If you are in NYC and have time this is a must visit. Definitely book one of the tours in advance from the website. Make sure to get there early as you have to check in across the road in a separate building first and ensure you have your passport.

The tour is very informative and it's great to see everything in person that you see on TV. It also gives you an appreciation and better understanding of everything the UN does.

After the tour it finishes near some gift shops that sell items from all the member states and a great cafe. We really enjoyed and spent a few hours after the tour just walking about and looking at all the various displays etc. Once you are in as a guest and after the tour ends you can stay for as long as you like essential (or at least until it closes lol).

Plenty of great photo ops aswell. Definitely an A+.
