A must see if you are in town!

Adults tickets ($30) worth it. The begin of London City and a lot of United Kingdom history in one place.

Well conserved structures, crown jewelleries and much more.

A such lovely time. Strong recommend for kids as well.

This is a must when visiting London! I have been there twice and would love to go again if I make it back to England. The history is outstanding. Be sure to go with one of the guided tours. They are very informational and funny and do not cost extra! This I absolutely recommend to anyone.

Yes this place is a bit pricey, busy, and you do wait in lines, but what you have the opportunity to see is history that is one of a kind. I highly recommend visiting to see and learn about the castle. Highly recommend seeing the royal jewels.

This place is incredible and jus the history is amazing. We walked around it and then sat down on benches to watch the waterway and the people. You can purchase tickets to go inside but we didn t have enough time. It s worth the trip to read the signs on the outside because they go on-depth about its history.

Expensive and crowded on a cold rainy Monday April- yet as a tourist -this place brought home ancient history. As a fan of Lady Grey tea, of course wanted to see the place of Lady Janes beheading. I enjoyed riverside view of Thames from the walkways more than the famed Crown Jewels. Do not plan to return though, once is quite enough.

Absolutely incredible experience. A must do when in London. Get there early. Allow more time than you think you will need when visiting as amazing history is around every corner and there are a lot of corners ! The crown jewels display is just breathtaking.

Great educational visit, many of the children hadn't been here before and they throughly enjoyed it. Staff were fantastic. Even though it was a rainy day still loads to do and plenty of places to stay dry.

Quite overrated and expensive in my opinion. It's basically a collection of small, seemingly unrelated, museums. The buildings themselves (especially the central White Tower) are nice but not that impressive compared to St Paul's, the houses or parliament etc. The most popular section is the crown jewels. Expect queues for this on a busy day and a long 'hype' line before you actually get to see the jewles, which I felt were underwhelming. There is a tiny but interesting museum section on torture, and another on animals that have been kept in the tower. But overall, I'd recommend avoiding the Tower Of London unless you have already visited the impressive buildings mentioned previously and been to some of London's great free museums like the British Museum.

Excellent day out for all the family. A little bit pricey but a full days entertainment. It has something for everybody. Its steeped in history. All the staff are really knowledgeable and really helpful. It can get a little crowded and be prepared for a wait if you want to see the crown jewels. There is so much to see you need all day there.

We didn't actually go into the Tower but had lunch at "EAT", next to the Tower. We also took the boat for our river cruise from the Tower pier. All in all a wonderful experience. Seeing London while cruising up and down The Thames was awesome - particularly seeing and getting to know all the bridges.

Well, how can I rate such a historic place other than excellent? Well worth a visit. Each wall and room has hundreds of years of history. Get the audio tour to get more context. The crown jewels took my breath away.

After queuing for an hour in the pouring rain to see the crown jewels. Very dissapointed to see only the main crowns and not the original jewellery which used to be shown which the present queens crown

Doing and reading everything the Tower of London has to offer will easily take over 4 hours especially if it's crowded. Lots to do, tons of history here. If you buy your ticket online don't forget to print it out.

Way overpriced unfortunately for what you see. It felt like it should have been a free attraction for what was there. I would not recommend wasting your money. The Queens jewels were the only highlight and you can't see much in the room anyway because it's so crowded.

Excluding the history of the place and the crown jewelles, there s really not much to see. Many rooms are 98% for kids and have just the walls left. The torture area is practically non-existent.

Great place to see. Lots of things to see inside including the Queen's jewels. My suggestion is do everything as early as possible in the day. After you will find queues for everything. You will need at least half a day to see it. If the queues start then you will probably need the full day. There is a nice and big cafeteria where you can get food and drinks and there is plenty of room to sit down.

Excellent day out. Purchased ticket from Hampton Court Palace which lasts for a year and gets us into Tower of London amongst other palaces. Very well worth the day out. Educational for the kids too with many activities on throughout the day. Comfy shoes and warm coat recommended. Nice cafe but not cheap. Own picnic is much easier. Get there for when it opens, 0900, then you don't have to queue for the Crown Jewels. Can wander past them a few times. When we were leaving the queue for this was huge!!!!

