Not much around the area.. more for the local for their daily activities.. there is kopitiam and mamak.. some car workshop.. mini grocery store and book shops. Night time or weekend might be heavier on traffic as most of the local are having dinner and so..
Need to explore to those wooden houses areas you may find home cook food style and some famouse seafood steamboat recomanded by others..
