Premier Tennis facility in the U.S. Not able to handle the large crowds that come to the U.S. Open. They ran out of coffee and croissants shortly after the facility opened for the day we were there. Also food and bathroom lines were very, very long.

The atmosphere at the US Open definitely lived up to my expectations. By the time the Del Potro/Wawrinka match ended, it was already 1:30 AM and their were fans still in the stadium cheering for their favorite player on!

I went for the NYC Bacon And Beer Classic. It was great. The stadium is clean and the bathrooms were also quite clean. The parking was terrible though, but I think it was because there was also a New York Mets game that was sold out at the same time. I don't think the parking is usually such a chore.

For the first time we visited a Grand Slam Tennis Tournament here during our first stay in New York. Because I am a fan of Roger Federer, I was particularly lucky, because it was precisely on the day of our visit that More

For any tennis fans, sports fans and celebrity watching fans, this is the place to go during the US Open tennis tournament. Food is expensive but plenty of good choices. The first week is great time to see the pros play tennis up close. Second week is when the best players of the world play in large stadiums. Lots of fun activities aside from tennis for the whole family. Don't forget to download the USTA app so you can take selfies in the stadium.

I attended the annual free qualifying rounds at the Billy Jean King Tennis Center. There's a lot of construction going on to build the new Louis Armstrong Stadium, scheduled to open 2018. Despite the work being done, the staff goes out of their way to welcome visitors and provide directions.
There are posted do's and don'ts for visitors as well as a bag check-in for items that are not accepted (fee). The security procedure is reassuring.
Once inside the center there's an extensive food court and other food vendors for a variety of tastes. Bring lots of money. An average meal of burger, fries and soda can cost $22.
There are many small tennis courts with bleacher seating so that you can really be close to the action.
There's also many retailers when you need a break from tennis. There are areas to sit in lounge settings as well as shaded grassy areas to picnic with friends - new additions this year
Even if you're in the cheap seats in Arthur Ashe Stadium, which seats more than 23k, for an evening match you can't beat the view of Manhattan at sunset!
Don't miss the US Open, August 27-September 10!

US Open 2nd round matches for 2018. Large tennis complex which combines retail and food options. There are very large crowds for this event but it is very well organised and the facilities and management are clearly adept at hosting an event of this size.

I had a wonderful experience at the US Open 2018. Nice facilities, clean restrooms that were mostly stocked. Sometimes the line for the water fountain was longer than the line for the bathroom. They need more water bottle fillers, which are much quicker than than traditional fountains. Staff members were friendly, welcoming and quick to offer assistance. Food options were sufficient though pricey. I thought the event was run very well.

Complex was gorgeous clean and really easy to navigate. The stadiums were very nice, updated and seating g was not too cramped. If you get a grounds pass there is sooooooo much to see on the first week from the practice courts to the smaller courts. Great selection of food and food was reasonably priced. Nice shopping as well and you must visit the fan experience which was great!!! Great representation of us tennis!!!

This is the grand slam which achieves the best show out of the 4 ones. Wimbledon is elegant and serious, but the US Open is like a rollercoaster! All action happens here, and they really know how to make it happen. I had the pleasure to be here in the 2013's US Open final, where Nadal beat Djokovic. A truly unforgettable moment.

I bought a tour ticket and really recommend it. I remember that it was hard to make a reservation at the time that was right for me than I thought ... I can tour with explanations of really various places such as locker room coat inside, but people who are not interested in tennis at all are interested. If you are not interested in tennis or if you are interested in tennis, I suggest you go there! I was able to see inside the newly built stadium and the interview room. It was not boring for the guide to explain the story and the history of the players, not to mention the story. (It also provides photo time everywhere you go). It is the most memorable place recently. I really wanted to see the actual game after the tour, so I bought a us open tee soon. (I'm expecting that various stores like restaurants and souvenir shops open the door during us open!)

Best for tennis spectators. US Open needs no description while the heat might need some introduction. Arthur ashe is somewhat shielded from heat. But other stadiums, basking in heat gives off unbearable heat.
Yes no AC so prepare well and make necessary arrangements when you plan coming to see the popular US open.

Very nice, but way overpriced, even for New York. I understand the booze, but why does a bottle of water cost $6?...$6! For the price of the ticket they should give you a complimentary one when you walk in.
