The grounds and appearance of this University are very picturesque and the facilities are in constant upgrade to appeal to wealthy students to attend. It has now become an institution where income and appearance is a priority and Education falls last on the list.

Beautiful campus, but quite expensive for international students.

Beautiful buildings. Staff are very helpful. Only complaint would be that there are a lot of students that seem to be able to pay their way in.

The most beautiful, elegant university I've ever been. I study at a different university but am very impressed with UQ. It's a mini city has bank branches there and lots of food outlets. It's a huge campus so expect to be a little bit lost but there are directory maps around. All students are friendly.

Excellent!!! Love going to the campus to charge my EV....free. Can't get better than that.

This is a great place to study. The classes are taught well, there are plenty of resources available to students to review their course content including copies of their lectures slides, lecture recordings, tutorial work and other additional resources depending on the course. There are also plenty of great facilities including libraries, 24/7 study spaces and various stores. High quality wifi is available for student use.

Beautiful campus either for study or visit as a tourist attraction. In the spring the whole place turns purple. It has a variety of shops for having a coffee or some food.

A beautiful area of Brisbane. Phenomenal architecture around the campus, beautiful fauna and flora along the river, around UQ Lakes etc. Quite picturesque.

The campus is very beautiful and beautiful, but the parking fee is very expensive!

Nice place to stroll around. Quite a few large lakes near the Ferry Terminal entrance. There is also wuite a nice, large grassy area inside where you can just sit and enjoy the buildings and atmosphere. Busses to and from the Univeristy can be caught at Chancellors place.

Students are not valued here. Bureaucracy is over the roof and nobody cares about actual people. No support or understanding from the administration. So many people review the architecture and the parks around, but is it the actual reason you go to a university? The scenery can be nice but the place is rotten on the inside. After 4 years of PhD here, I never want to come back. Thank you very much UQ for your negligence.

I am planning to further my Bachelor in music there maybe next year~

Really enjoyed my 4 years here. Fantastic place to learn, great staff and facilities, lovely to picnic and just sit around during the day and relax. A world-class university.

The Carnival for the school game was hosted here and was a good oval but a very long line to the small cafeteria made it quite hard to navigate the area.

If anyone asks me where should I study English in Australia I will answer this question obviously... don t go to study at ICTE-UQ!! And this is the reason why I answer like this. This is the true story that I m gonna tell u. I came here to study English at ICTE-UQ because I have heard everyone said this is the best place to study but right now I have change my mind for these 2 reasons 1 is at the first week here I was having lunch with my friends at the canteen someone stole my bag which it s really important because I have many important stuffs like passport, Visa cards, etc. so I walked to the security building to ask for a help to see the cctv cuz I think that burglar still walked around in the uni but they rejected what I asked for a help so I called police to report then I found that it s useless cuz no one can help and finally they will just leave this and forget it. 2 is when I first came here the reception said if u have a problem with a class like any problems u can ask for changing class cuz ur our client and u pay a lot of money for us to get the best education here but that s not true cuz the reality is no matter how unlucky you are that u got a no responsibility teacher that forgot to check ur assignments and essays like 4 times and forgot to bring ur notebook here and couldn t answer what we asked a question about grammar only replied oh I m sorry I m not sure, I don t know ... some teachers just came to the class and read on the paper or books and leave... excuse me u should know one thing I didn t come here to listen what u read I came here to study... I don t think that s the way that called Teaching my dad paid a lot and we expect a lot to study here but yea I was so disappointed and I feel like I wasted my dad s money and time every single minute. Me and my friends came to talk about this problem and the answer we got is ... to change a class is not how we solve problems here we will talk to ur teacher to change the style of teaching ...hahaha that s funny how can someone change a style in one day... so... if someone asks me where s the best place to study English in Australia? Absolutely I will answer... don t go to the ICTE-UQ just that... thank you

Excellent university with top notch facilities and professors. One of the top universities in the world and ranked 1st in Queensland. Astonishing and beautiful campus. This 20th century university or stand stone university has lot to offer. Currently, I'm studying master's degree and the experience is really good.

Haven't had a problem with any of the doctors, they do their best to treat my ongoing anxiety issues.

