Very helpful and friendly staff and a giant variety of equipment, from lights, stands, tripods, film, developing kits, lenses, rentals, used gear, it goes on.

One of the few places in this area where you can still find black and white film and photographic paper for use in a dark room plus they have all the filters you need and a variety of lenses and makes of cameras

For more than 8 years I have been shopping at Pitman Photo Supply store, I have spent hundreds of dollars, mostly on photo albums and frames.
This is the only place I can ever find albums that are different sizes, colors etc. These albums you can never get at other stores. The staff is always polite and ready to help when it's needed.

I have always recommended this store to all my friends when they comment on the beautiful frames or photo albums they see me with.

Has so much things related to photography but new customers have to wait after regulars. When I did get help it was excellent.

Prices are surprisingly good for a retail store.

Very helpful, went to print some old negatives and what I wanted was a little complicated. I had marked which ones I did and didn't want with little flags and they were very accommodating. Unfortunately some of them had gotten stuck to the film and they had no advice on how to fix them but overall very understanding and helpful.

Great place for serious photography, but I'm there for old-school film developing! Found some old Kodak rolls in the desk drawer, and this is the only place to take them!

Helpful, knowledgeable staff. This place is packed with cameras, lenses, photo gear, accessories, and supplies. And the prices on big name cameras and gear are as good or better than big box stores. They have a lab that prints up to poster size and they still develop film.

Knowledgable and helpful staff! Unfortunately, they don't develop film onsite anymore so have to ship it out (if you're looking to develop film in a hurry be aware the process will likely take 7-10 days).

I have had several passport photos made at Pitman Photo Supply over the past several years because the photos came out superior to any I have had taken at other stores. They set up the lighting like a professional portrait studio.
I more recently purchased binoculars from Pitman. I was surprised at the low price for high quality binoculars that included Nikon coated lenses. The price was equal to big box stores.
The staff was very knowledgeable and professional. This is always very important for customers looking for the best when purchasing complex equipment.

Was once a good store, but the guy who answered the phone had no idea what PROFOTO was. So not actually a pro store at all...

Dave is very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. My wife and I went to learn about a specific camera and he spent more than an hour explaining and teaching us about the different lenses, camera bodies and other gear. He even took the time to take pictures with different lenses so we could see the difference. He is definitely a great asset to the company and made our first interaction with Pitman a pleasant and informative one. We are definitely going to buy our supplies from them.

I went for passport photos for a non-US passport, and they were knowledgeable and quickly accommodated the request - as well as guaranteed the photos would comply with requirements or they would be retaken for free.

The store its Close, i hope they if change of location at least leave and intinerary of when its going to be open, it s a far location so call and hope they answer you, to Check if they finally open and the hours of Work

You can get better prices in other stores and better quality

One of the last photography stores in Miami. I went to buy film and they carry most roll film from Kodak.

Amazing local store! The staff is super friendly and they always have a decent inventory onsite!

I needed some last minute pictures for my wedding, and they helped me through the whole process and even made some last minute copies before closing. I highly recommend this place! and it s so economical. I even bought a water case for my phone for my cruise. Take a USB it s easier to make copies or go online to their website for quicker results.

Great people, fantastic selection of tripods which was perfect as what I needed wasn t for photography. They took their time to show me lots of options to meet my needs. In this age of amazon being so dominant it s great to see a brick and mortar store that holds such an assortment of inventory on hand with a staff that takes the time to show you lots of options - it s not all about price - it s about selling their value as they did it.

If you're looking for a good camera THIS is place to go... Super friendly staff, very knowledgeable and with tons of patience. The prices are competitive, don't make the mistake of comparing with Amazon! This guys are super helpful, highly recommended!!

Excellent shop! We bought a tripod and a backpack for a photo, also at a discount! Good sellers, wide choice!
The only thing is that on Sundays they work from 12 noon.

Honestly, this is the best photo store in south Florida. They ve been around ever since I picked up a camera and man that s more than 10 years. They have everything you need available in store for the beginning to the advanced photographer. The customer service here is outstanding as they will listen to every question you have and provide the best recommendation as well as a perfect explanation to tell you why. All 35mm film is available here a bit pricey but if you need it right then and there it s available to you. They clean sensors but limit service for certain cameras. Anyway, go to Pittman. You ll be in good hands.

COVID Insanity: I go to Pitman on a Saturday morning. Not one customer in the store. Completely empty. I walk in...no greeting from the two staff members...40 feet apart standing behind the counter...not a "can I help you find something?". I did get "we have hand sanitizer over there". I said "I just washed my hands...thank you". Note: I just showered and went straight to the store. The employee said "you have to use the santizer". Seriously? I have to use their hand sanitizer in order to shop their store. I have to put an unknown chemical on my hands that you provide to look around your store? So I left and went to BestBuy. BeatBuyhad lots of customers and no insane requirements other than masks. Pitman is the type of business that will be crying that Covid put them out of business. Pitman enjoy your hand sanitizer and self mandated Covid policies. I hope it pays the bills.

I love this store. Great customer service that are willing to help you out. Also quite knowledgeable. May not have everything compared to bigger photo stores but they will gladly order it for you. Prices are okay, I guess they should be a bit more competitive. Overall, positive experience with this store.

It is a small store. There are not many brands of necessary accessories like cards and others. Little in lighting. Many bags.
