UT Dallas Police Departement Review

I ve encountered Officer KJ on multiple occasions while on campus. He s always been very professional and accommodating. He makes it his business to interact with the students on a regular basis. When I ve approached Officer KJ with questions and/or concerns, he s always responded and treated me appropriately. Officer KJ goes well beyond the call of duty to ensure students, faculty, and staff are secure on the UTD campus. I have never had an issue with this officer or any other officer on the UTD Police force.

If you don't reclaim a lost item, like a bike you don't use, and they sell it off after a few weeks

Thank you guys but you need to hire young officers not 50+ years old.

I approached patrol officer Kendrick Johnson in lot U to inquire about a dangerous driver, and he was very dismissive to me and my inquiry, as if he couldn't be bothered with me. He was scowling at me as I talked to him and said the incident must not have been serious as I was talking to Police about it several hours later, even though I had made it clear I didn't know the procedure for reporting such an incident. He said that speeding was not a crime, even though I had mentioned reckless driving, not speeding.

I wasn't looking for justice, as I hadn't been harmed; I was seeking information, and the response I received was very unprofessional and insulting. As a result of this interaction, I do not believe that UTD Police is sufficiently capable of managing risks to ensure the safety of students.

Yes, I know police department is also looking at this review. I know the officer who cited me, knows me. No offence, but it was a #FalseSpeedingTicket. Thank you for being rude with the students and robbing me of $300+ and more.

I never thought that I will face this kind of scenario!!! I feel bad about the fact that at some point, I wanted the police department in th middle of the school!!! I kind of get an idea why most of the resident students does not want them in the middle of the campus and vigorously opposed the idea, though most of the time they do a great job!!

Talk to a man named Justin on the phone he was horrible and unbelievably rude. He hung up on me and had an attitude the whole time. Highly recommend not calling so you don't have to talk to him

Waited over 1 hour for the sergeant to come to the police station so I can pick up a lost credit card because only she has access to the safe. Im sure she was busy solving a murder on campus or something while I just wait on the chair hoping that i can get my card. Zero stars. Completely inconsiderate and incompetent.

Went here to report a stolen bike. The officer greeted me with a warm smile and told me to provide all the relevant information that would help track down the thief. Although I was upset about my bike, his genuine concern eased my feelings a bit.