However, at the reception I was experiencing extreme anxiety while waiting for the appointment which was escalating as I waited, only to have the receptionist respond to my inquiry and forced acknowledgement of my disappointment with an uncalled for defensive and condescending comment about my expectations. I understand there are emergency cases, I just didn't know how much longer I could hold off my impending panic attack, which I had immediately after sitting back down. I'm not saying I didnt possibly come off as 'rude' but I don't feel I needed to be treated that way. Simply telling me 'I'm sorry about that' would have been more than enough for me.

Grounds are well maintained and great to walk through.

Absolutely love walking along the riverbank. One of best places in the city for walks. Quiet, few people, picturesque. Love it!

The application process is very Slow. Its been almost 3 months since my application and am yet to get a tangible reply.
But am not Giving up yet.

Best UNI ever in Brisbane which is why i got my degree from there!

UQ is home to one of the nicest university campuses in the world. I've been fortunate enough to travel a lot and have been to places like Harvard, MIT, Melbourne Uni, U Penn, UC Berkely, UT Austin, Maryland, and Columbia NYC. But UQ truly blows them out of the water when it comes to aesthetics. Whether its the sandstone great court, the UQ Lakes or the state of the art engineering building. Its a great place to visit for a picnic, and an even greater place to study

My UQ experience shaped me into the happy and ambitious woman that I am today. Facilities and staff were world class and I am still so glad this university was my top QTAC preference those many years ago. I am a proud 2015 Alumni of the Tourism & Hospitality degree and will always think highly of my experience here.

Terrible if you are vegetarian. Already twice they serve their vegetarian dish #6 with meat and chicken. Therefore Beware if you are vegetarian and be cautious of what you eat as for you might end up on a hospital or worst.

hopelessly understaffed. very long winded IT processes just to access basic things like student emails. just spent 25 minutes on hold trying to talk to exam dept and still didnt get through. course delivery format looks very amateur. never will return

In Journalism, UQ seems to be one of the most active universities around Australia. At the Young Art Journalism Awards (YAJA) we receive a strong response from both students and academics.

I personally feel UQ is the best choice a student can take from all the universities in QLD. It is vibrant and there are students from all walks of life. Thus, you dont feel left out or been discriminated. Unlike Griffith you feel that you are respected. The course materials is top class and you really learn. The lecturers seems professional and know what they are talking about. Most importantly the tutors and lecturers are down to earth and not descriminative as compared with Griffith. At Griffith I experienced some tutors personally judge you and descriminative, If you are from a different culture, or from a non English speaking background. UQ is the place to come and study. You wont feel alone. They have societies from almost every popular country, lots of activities and I know you wont be treated like a second class citizen. All the Best

Your school's top 50 in the world, the tuition fee is more than the knowledge learned. The knowledge that the high school teachers can teach is returned to the teachers. If your school thinks the students can t learn, just don t teach it.

I visited UQ a few times and was impressed by the facility I saw and the staff I met.The theses that I reviewed from UQ each were built on a number of high impact journal publications; they are well organized and easy to read. UQ graduate office staff such as Megan did a fantastic following up work for all sort of issues.

A beautiful 'sandstone' university located in the heart of Brisbane. Expansive learning complex with milultiple buildings dedicated to the Schools of Law, Medicine, Engineering etc. Vibrant lawns and beautiful plants adorn the site, with a lake towards the South.

Beautiful campus, great lecturers, heavier work load than some other universities by far.

Recently the University viewed a copy of the performance 'Romeo and Juliet' by Zen Zen Zo. It was a strong performance following the tale of two star-cross lovers. Incorporating the themes of love, hate, tragedy and fate, the director, Steven Mitchell Wright (who also happened to be one of the three main characters) directed the play to a main success, touring around Australia and Hong Kong for 3 years.

Couldn't find a better place to get an education ^__^

UQ is Queensland's best university. The main St Lucia campus is beautiful. It has state-of-the-art facilities and fantastic resources. The student support here is great and the exposure to leading academics is invaluable. It is a wonderful place to study.

Might be highest score University in Australia. However, I still wanna complaint: why not put all information into paper form and sent out to students via blackboard so that we don't have to see lecture recording over and over again only small fraction of exam information on ppt . Make sure student understand gonna be more important than keep lecturer' job. Dude we don't even have time to do past exam paper. I wish next generation students could have better conditon than us.
