Pristine courts and a spacious, well kept up interior. You can book hours in advance online or by phone. I've played here as part of a wheelchair tennis program, and the coaches and other center staff are really good - the place just has a nice vibe about it. Also, check out the tasty and inexpensive snack truck in the plaza out front if you are hungry before or after your games ...

Arthur Ashe is much nicer with the roof and the cooling system. The new Grandstand and Court 17 are the best. For those who want to watch any other courts, arrive early to get seats in the shade (if you can).

Must see if you enjoy tennis! The grounds are so large with so many tennis courts. I had no idea there was so much going on. You can watch the players practice and everything. The only negative was the price of the food, but that's how it is at any event. The best food is available in the food court with many vendors, but you can also get stadium food (pizza, hamburger, etc.) in the stadium. They have large televisions outside of Arthur Ashe stadium if you wanted to just relax outside and lay on the grass watching the matches.

Love, love, love. Just a nice, nice place to visit. You really forget you are in New York. Everything about this place is great. I really, really like this place. Can't wait for US Open next year. It is a must do for me every year. If you visit once, you will visit again and again. A must do.

The sports complex is pretty massive and offers all sorts of things, from sporting venues to bars and restaurants, and merchandise. We've always enjoyed going there - though be prepared to walk a ways, especially if coming from the subway station.

This is a complex like Roland Garros in Paris but more modern and more commercial. Access is easy on Line 7. During the US Open, the atmosphere is good and friendly. The place is worthy of one. Grand Chalem Championship.

most convenient Grand slam option with the best ticket options! Last minute tickets for the second week can be less than 100 dollars if you look carefully, which is unheard of anywhere else. I personally take the labor day package every year

The US Open is one of the most exciting sports experiences you can attend in New York City. The entire event is loud and busy, has delicious foods from various vendors, and more tennis matches than you could possibly watch in a fortnight. Being part of the (cheering/booing) crowd at a match in Arthur Ashe Stadium is an automatic bucket list item for those of you who haven t gone.
Plan ahead for this event. Good tickets are very hard to get, good prices are almost impossible to get unless you buy your seats right after a top seed loses in the second week. For instance, when Federer lost Sept 2018, ticket prices for the semifinals seats dropped 60%. Unheard of but a great chance to take advantage.
Food and drinks are extremely expensive everywhere at Flushing. Crazy expensive. Bring your backpack, pack some sandwiches, cold storage drink containers, etc. you ll have just as much fun and they ll let you in as long as they can search and clear the bags you re fine getting your backpack through the gate.
I ve been coming to the Open since it was just Flushing Meadows with wooden stands. I am amazed every year at new improvements to the park. It is also kept very clean, unlike the rest of NYC.

Only come here for the us open, so I can't speak on the facility other than for that event.

The recent improvements have been amazing. These changes have had a huge impact on my enjoyment level during the us open. There's more space to walk around the grounds. More places to get food. And more restroom facilities.

The problem I have is with some of the food service employees. Every year I go, I've had consistently bad service. I don't know if they're poorly trained or if they just don't care. Some of the absolute worst food service workers I've ever interacted with. It's not 100 percent of them, but there are enough that it effects me every year.

Arthur Ashe stadium roof on Wednesday was open all day, no air,too humid, closed roof about 5pm, what a difference. And on Tuesday they had the roof closed all day? Since putting roof on, no air circulation in stadium....not worth the money you spend on seats and have to sweat on a humid day! But roof closed all day Tuesday makes no sense?

I have seen the UP Open Qualifier for free. There is a baggage inspection, if you are traveling with a child, you can enter the rucksack, adult water bottle, and selfie stick with a $ 5 locker. Check it out on the site! Depending on your age, it might be better for a child who is having a hard time watching the game quietly. There are fountains, souvenir shops, and music and circus teams can walk around and enjoy the atmosphere without watching the game. I felt the official staff was the best in America.
