Hi, I have visited so many places to buy right kind of mattresses. But I was totally confused due to mush room like mattresses companies giving various promises. I got quote from various well known mattresses brands. But fortunately I got know about Universal mattresses, Royapettah and visited them. Both Mr. Abdul and Raheem lucidly explained various nature of the products, types etc. Their way of explaining things in lay man language, their transparency both in explaining quality and price impressed me a lot. Great Guys. Though I have rich experience in marketing and customer dealing I learned a lot from them. I have purchased right quality mattresses 3 numbers and mattresses protectors. They have all varieties of the mattresses depending on your need and affordability. They are not pushing the products with false promises. Worth visiting. I strongly recommend visiting and buying mattresses from them even without knowing anything about mattresses.

Delivery is not on time. Placed order on Friday and sales person told can be delivered next day but no call or update until I called them on monday evening.

When you place order please get the date and Time of delivery written and confirmed in the order confirmation form.

Thorough with product details. Do not push the higher price ones, actually listen to need of consumers & advise.

It was my pleasure to buy an Amara Infinity Mattress, a brand I could not find elsewhere, none of the other major brands/retailers in the Royapettah Area have mattresses manufactured with Natural Latex.

Now unless you're a Yogi and doing some Sadhana to get away with two hours of sleep and still feel ecstatic all day long, you'd want to get that eight hours of sleep as the doctors suggest, that's big pharma law, and I am pursuing a career in medicine in the US so I can comment with certain clarity. Hence, the mattress I got is a great investment came with a five year replacement warranty and over a 20 year period cost me Rs 5.57 per night, this price is Mattress and Pillow with the Terry Cotton Protector. And the Managing Partner was kind enough to explain to me to that the only maintainance I needed to do was to replace the mattress protector every 6-7 years. Such effort to sell the product definitely deserves a thumbs up, my personal understanding of life, 130+ crores gods and goddesses on the subcontinent, one of the fastest growing economy, well these gods and goddesses deserve the best sleep possible in a consumer scene or else why be part of free market economics. Great service rendered.

I purchased a king sized mattress from Universal mattress two years ago. It was a good purchase and I remain back pain free. Sales person was ( Mr. Saleem) was very patient in explaining every detail of various mattresses!
And again bought one recently from them!

I found the place thru Google search. Called up the folks for a mattress for my mom and dad. The sales person was understanding and responsive and also suggested what is best for my needs.

They also have a good variety.

Service is good. The mattress delivered on time. Sales person came to our house with sample. We bought a 'Amara Latex' mattress. It is too early to comment on the quality of the product. However, if you are looking for a firm mattress for orthopedic purpose, this may not be the right one. It is more on the softer side. The sales person did not have much idea about the firmness number/index on firmness scale, so could not tell us properly. Behavior and customer service wise quite good.

I was struggling to find a mattress even after a week research over internet and visiting couple of mattress stores around Chennai. Finally found Universal Mattress on Google and visited the store in-person.

It was a brilliant experience. Met Sathish, I believe he was the first person to understand what I was really looking for in the whole search and He helped me narrow down my search with 3 options which was very satisfying. Even cost wise it was 25% to 30% comparitively less than the online store.
