Proud to have earned my PhD at UT Austin, and in 2012, named a Distinguished Graduate of the Community College Leadership Program. Great school, high quality academic rigor. Excellent faculty, staff, students, curriculum, support and facilities. I highly recommend UT to future scholars. Hook em' Horns!

We have visited the University of Texas at Austin with my son in the month of July '17.
It a very big complex. My son explained the various facilities available at the University.

Clean nice campus. Saw the James Turrell Skyspace here. Definitely a must!

This place makes me wish I was a student again, and I had gone here. They are amazingly liberal, have some of the best facilities in the world and the campus and its surrounding area is really beautiful. A lot of the facilities are open to the public, which is a really great thing for someone living in the city.

The University of Texas at Austin (UT, UT Austin, or Texas) is a public research university and the flagship institution of the University of Texas System. Visited the campus with my kids. Excellent facility and great campus.

As a student at UT, all I have to say is that this school is the best. All staff and professors really care for everyone on campus. Also, safety for all is priority; UT police will come to the rescue soon. What starts at UT does changes the world.

This place is a city all by itself. There is a lot to see and a lot to do. It's not my favorite college though, it's really about the people. Some kind of arrogance in the air.

Although I didn't attend college at UT I worked there for a few years. I really enjoyed my walks around campus and a few fun times at the student union. Parking is a nightmare, even if you work on the campus it's usually best to bike or ride public transit in.

It's a good school, with the atmosphere of quiet and serious.

Too big for its breeches. They don't care about the students and treat them as a source of income rather than young people to be molded into good citizens. They see themselves as a business that needs to be ever expanding and not as a school. Class quality is incredibly uneven. The school will always take the side of a bad professor rather than investigate a problem. The financial office uses threats and sarcasm when speaking to poorer students.

A well rated university but most of the students from there I have had to work with were mediocre at best.

Loved my time there. The campus is very big (but not overwhelmingly so), and one can walk to most classes in 10-15 minutes. Many choices of places to eat, either on the Drag or on the several dining rooms across campus. Only complaint about the campus itself is parking (which is either difficult to find or far away but always expensive, nonetheless), and the never-ending construction on campus, which can be quite an annoyance sometimes due to the route disruption or noise. Hook 'em!

This is absolutly the worst university ever! students are harrassed and i can almost say that a kid dies everyday so this is a terrible place to go too! They allso dont teach english

I don't like this school and I'm a student here. Too many people gets annoying after a while =( and math/science courses are generally very hard. Hate to see all the Business kids relaxing all the time.

Luxurious building with beautiful architecture. Well-groomed area. I can not judge the quality of training.

This is one of the top public schools in the US. They have an incredible philosophy department, and they're located right in the center of downtown Austin. It's a great combination of higher learning and college experience. And the football team isn't half bad either.

I love UT! I am in McCombs & the College of Natural Sciences, and my classes are interesting and informative. There are tons of clubs to join, Austin is a fun city, and UT really helps students prepare for and get a job upon graduation.

This is probably the best public college in the U.S in my opinion. Plus, I live in Austin, TX with this huge school in the middle of downtown.

I graduated from UT in 2013 with a major in Advertising. UT has a top Ad program, so I was very lucky to go there. It has a rigorous curriculum, but I graduated confident about going into the workforce. My overall experience was great! I would recommend it to anyway - football days, tailgates, Town Lake runs, great nightlife, dedicated professors, diverse student body, etc. There are a few setbacks though. For example, as an underclassmen, most classes are lecture classes, so you might get lost among the numbers. But you have to make the most out of the experience and seek for opportunities to succeed. Real estate in Austin is higher than average, so it might be a little expensive to live here. But this shouldn't deter anyway from going there. Hook 'Em, Horns!

One of the ugliest universities I have ever been to. Just way to crowded and there's no uniformity to the school at all.

The attack on Charlottesville by a horrendous individual and the terrible group he represents was tragic and unjust. But this statue nonsense is just stupid. Yes, they're a depiction of people from a dark time in American history, but again, it's HISTORY. Not all of it was peachy and nice! There were shameful, messy, and downright wrong periods in our history. We were never a perfect country, especially not then. History depicts the facts of the past, and those statues are some of them. You record and LEARN from the past, not remove the evidence and hide from it. Show and teach kids the meaning of those statues. Let them learn how wrong we were. If you take those statues down, at least stick them in a museum or something.

A nice university, cool grounds, and lots of events. You can usually find fun stuff going on.

Great University in a great city. What I learned here made me become successful in work and life.

I love being a longhorn. This school is amazing. Austin is beautiful. It's basically a hippie college town. The only downside for me is it's full of frat and sororities. That scene is too clique-y for me.

Beautiful campus, but way too liberal. If you want your kid to end up a liberal hippy, send them here.

The best university I've been to just to visit and look around. It is a very big university, beautiful girls, nice campus.

The University of Texas at Austin is amazing in many ways, with very few drawbacks in others. The quality of education is top notch for a public school, with opportunities for students to take full advantage of their college career and excel in both academics and life. The only drawbacks are long walking distances over a spread out area, however UT is reasonable with this issue and provides transportation to students with their school ID's. HOOK 'EM HORNS!!!!

Scenic, walkable campus oozes charm, history and fierce school spirit.

Highlights include the tower, or "main building," the Darrell K Royal football stadium, Guadalupe Street's hip-ish Drag and, not least of all, one of America's most naturally attractive student bodies.

Now, if they could just Hook'em-those academics. (^^)

As an alumni, I always love to go back to campus. We were there for the high school state track meet.

If you ever visit Austin and never been to the University of Texas campus I suggest you take an hour or two out of your day for a visit. The campus is not only very large (over 40 acres now), but it is also very beautiful. Don't blink though as they keep adding taller and prettier buildings every year.

UTSA is way better than UT Austin. UT Austin is getting too crowded and people are rude as well. U-T-S-A!!! Fight! Fight! Fight! GO RUNNERS!!!!

One of the best universities in the nation spread across 40+ acres. You have a lot of restaurants to explore inside/just off the campus.

The guys dress like 60 year old retired men and the girls dress like they robbed biggie smalls pajama closet. It's unnerving. It may sound crazy but if I were not already graduated from college and was looking, it would be a deal breaker for me.
