The staff here are very friendly and service can be quick. Those are the positives and are worth a couple stars.

There are some real inconveniences though. They do not have their own parking area. Closest public parking spots are a 5 minute speed walk. The second inconvenience is their credit card payment process. For some reason or another, in 2021, even though everyone has switched to contactless due to the pandemic, the US consulate is still swiping cards in a keyboard mag stripe reader that is frequently down. I had to walk over a kilometer round trip to the nearest ATM to complete my passport application. Many others had to do the same. You've been warned - come with cash. Their payment tech is outdated and unreliable.

Had a great experience of visiting the consulate. The security staff was super fast, there were no queues outside the building. Inside the staff was very fast, and the process was super smooth. The whole process took only 40 mins. The interviewer lady was super friendly and asked only relevant questions, the interview took only 3 mins. Got my visa on the third day from the post office.

Please fill the forms correctly and remain honest in the interview process. Good luck

Quick and Easy... Just make sure you get parking on th opposite side of the consulate.

Let me be free and with my wife and 5 children in the US. I am trapped in the UAE without any assistance from the US Embassy Abu Dhabi & the US Consulate Dubai. The US State Dept & US Consulate Dubai refuse to help a US citizen and military veteran.

Just got my US visa, the process was very professional and no wast of time. The overall experience was perfect. The people management staff were very kind and generous. The visa interview process was very professional and staff was very friendly. Questions asked were reasonable and straight forward. My advice, just be honest with interviews questions.

What a great experience. Your staff and security members are so friendly and helpful, there's parking just around the corner. This was such a simplified process, thank you. I could not be more excited for my vacation.

I went on time ...my appointment was 8am and 8:45 am all done....just be honest and genuine and you will get your visa

I had to write my review after I read some bad reviews about the customer service.

First are the good points;1. All Servies provided by the consulate staff were very good, from the security at the main gate until the end of the Intreview. I didn t face any issue with any staff.
2. As long as I came ready and prepared with all requested documents all process steps were done and passed in smooth way. So over all what was written in the instruction at their website was true and I experienced it by myself.

Second are some points they need to find a better way to handle it,1) car parking lot is far away and limited (there is empty parking lot near to gate 1&2 and closed by Dubai police. 2) AC air conditioning it was hot inside the security check room and the consulate area( keep in mind that we had to walk around 20 minutes from the parking and waiting in a long queue outside so we are expecting better temperature inside.3) the floor was dirty and I didn t see any house keeping\clean service inside.

After all I would like to thank everyone who is doing their job properly.

I went to pick up my passport at 2pm as they said and to my surprise in July they have all of us standing outside in the middle of the afternoon in Dubai summer. You are embarrassing me as an American and I am shocked that you think this is okay. It is very bad to leave people standing in this heat and with masks. No one is even at the window for collection and it is 2 :15.... we have been standing for 20 plus minutes

Poor signage and no air conditioned spaces for visitors. Security is strict as usual and no mobile phones allowed. Services are quick but that could be because of COVID19. No parking near the building so be ready to walk in the heat. Security charges is more than the cost of getting passport renewed.

Excellent experience. It was hard to get an appointment due to Covid-19 however process of renewing passport was seamless and swift.
