We had a blast at the National Finals Rodeo! It was our first time there and so we were unsure about our seats but it seems like the arena is really built for good vision no matter where you sit. We had tickets in 232 row H and it wasnt bad at all. Great venue and the facility seemed clean and organized. It was an excellent night.

Seats are very close together and uncomfortable. I will never go to this facility again. Stairs are steep and slippery. Beers are $8.00 and wine is 12.00 for a small carafe this is a UNLV basketball venue. Much too small to host a National Rodeo. Crowded, noisy, and smelled really bad. Maybe the horses, bulls, and cows.

Place is huge! And for all the people that was there hardly ever had a wait line to bathroom. Food stalls however mostly only supplied unhealthy greasy fast food types. Which didnt appeal to me. But otherwise was great

We went to the Thomas and Mack for Covid 19 testing.
1.) It was up a long haul stairway of which we could not hold the rails required for safety.
No one was sanititizing them and numerous people were using them .
Also the moving stair escalator for disable persons was not working forcing people to have others haul them up.
So no access for the disabled.
2.) Orders were given to not have large gatherings.
Especially indoors.
Numerous people were in line. for long periods of time.
3.) No prior set up to complete paperwork before the end of the line.
It could have gone faster if that was done earlier in the line.
4.) The cattle like rails that kept the wrap around lines seperated were not cleaned one time while we were there.
Also most of the bottom base feet had been installed / spot welded? Upside down leaving an obvious OSHA safety hazard due to the ridged rails on the top that should be flipped so the slits on the sides would be faced down on the floor instead of up where trip and falls or falls upon would not cut a knee or hand or other area. They also were randomly setup where tripping was likely.

5.) Most importantly all of this could have been done in a driveup in your car line . Outside where the stairs would not be a challenge for the disabled or putting people at risk from ventalation systems . Now I believe that much of the Thomas and Mack was exposed to possible virus infection. Stacked boxes of printed materials, forms and other hand outs were in the exit stairwell along with an open security office. With people working in there.

Also as you stand facing the desk person you realize that a taller person would not be within the shield height and put the desk person in additional risk .
I realized that the point of the guidelines were not in practice. That it would take that entire area to be sanitized often and completely daily . I know it was not due to the trash that was on the counter areas the spills that remained . The grime that was on the trash cans and other areas that hands had been dirty and placed on.
The wrap around lines negated the 6 foot minimum distancing by being next to another x 3 lines running parellel. Inside the line two spaces were placed. In some areas but they did not allow for 6 feet from the line next to it.
All and all I did not feel safe. I did not feel that risk was taken seriously. It was like a rally event of mass people winding thru a dirty place putting people who came for a test and the people involved in the testing at risk greater then if it was thought thru properly. The virus is known to last for various time period depending on the materials it lands on . It can be floating in the air and can be projectiled by force of the large fan that was placed at the first part of the lines that insured that the air would reach everyone in the lines.
Possibly sending infection to all during the long wait to be tested.
I see why this has grown to the pandemic it is.
By shear lack of " mindfulness" (to use a term for not thinking how your actions effect you and others. A trendy word that is not met with concern or action to be a better person in the full intention of the trending word).
I would give this arrangement for testing an "F". With a warning" Do Not Go there"!

Love, love love the Wrangler NFR. Great SECURITY in place, love the free bus shuttle. Would like them to leave around 4 instead of 5 so more time spend to watch band and visit with friends prior to rode0
Third year going for two nights.
Nice lady that tried her best to find solution for my lost ticket, but her boss or manager said no deal. Due no fault of us but NFR website who is the one that send us to a box office to buy tickets and some how did not register at their will call office computers so could NOT reissue my ticket and all tickets were legit
. Eventho we had email proof of money paid for 7 tickets and I had dropped mine some where infront of NFR gear trailer and Prieferd yellow chute outside of Thomas and Mac. So we knew what seat ticket was lost.
This was for Sunday night performance (round 4).December10, 2018.

The Gestapo-style bag checks are more to make sure you don't take money from the facility by bringing in higher-quality food from outside than for your safety. The price gouging inside ruins what could be an outstanding experience.

I was there for the Lee's Liquors tequila and beer tasting event. It was great fun. Music, people, and more tequila than I thought existed. And at least as much beer, though I at least knew there were a lot of beer brewers.
The event was well organized, and the venue was really good. We were set up in the ring around the arena, and it worked well. The bathrooms were clean and placed frequently enough that they were never overwhelmed. Even the parking was more than sufficient and we'll managed. No jams going in or out.
If they manage sporting events this well, it should be a good venue.

Our daughter's college graduation was there, and it was awesome! Parking was free, the stadium was enormous, they put the graduation up on the big screens, and they even had the food places operating as well as lots of booths to buy flowers, leis, etc for the graduates. Also, the air temp was very comfortable. I bet the graduates were a little warm with their polyester robes, though.

I saw a show here and WOW!

I saw a show here and WOW!

I was blown away by the experience. My only reason for giving 4 instead of five is I feel they are way overpriced for a lot of the stuff they provide. Oh well.

Oh and the staff was rude. But pretty good aside from that!

I really would like to see the place redone. I don't see a need for all of the seating. It would be nice for some more room and bigger seats that aren't so cramped. A place to put a drink would be nice. Not packed in like sardines.
