great selection of movies and times
We have just returned from this cinema where we bought our 4 tickets at non-automatic checkouts. We had just been repressed by the vigil because one of my 3 children could not see The Lion King (hey yes!), He is 4 years old and the film is for more than 6 years. Result come home! In general, the new policy since the resumption of this cinema in 2018 is to number seats, increase the price of seats, pass the entrants (including our little blond heads) by the shop (big temptation candy, ice cream and chocolate ...) short profitability as the only goal. I can understand it but not with so many constraints! Pliiizzze think customer service!
Good cinema, clean and well maintained. The sound and the image are at the rendezvous.
Comfortable and clean cinema. snacks/drinks are outrageously expensive
A great cinema with many screens. Movies are screened in different languages, including OV. 3D versions are shown as well. The seats are very comfy, and there is plenty of leg room. Movie tickets can be booked online (there is no way of making reservations for particular seats, it's first come, first serve, and there are no seat/row numbers), purchased at vending machines or at ticket booths. On the ground floor there are a number of restaurants, among them a sushi restaurant, a McDonald's with a McCafe, and a healthy food restaurant.
Cinema, nothing special except that it's in Kirchberg
I come here every weekend, excellent food, comfort and quality of movies.
perfect cinema...prices are high though (Luxembourg standard)
can't agree more with previous post. It says 20h00 on the ticket. movie starts at 20h29
Priceers are uphall and the new stills are not meant to be ready for pregnant women or with people unauthorized.
Big movie theatre that assigns seats and clumps you together right next to other people even though the theatre is practically empty. I don't like that. I guess you can move once the movie starts, buy you never know if someone is going to come late and get in a snit about you sitting in their seat.
Top Cinema. The 4D story is not really necessary, but for once it can be done. However, the price does not justify it.
Easily the best cinema in Luxembourg. Huge, comfortable, spacious seats, ultra-modern screens and projection. Fast, efficient service, large auditoriums. My only gripe is that most movies include French and German or Dutch subtitles which can be very distracting. Other than that, a perfect theater.
It feels like the prizes raise every month, just way to expensive,. Ticket prices start at 12 to 17 for 4dx ticket. Plus drinks and food makes nearly 24 . I can just recommend 4dx, which is a lot of fun (watched Star Wars IX) or maybe a movie really have to watch or want to watch it with other people like horror movies.
