A symbol of hope where the lost ideals of cooperation and understanding still endure.
Large and well located in the heart of Manatthan by the sea. You can visit other historical sites
Friendly and well-prepared guided guide. Cozy rooms, well furnished and friendly and professional staff.
To visit. It is a memorable experience to be walking next to diplomats and enjoy the corridors and various conference rooms. The GA main conference room is a must along with the Security council room. Wars have been raged in this building and it is worth the visit
United Nations headquarters, seen many times on television, in fact from the real and much less "big" undoubtedly a place to visit if you visit New York! Well stocked with services nearby there restaurants
If you are in NYC and have time this is a must visit. Definitely book one of the tours in advance from the website. Make sure to get there early as you have to check in across the road in a separate building first and ensure you have your passport.
The tour is very informative and it's great to see everything in person that you see on TV. It also gives you an appreciation and better understanding of everything the UN does.
After the tour it finishes near some gift shops that sell items from all the member states and a great cafe. We really enjoyed and spent a few hours after the tour just walking about and looking at all the various displays etc. Once you are in as a guest and after the tour ends you can stay for as long as you like essential (or at least until it closes lol).
Plenty of great photo ops aswell. Definitely an A+.
a very good and productive visit, the tours were very well planned and the cafe at the basement was very good!
Interesting place, the Spanish guide was really bad..
A place to stay in memory!
How much important information!
It's always good to know places like this. These are visits that broaden our horizons.
Great for travelers who wants some piece of history
Just a visit to a historic place is a place that impresses.
There are no places to look around, but it is important that the place you saw in the news is in front of you.
In particular, I thought that if I visited with the children, I would give them a big dream.
Recommended if you are traveling to New York
It's worth visiting. It's free but you have to register in an office opposite.
It's a very majestic place to be at. The inside is beautifully designed. Well secured. Perfect place for forums.
Fun to take the tour, Got to see live meetings and we had a very knowledgeable guide
Me and my family had a great time on our United Nations tour and it was the highlight of our visit to New York City. I can't say enough about our tour guide at the UN...very impressed with her depth of knowledge and passion for the history of the UN and keeping my teenagers engrossed was a monumental feat. The kids wanted to leave halfway through the Knicks Cavs game that night, but they're still talking about their UN tour.
Everyone should be aware of what is done in this place. This organization should have more power.
You can get inside for free, to do this, you must first register across the street from the entrance, then go back and pass a security check. Excursion to meeting rooms, etc. ~ $ 20
United Nations Headquarters is a beautiful building. You can take a tour and grab a meal on the 10th floor food court. The grounds are amazing. Flags representing the world community of nations on site lend a backdrop to the hard work the General Assembly has attempting to bring peace and order to a turbulent world. It is a sight to behold, and the area is surrounded with hotels, restaurants, shops of all kinds. Public transportation abounds. Highly recommend a visit.
Very interesting to look at the UN building from inside, we were there for UNGA 2019, but before the main program ran.
UN Headquarters which you can enter by applying for visitor pass in a ticket place just across the street from the building.
Nice. But unfortunately you can't enter the dining room
Beautiful place, but on the day I went, not all the sculptures in the garden were accessible. The Tour is worth it, be sure to do it!
Shut this anti Israel and anti American UN DOWN !!!!
If you're lucky you'll be able to see all the chambers on a guided tour
I love the security of this building. You can feel 100% safe going into one of the most important buildings globally. It is a great sight to visit in NYC
Great place to visit if you are in NYC for a few days!
A nation in itself. Book a tour and access information for historical and educational purposes. Mind blowing
A learning space with friendly people and a great bookstore!
There is a separate Korean tour, so it is recommended that you apply in advance on the homepage. The person in charge explained the activities and the significance of the international organization in an easy-to-understand manner. I went unexpectedly and it was a memorable experience.
Come visit New York
There is also a Korean tour.
Get an introduction to the international role of the United Nations,
So inspiring. Definitely take the childrens tour if youre a beginner.
The tour was very interesting and great selection of places to visit
The guided tour is interesting. Unfortunately, few languages available. Price a bit 'high for the duration of the visit (about 1 hour for 20 dollars).
Haven't been inside yet, but from the outside, it gives you that majestic feeling. So much history associated with it.
I haven't been inside, but the outside is pretty nice. The UN, however, isn't very good.
Personally I expected something more from the guided tour, the facilities are acceptable
This place bring peace, It makes me think of a better world
Very informative tourists tour. Great place to spend useful time in NY. Don t forget to stop and take some memorable photos. You don t want to miss it!
Good place to visit, during the weekend there's not much to see. Only worth it if you go during the week.
I participated in a guided tour led by a very competent Swede. We had the opportunity to get inside the assembly, as well as in the hall of the Security Council (both from the gallery)
There are many interesting exhibits from all countries to see. Anyone who has an interest in history is absolutely in the right place.
Absolute recommendation!
A historical site with iconic buildings. Avoid this area during the UN general assembly in September because of water tight security and heavy traffic
Take a tour through history and across 193 countries!
Beautiful building, great location but no parking. Only parking g lots. $$$! Plenty of traffic and people all around. Fantastic architecture all around. Fabulous spots to see. Great food places. You shouldn't miss it.
As Otumfou Kotokohene delivered a speech of Traditional Peace is solving disputes. Okatakyiee was in attendance. God bless the King!!!.
Very interesting place to visit. Prior registration is required from the other side of the street. We did very well.
This was awesome to see. We did hgt take a tour but just visited the grounds and the gift shop. It's pretty easy to get a visitors pass. We were concerned about lines but didn't encounter any.
Nice view from the very location. Beautiful buildings opposite - the architecture of the first half of the last century, special buildings. From the side of the headquarters, you can see the famous Roosevelt Island. It is home to the famous park of 4 freedoms, as well as the famous abandoned hospital Smallpox Hospital, built in neo-Gothic style.
The tour is very interesting. Be sure to book online a few days in advance.
First security check, even unopened bottled mineral water is not allowed to bring in, employees can bring coffee & beverages! !
A brief overview of what the U.N. is meant to do if not for the intransigence of the permanent members of the Security Council. Stunning building
The most famous place in the world that you always miss
interesting building but imperative to learn about the schedules of the guided tours before coming
The only caveat for people who would want to take a guided tour - Avoid weekends!
