Uno's: Deep Creek Lake Review

While visiting relatives in Somerset we decided to go shopping in the nearby town of Homestead. My aunt insisted that we have lunch at Uno's Pizzeria & Grill as the food was delicious. When we arrived I had to admit that I was impressed with the decor and atmosphere of the place. It was fairly crowded for a weekday but we were seated in less than ten minutes. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu answering all our questions with ease. I settled on a Turkey, Bacon and Avocado sandwich and old fashioned tomato soup after looking over the menu several times. They have a variety of dishes guaranteed to please all ages. The food arrived in no time and was DELICIOUS! The portions were just right for lunch, I was definitely ready for an afternoon of shopping. The four of us had items off the Two for U lunch menu, our bill was less than $30 which meant that I might could afford the shoes I wanted to buy! My aunt was right, you cannot visit Homestead without stopping to eat at Uno Pizzeria & Grill, it is FANTASTIC!!

The pizza was very expensive, it was $75 for three pizzas and they were very small. For a group of 12 this was very disappointing and left a lot of us still hungry.

Loved the pizza they serve here. Rarely I have a pizza to remember but this is surely the one. They surely are pretty good at what they do. Beside having a great dine in experience they also have a great ambience at their backyard on weekends and a really nice view.

We had our HOA meeting there, and they did a great job with the food and drinks.

There were 5 of us. Seated right away. Not inexpensive but the food was excellent. We enjoyed it and will be back whenever we are in the area!

Anytime we make it down to Deep Creek we stop here. Perfect deep dish pizza!

Typical Uno's. Bit noisy. Convenient to lake access (not my thing). Food and service are good. I prefer Mountain State Brewery.

Didn't land there recently but in the past it was very good food and big windows with beautiful views right by the water.

One of the best places to eat, uno's number one deep ban pizza. Service great, quick, polite. Will wait a little while, but only on sundays or special days. Well worth it. A nice ride from pgh area, especially if you know the back way down through Oakland, Maryland. All there food is great, but deep pan is to die for, not at the waterfront, don't go there for it. Love this place. I could spend all day here. Sit outside or inside or you can walk out side down by the water. A very cozy place with great gluten free pizza.

Our food was cold and the service wasn't the best. We were left with appetizers that were pretty good. The majority of us went home hungry.

I had the best ribs there. The service was great. Man, the plates were enough for two people to eat off of. The atmosphere was clean and enjoyable for all ages. Will definitely go again. Thank you Maryland for great food restaurants

Good food and good service the view of the lake is nice

I finally tried a deep dish pizza, which was better than anticipated (being a thin-crust afficianado). Although we sat in the bar area, it was quite cozy and comfortable. The food was overall very good. The place was packed on a Saturday on Mother's Day weekend, but service was still very good. Our server, Rachel, was super and friendly, as were the greeter and bartenders.

My Mom and I stopped for lunch last week while in the area. We ordered the pizza and salad lunch special and it was delicious! We had a very nice server who was friendly and chatted with us a little. I feel that the quality of the food was well worth what we paid, which was average for a lunch special. It was a very pleasant experience and I plan on going again when I am in the Deep Creek Lake, Md. area.

This is a really cool location as it is right on deep creek lake and has great views. It is also an interesting layout internally. The pizza is fine, not the best deep dish you will ever have but quite good still. Staff was friendly and attentive and we certainly got filled up. Definitely sugggest getting a box and not trying to finish a whole pizza, even a personal sized one, in a single sitting.

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would!!! We had the absolute best experience eating dinner at UNO s Deepcreek. I ve never been to a more well-run restaurant anywhere. The manager was exceptional. Our server, Aliyah, was the sweetest. The food was incredible - and they have Vegan cheese and draught root beer! Really an amazing place. Thank you so much for making our stay at Wisp that much better!!!

What a location, on the Lake adjacent to Honi Honi Bar ( part of Uno) with a great area to relax on the lawn, on the balcony, inside and many Boat Slips so you can come by Boat. Food is wonderful especially the classic Uno Chicago style Pizza but they have it all. Service was great too!

The fish sandwich was hard as a rock, 5 of us and the only thing edible was the pizza. I told the manager that all of our food was horrid...took the fish and smashed it against the plate 5 times...it did not break! Do not go here unless you just want a beer.

I visited Unos and the Honi Honi a couple weeks back and wanted to share my experience after discussing it with my wife. My sister and her husband along with my wife and I visited the Honi Honi for the first time. It was a little busy but nothing too crazy. The two female bartenders were blatantly rude and just seemed overall to be miserable. We thought about leaving after a round of drinks but instead headed up to Unos. We were seated immediately although they seemed rather busy. Low and behold we met our saving grace, Jarren!! Jarren was a bundle of joy and turned our whole experience around. He talked us through the menu and helped us land on some good food. My wife and her sister both had flatbreads while my brother in law and I had burgers. Jaren was very attentive and made sure we had a good time. The deep dish sundae to top it all off was perfect. Had it not been for Jarren we would not even think about returning but because of him you will be seeing us again soon! Thank you

Though my husband and I aren't very familiar with Deep Creek so with the 5 of us, we just drove down the road until we found something that looked suitable for us.
Very glad we did that because Uno was absolutely delicious and filling. The service was great and above all the decor was perfect.
It was excellent for our 3 children 7, 5, and 3 years old, the decor kept them entertained and they were also very pleased with their meals!
I would absolutely recommend this restaurant!

Average fare. Nothing that I can say I love Pizzas are a good choice, especially the deep dish. Great views of Deep Creek lake, especially if you are fortunate enough to dine outside.

Absolute worst place we ate all vacation. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed despite many empty tables. Booths were dirty (I sat in food from a prior diner). Food took forever, waitress messed up the orders, and the pizza were burnt. No apology from management either. Don't waste your time on this place.