Reviewing as a Londoner, I d say that if you love being neck deep in hordes of tourists and spending outrageous sums of money then go for it.....otherwise it s best enjoyed from Wikipedia or a TV documentary and then photographed from the outside.

Or if you are in possession of a time machine then head back to the early 1980s and you won t be bombarded by tourists or charged a fortune to enter.

Best enjoyed from the river also.....providing its not raining.

Wow. Where to begin? Uh, so castle built in 1066, great stories, haunted vibes, shady hangings, lots of history. The crown jewels are actually worth a look, although be prepared to face huge queues there.

I went to the tower for a special evening event. Entry was simple and well signed. Queuing managed effectively.

We had an amazing day the weather was beautiful and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. They put on plays every half hour for the children and all parents to join in. Our history for this country/ heritage is so beautiful makes me feel proud to be British.
Going into the crown jewel section was the best part of the day for me. The children enjoyed the Bloody Tower and the story behind it. I recommend everyone to go it only has taken me 40 odd years to go don't leave it that long.

Great service, great staff right from front of house to waiting staff brilliant,! Excellent location you can see Tower of London and Tower Bridge could not sit outside due to inclement weather. Had the prawns and squid for starters that had been cooked I. A very light batter delicious, main was seabass lovely for dessert we had cheese now in some restaurants which we witnessed recently there were two thin slices of cheese the Ivy give you a large portion of breads and biscuits with 3 different generous portions of cheese easily one between two would have sufficed so we asked for a doggy bag to take home

What a place. Gold and blood. Diamonds and armors. Decapitations and love. Death and power. Tears, screams and courage. One place.

And do not ignore Ravens. Must see. Must tiktok.

But being lil more serious, it's superb location for all. Photogenic, with good amount of satellite stories. Right for kids. But there is no place to leave backpack or any other luggage. So do not try to accomplish this tourist achievement with anything you can't hold with easy for a few hours.

One of my favorite London experiences! So much history to see! So many adorable gift shops! The Raven one has a squished pwnny machine. Plan on spending at least 3 hours here. Don't miss the tour of the church! Our tour guide/member of the Palace Guard was funny and informative. Go to the crown jewels first thing or there will be a significant line.

Definitely worth a visit -gives a glimpse into life in midieval times and the lineage of Norman Kings. Instructive and interesting displays, as well as great views of the surrounding landmarks.

It takes a half-day to truly take in everything this site has to offer.

There is a lot of interesting history here, but crowds and long lines prevented me from really seeing it all. The wait to see the crown jewels was over an hour, waiting in a line outside on a hot day! While this was an interesting and informative visit, I would not do it again. Walk around the outside, read the informational signs, and don't bother going inside unless you really want to.

Took the advice of some tour books I read beforehand and got there first thing in the morning (purchased my ticket online). Headed straight for the crown jewels to avoid lines that would soon form, then took the beefeater tour, which was amusingly given by celebrity guide Alan Skaife, aka Ravenmaster, then did a tour (actually a one-on-one Q&A since no one else attended) of the white tower, then some free roaming. A pretty good solo itinerary which still took over 2 hours. I think 3 hours would have been comprehensive, but I had other places to go and the crowds were getting thick. Pretty compulsory for a London visit.

Awesome visit. This place is packed with things to see. It s a bit pricey so buy online to save a few pounds. There is a lot to see so it is worth the price of admission. Make sure to go early and see the crown jewels first. That will help you avoid the line which can get extremely long.

Tower is an awesome medieval fortress. I've never been in there because it was always overcrowded there so I'd rather went around it and enjoyed the look and the atmosphere which is on high level. You can go to Tower Bridge and to opposite site over the River where is nice view to the fortress as well.

Worth it, but budget at least a full day or more during high tourist season. Its a full castle/villiage compound complete with moat, not just a tower. We had to skip the crown jewels because of the 3 hour line. Some stuff is a little cheesy, but there's no denying the history here. The White tower is awesome. We also chatted with a 'beefeater' and learned some really cool info you'd never find in a guide, like what it's like to live there and what the ravens are like in person (apparently they are not happy birds by nature).
