So help full..so straight forward... good thinkong..

Most unprofessional person I have dealt with. She charged me twice for 30 mins unprofessional consultation. She don t have any knowledge of her subject. Would never recommend her to anyone. Please avoid. All she knows about earning from poor consultation.

My experience with Uma Attorney has always been great. she is very knowledgeable and experience on my visa issue. She always given me the proper advice when I needed, felt like she has complete control on my issue.
Staff is very great, they are also in constant communication with you so that you know when things are happening, which is again a big difference from my experience with other lawyers. I would recommend her for any immigration issues.

She is not trustworthy at all. She will listen to your problem when you visit for the first time. After you make the payment, she will not respond to your email, calls or anything. So many people have suffered from her carelessness. Its Obvious that all the positive reviews from two weeks ago are from her friends and family coz it s posted at the same time. Please avoid this person. You will thank me later. God bless us from people like her who tries to take advantage of helpless people.

I agree with most reviews posted online as they are right.. 100% . I heard about her on a desi radio and went to get assistance to file paperwork for my husband and she made it so difficult for us. She took our money plus kept all the paper work I submitted.

I wish i could give her -5 star.
At first She seems like professional and polite, But after payment wow, it was like totally different office. Horrible services, She never respond after getting her fees. She has never done her work in properly manners. Always wait for the deadline to process the case ( nice trick to charge extra ) lot of hidden charges. Really unprofessional and lake of knowledge. Uma is the worst lawyer and person i have ever met.I would never recommend anyone to waste their money, most importantly time and their case. Radio is the best place to catch her not the law office, Fake advertisement on Radio only attracting people to earn their business. Please don t visit this fake lawyer otherwise you gonna regret rest of your life.

At first She was great, discussed my case in details and provided expert review. However, after payment, it was like totally different attorney. Let me list down some points for those who are considering hiring her for their visa:

1. She never met me after the contract, all correspondence was done through her secretary! i hired her, not her secretary!

2. She deviated from the signed contract, she knew i am desperate and she exploited it!

3. There are HIDDEN charges which she will mention later stage of process when you are badly stuck. At the last minute of your submission, she will reveal some new charges and you will be left with no other choice but to pay her.

4. Very lazy (In fact clever trick). I submitted her my docs for submission, there was 1 month remaining in govt submission. She didn't do do anything till last week!! In that time she told me some hidden charges, and i was stuck because there wasn't enough time to go to other attorney.

5. Even her staff cannot tolerate her. No one stays with her more than 2-3 months.

I normally never write reviews but this bad experience compelled me to write something to warn others.

Please don t waste your money or time with her. Very unprofessional, always late.
After she get her money, she does not care about the clients.
Called her office and left messages so many times she never calls back.

She is only stealing money from people, and unprofessional

I have dealt with Uma Ji for many years including my family and other friends. Our case was very very difficult and we had spent thousands of dollars with other attorney's. Once she took the case, she explained everything which other lawyers did not have the knowledge or experience. I am a Muslim and I have never been treated any differently... She is an honest, experienced and extremely experienced ....if someone did not want to pay her fees and write wrong things, that is bad.. no one work free in America

She is a liar. She took my husbands money and never did her work. When we call she is never available. And finally when we get hold of her she has attitude and will blame us. She never accepts her mistake. Because of her carelessness we do not know what to do with our case at this point. She kept us in limbo for more than a year. She needs to be punished for what she is doing. Her law license should be revoked. Uma you are disgrace to your profession. Karma will come to you. It s coming from a person who is suffering just because of your carelessness.

One of the worst decisions I made in my entire life was to hire Uma. She has left me in a much worse position than I could have imagined due to her lies and procrastination. She told me she has submitted my document and I found out months later that she had never done anything except lying. Once I gave her the last payment she withdrew from my case the same day. She gave me a lot of hopes but in return she took away the few hope I had along with my money before I made the mistake of hiring her. Find someone else to take care of your stuff instead of repeating the mistake I made.

This attorney is one of the worst one on this Planet.Her only motto is steal money from people and she is in a profession where she uses her advocacy to do fraud and get away by stealing peoples money and get away by it and also she uses Blackmail tactics and threats when the clients ask for refund and mess up their case deliberately.Every one should come forward and file a complaint with Ethics Committee and put a joint complain and revoke her License.People be careful about her and her MO OF CHEATING PEOPLE WITH DESTROYING THEIR CASE AND THEN TAKING MONEY AND BLACKMAILING.

Dear friends I humbly request of you to not hire Uma because she s a liar and not responsible. I know Uma since 2012 she tricks and lies on radio to get customers. After she receives the money she does not help you. Her advice is 50 percent wrong. A lot of things she says does not match with immigration. She always loses employees because she s never in the office and makes the poor employees to deal with the clients. Please search there s better lawyers that can help you with your problems. Not just help you but solve your problems as well.

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. She does not respond in time. She missed the deadline and on top of it she will charge you ridiculous amount of money even though she hasn t delivered her work properly. I would never go to her even if she offers her services for free.

She always make her customer at the beginning and she never deal nicely later on. she is not good with muslims peoples. Once you are in a contract with this lady, she will stop responding to your calls or emails. She will not update you on the case status and you'll be left hanging in the middle of nowhere. When we used to ask her to provide us with the copies of documents that she has submitted, she gave us hard times providing them saying that she does not provide the copies to clients. Is that when legal? Can you refuse to provide the copies pertaining to our case? I would not recommend her services.

Uma Mantravadi is an experienced , well informed and judicious attorney. She has been our immigration attorney for several years.

I'm from Nepal. I got my tps processing through her but recently I called her office for three times to get copy of my documents!! I remember how they use to call me when I had to give them the fees and there was a good hospitality also. And it's nothing the same anymore!! She is very bad at her job. Never hire her. She is always on AM-1480 like she is very professional but she is trying to boom her business with fake publicity. Uma is a very professional lawyer. She has been our immigration lawyer for many years and has done an excellent job for our H1B and GC applicants. In the past 7 yrs. we have had not one H1B candidate been rejected for our candidates.
Though we had RFEs just like other employers, they were handled with due diligence not only by her but also by her staff and all RFEs were applied and approved in a timely manner.
She is a die-hard lawyer and has never given up on any candidate no matter where she has to go, either to a local office or to the border to resolve their issues.
If you have not dealt with her professionalism. please do try and you will not regret the services of her and her staff.
