Uplands Retail Ltd Review

Adverse reviews online made me nervous when my insurance company appointed Uplands to refurbish my kitchen after a water leak. I need not have worried - they were polite and helpful and the work was carried out to my complete satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I recently had my lounge ceiling done a week ago I am very pleased with the finished work.
The guys did a professional job from management to painters keeping me updated when they could. I know I may not have made an easy customer to work with!! Job well done.

Dreadful..If your insurers put this company in touch with you, refuse to have them, and ask for another. Incompetent, and a bunch of cowboys.

Having suffered the trauma of a house fire earlier this year, Uplands were engaged by the insurance company to conduct the 'make safe' (enabling us to occupy again) and the restoration work (to re-instate the house to good condition). I will speak as I found - the whole experience was very well handled by their project manager Jon, in a very professional and caring manner. the work was completed to a very high standard within the quoted time frame, and I was particularly impressed with the on site liaison regular visits by Jon as project manager.

We have just recently been through an insurance claim where Uplands we the builders for it. The site / project manager was fantastic and really understood how important it was for us to be back in our house by a certain date. Regular contact was made by the builders, updates given along the way. Everyone showed a real interest in the situation and worked together to get the job done. We are really pleased with the work that has been completed by uplands. Thank you for doing such a great job.

Just awful. Lackadaisical to say the least. Shoddy, careless, unprofessional. Disrespectful to our property. No shows. Couple of hours work here and there if they feel like it. Avoid at all costs. You have been warned!
