I am so pleased that I have discovered US Sherpa! The products are unique and make wonderful gifts. I bought several scarves and my friends all loved the quality and colors. It is so rare to find a company that combines style, quality, great design, natural fibers and reasonable prices. It is now my "go to" website when I want to treat myself or find a special gift.
I've used the gear while on my own hikes in Shenandoah - great quality! Met the family and trekked in Nepal with Ongyel - a wonderful experience and can't wait to go back!

US Sherpa's products are the best and the vast majority of them are sourced directly from factories in Nepal. What could be better than getting great gear that is also helping to support the livelihoods of the Nepalese people - especially if you are a gear-head climber like myself. The owner's story of how he came to the US from Nepal as a young man, obtained his education here, started up US Sherpa, and is now helping his community back home is awe-inspiring!
We used US Sherpa for our 2018 Mount Everest Base Camp Trek and I cannot say enough good things. Our trip was absolutely perfect. Everything was so well organized, from communication with Ongyel prior to the trip, to the trek itself, to our final days exploring the city of Kathmandu. It was truly a lifetime memory and an unforgettable experience. US Sherpa is an incredible company and one we will continue to support!
I became familiar with US Sherpa's products when I started carrying them in my retail store about 9 years ago. Not only have I sold them, I have used many of them, and not once have I been disappointed.
I love their knitted mittens, gloves, and fold-over fingerless gloves which come in a variety of patterns. I have at least one pair of each. (Different colors for different coats.)
I have three of their shoulder bags, a few of their scarves, a singing bowl, a mini journal, and a yak wool shawl/lap blanket.
My customers loved the singing bowls and were delighted by the reasonable price for such good quality.
Nearly all their items are made by craftspeople in Nepal and excellent quality.
Their retail store in Williston is a hidden treasure and worth seeking out! They have some items there which are not found on their website or in other retail stores.
I highly recommend them!
US Sherpa's products are top notch! I usually go through one or two hats per year from hard use, but not this one! It is amazingly well made, comfortable, and fashionable. My wife loved mine so much, too, that she went and got herself and her sister hats.

I ordered a bag online. Came in, in a timely manner and was packaged well. Was really cute, just not exactly what I was expecting. I emailed US Sherpa and they gave me the option to mail it back and put a note in it with my receipt for the one I wanted to exchange it for or just stop in. Tbe exchange was easy as pie. Love my new bag. Is really sturdy but still cute.
I purchased two US Sherpa bags, one for me and one as a gift because I loved mine so much. I needed some help figuring out which color to order for which bag for the gift and the customer service was awesome and so helpful! The bags are such beautiful colors and are strong and well made. My bag is perfect for what I need!
