Beautiful gardens. Very informative and educational tour curated by a attentive and proud staff. Amazing visit.

I went here years ago with my mom. My mom's sister came to town and wanted to see botanic gardens so we brought the family. Had a fantastic time.

Nice to see all the plants from around the world. In the winter, some places are closed down. But it overall is quite nice.

The Botanic gardens is a great place to learn about plants and ecology from around the world. Lots of photo opportunities with lots of flowers. If you are lucky you might spot a butterfly or two! A couple of hours to have a look round

Lovely quiet serene surroundings. All plants were lovely. Check out those orchids.

An amazing experience to see this indoor garden. You won't expect how beautiful the plants can be from the out-side of this building.

Nice for a quick visit. Not many exhibits but still fun to look around.

Loved the different flora and the environments. During Christmas, they have an amazing Christmas tree exhibit.

Great botanical gardens! Paths we're narrow which led to overcrowding at some if the most interesting items to see. Would avoid a weekend visit if possible.

A quiet beautiful place to sit and walk. Staff are friendly. Bathrooms are at the back of the greenhouse. There is a place to fill your water bottle. I was inspired by the dry climate plant display & the pollinators.

Beautiful flowers and plants, everything labelled for easy identification, and kids can plant a flower. The catwalk above the rain forest section and the log bridge through it were a big hit. Free admission.

Was beautiful but some of the plants were fake. Definitely could've been more explanation or information about some of the plants

Superb greenhouses! Too bad there is no shop for gardeners.

Parking was easy to get, and the place was overall amazing.

This is a must visit if you are going to the east end of the mall. They let you bring tripods in if you ask in advance and there are lots of great subjects for the avid photographer.

We went to see the corpse flowers, not knowing that they only bloom once every few years, and it happens randomly. So, if you're going for the flowers, it's all luck... BUT, it's still a great place to visit. There are lots of flowers and you can go to the second floor of the main garden and get a nice aerial view. We were going to spend half an hour, but ended up spending just above an hour there.

I visited the botanic garden for the first time this December. I didn t know what to expect during the winter, but i has a great time! They had holiday plants and decorations up, a train room and lots of tropical plants as well. In the main entrance they had iconic DC monuments and buildings made out of twigs, acorns, etc. (see pictures) My favorite was the orchid room. I went on a weekday and it was the perfect time to go - no crowds at all. Highly recommend!!

This place is absolutely beautiful. Try coming here during the weekday. Less people and you can truly enjoy and relax.

must-see...More green than the variety of colors I was expecting but it was still a really nice place to go. Definitely worth walking through and wasn't that crowded for a Saturday before lunch time. Mini bazaars are fine looking coffee bar and cute gift shop: selling coffee travel mugs, appropriately, along with botanical logo print aprons and tea towels, scented candles, and so on!

Oasis in the hectic Mall. Take your time, rest, smell, look closely.

Varieties of different plants in one place, section by section and plants are well taken care off. Very educational. Great place for kids they can see and learn new plants big and small.

Being able to see the flora of different regions, countries, and continents all in one place is convenient. It serves as a reminder of the places I've travelled to as well.

Amazing building. There is an elevated walkway that allows you to get a better view of the plants from above.

It was a cool experience, and smelled GREAT. Make sure to get the audio tour instructions so you can follow along on your cell as you walk

I was blown away by the variety of plants in this garden, which has multiple sections, each representing a different region or theme. One of the plants would retract its leaves when you touched them!

The outside is just ok, but the indoor green house is wonderful!! I stongly suggest you give the inside about 1 hour. The AC areas are greatly appreciated!
