I love this Credit Union. I've been here 5 years. There was a hiccup in the past with online bill pay, but they smoothed it out very well with me. It's a credit union, so you won't have after-hours access. I still love it.

I went to this branch to open an account and left ...

I went to this branch to open an account and left with no additional knowledge than what I already had. I was put with a new teller who had no idea what she was doing. I can understand that she was training, but her customer service was terrible. When I asked her about my account's perks, she stopped explaining it once her trainer walked away. She also took too long to open my account, which was a terrible experience in itself because I was standing for at least 40 minutes waiting for her to figure out the process.

I have been with this credit union for about 6 years. I am going back to Chase. They have a faulty online and banking system and you can't get any help outside of business hours. They only got one star because I couldn't post without selecting a star.

Had issues with my car and was left stranded. Autumn and her manager stayed around after closing hours to ensure that I could somehow manage to get the funds, and then we finally succeeded. We tried everything from ATMs to Swiping the card instead of inserting. They were more than helpful and even showed excellent customer service despite my high frustration due to being stranded and unable to access my funds. Kudos to the two of them and their team

Just drove 45 miles to the Merrillville branch to ...

Just drove 45 miles to the Merrillville branch to find out that the lobby is closed, its 530pm on a Monday, their website says they're open until 6pm, turns out just the drive through is open. Thank you US Federal for having accurate information on your website, not really. Very disappointed

Made an appointment for 9:30am pulled up at 9:20am...

Made an appointment for 9:30am pulled up at 9:20am. Called to let them know I was outside waiting. Caller said we will come get you shortly. I waited until 10:01am to call to see if they were busy maybe they forgot about me for them to say they looked out the door saw two cars and because it's a liability issue they could not come to vehicle. So they never called me or anything. I did get seen but why wouldn't they give me a call and say we are waiting on you? Instead they wanting me to pull off. If it's a liability issue why have us wait in car thinking someone will come to my car. Just call customer when you guys are ready for them. I feel like if I don't have a steel mill pension in my account I get treated like a poor person. Every client should get treated equally no matter where they work no matter what color their skin is. But once again this is AMERIKKA

They needs to find better ways of dealing with and solving there customers problems that's out of state or on vacation, that's convenient over the phone, and all so offers credit cards for this particular Credit Union.
