Years and years of history are in front of your eyes when you walk along the old stones, when you enter the halls, when you admire the Crown Jewelry, when you shake of fear into the prisons... A must to see!

From here you can view the London Bridge and snap a few good photos. With very little time, I did not go inside the tower, but it is advertised that the visitor can view largest diamond in the world which attached to the queen's crown. Plenty of fast food around. Nearby toilets entrance fee is 50 pences.

Wonderful historical site with multiple buildings. Allow a minimum of 3 hours to explore but ideally longer if you can. Crown Jewels are stunning, changing of the guard is fun to watch and looking at all of the different genres of uniforms was very interesting. A great day out for the family, more suitable for older children to appreciate all on offer.

The best way to visit the Tower is by river. You get dropped off right by the entrance and you get the best possible view of the castle.

It is a tourist trap, no doubt. That said, they have done a brilliant in making the staff feel integral to the experience. Impromptu performances are a must. Don't play it cool and ignore them, join the crowd and get a good view.

The armoury is great if you like weapons. But it is spoilt somewhat by everyone taking selfies in front of everything. But that's how it goes now.

The crown jewels nearly always have a queue, toilets are awkwardly positioned - so use them when you get a chance.

An incredible bit of living history! I would recommend leaving enough time for at least a half day here. There's so much to see and the lines for the more popular exhibits can get quite long; especially the Crown Jewels.

This is a venue that is engaging for all ages. Highly for me were the crown jewels and for my granddaughters, aged 7 and 4, it was Knight School which kept them entertained for nearly two hours. Staff were very friendly especially the More

went to the Tower of London for the day and although it was in December the sun was bright and we had a very nice day, we had a tour by one of the Yeoman Wardens and it was very informative and entertaining we went around a large part of the Castle and grounds and we saw the Armouries display in the White Tower and went in to see the Crown Jewels which are impressive I would recommend it to any body for a day out

Was a little disappointed with crown jewels
Not many and too fast .By the time that i read the information I was 1/2way down to the next one .4 hours well spent did enjoy. Would of liked a bit more readable history .

At first I thought the price here was a lot and without the London pass we probably wouldn't have gone but how wrong could I be!! Once in there is so much to see you could easily spend a whole day here and it's worth every penny. Crown jewels was my favourite part and we didn't queue for anything. There's probably so much there we didn't get to see and id 100% go back

What a wonderful display of English history. It was spoilt a bit by many of the visitors, especially those with younger children, who were not interested in history, getting bored and not following the safety social distancing rules and well thought out 1 way systems, this being worse during the later part of the afternoon when the Tower was at maximum capacity. This place is not a good day out for youngsters or teenagers with vital social life or death social media to deal with!!

A wonderful part of our heritage. Displays etc were very well laid out, no rushing along. Queues were not too bad to see the Crown Jewels although visitor numbers were restricted under Covid 19 conditions.
Not cheap to visit but worth the cost in my opinion.

I have booked a slot as soon as they reopened and it was very enjoyable as there were no queues, no overcrowded spots. Everything is organized so it goes in one direction. Some parts that would normally be open were closed for safety reasons but they are working on reopening them soon. Nevertheless, what is worth seeing is accessible. Loved it! Great experience, almost surreal to be there with just few people around.

The Tower of London is a must see. The experience is what you make it as you walk through the different buildings. I imagine during peak tourist season some of the rooms to be difficult getting through. I would plan on spending about 2 hours here. The queens jewels are pretty cool too.

After seeing countless castles on our tour across the UK, this one blended into the others with very few distinguishing features. But there were two characteristics that proved most memorable. Viewing the Crown Jewels, the same that adorn modern kings and queens, was just as impressive now as they were when I first saw them in 1985.The other aspect worth the effort was the spectacular view of iconic Tower Bridge from the most photogenic angle.

Brilliant! Please plan on spending half a day to walk through it. Then go get lunch somewhere awesome and come back for the other half of the day. It is impossible to see and remember this amazing historical site in a morning. Take time to dream of night time invasions, burning oil, treachery and defending arrow slits before venturing away to the next piece of history.

Loved getting to tour this amazing piece of history. So much history in this castle. If you are a lover of history, it's a must stop. Our children loved seeing the sites and hearing all the history amongst the walls. If only the walls could talk!!

Great tourist attraction but beware of pickpockets around the entrance and riverside, 5 young Romanian gypsies asking you to sign a petition while others are dipping your pockets and bags

Nice atmosphere and quite educational and interesting to find out more about the monarchy. Remember to buy the tickets online or go for group tickets at the ticket counters to save a few pounds. Grab yourself a coffee while queuing up for the Crown Jewels.

Haven't been inside but definitely a suggestive place two meters from tower bridge. One of the remanings of a medieval London in the middle of the City. Surrounded by skyscrapers the castles looks pretty small but it's actually of considerable size. It contains the jewels of the queen

The Quintessential London visit. Not to be missed. Must join a Yeoman warders tour! Must see the crown jewels. The staff are helpful and considerate with mobility challenged individuals. They love to answer questions and educate you. The cobbles are tricky underfoot and there are many steps to access the different areas. The white tower has a mobility lift but only to access the shop downstairs which is not terribly useful. However overall it's well worth the effort if just to watch the Ravens play and gobble their meat.

This was much better than anticipated; we spent 4 hours with kids, and could have spent 2 more. Go to the website and order tickets, pick them up at the group kiosk, it was very easy and quick. Waited 2 minutes on a Friday morning to enter and waited 20 minutes to see crown jewels. Definitely catch a Beefeater tour (they are free and run every 30 minutes or so). It was very clean and well organized with easy, accessible restrooms.

So much history, so many stories of significant past events that shaped the UK, from the 12th century until today it is a fascinating place, the kids will love the gory details and the mystery of the 'princes in the tower' The yoman warders are genial and clearly love their career, always know something interesting and find time for anyone who wants it.

The second seismic even in the history of the island since Roman time - the Norman invasion. They brought technology, culture, record keeping, system of administration, etc. The descendants of the Picts and Anglo-Saxons still can t handle the enormous civilizing force of the Normans. They want to downplay the importance of the Normans. It was shocking to hear this tune from the curator. This is an extraordinary example of that magnificent era. Full of history and forlorn and brutal events, like Gruffydd, Anne Boleyn, Thomas More. The ticket office staff and curators are very helpful.

If you take time, you can travel into history and feel Royal history. Some of things happened here are heart touching. Remember to spend a full day here to soak in the Royal history of Britain for the last thousand years.

Expensive. Incredible history. 3+ hour wait to see queen's jewels. Other than the problem seeing the jewels (star reducer) it is worth the time. The armouries were awesome. Lots to see and do once you are in inside. A few pricey and tacky gift shops. Long lines at the loo.
