Terrible experience today on the phone with one of the Ultimate Elite plan associates. She gave me and my wife two WRONG answers regarding needing a referral/authorization for a dermatologist here in Florida.
And also for a gynecologist, even tho there is such thing called Well Woman Visits for annual checkups. Both of these specialists do not require a referral/authorization.
This was confirmed to us when a supervisor, Jean, finally came on the phone after a long wait.
I think it's shameful when these /member services associates don't know what they're talking about.

A Very deceiving company/management. Poor customer service, and staff don't really care about people. They talk to you to have you feel sorry for them, and then they lie to you. I would not recommend NOBODY to them. Ms. Ebony I have heard about sooooo many negative things about this company and there staff. I dont understand why the SHAREHOLDERS still allow them to run that office. I was told that its a CUT throat company. Just look at it like this ....they did you a favor, even though were very evil about the way they did you. But what they dont understand that sickness will fall upon them, and they will need a JOB just like you did/do and they will laugh in there face the same way they did you. I know its hard, smile and something better will come your way very soon. Like I said they dont care about people they make believe they do. If they did they could have never did you that way and neither sooooo many ELDERLY PEOPLE THEY LIE TO

After eight months of service, we could not be more pleased. We have the HMO plan and if you follow the rules, it is seamless. Our Doctor, Dr. Khan, is excellent. His staff goes out of their way to make sure you, Dr. Khan, and your health plan are working together. On the very few calls I have made to the Plan, their employees have been professional, knowledgable and extremely helpful. Best of all is the price. No premiums, no co-pays and my Rx. are cheaper than my past plans, $300 vs. $70 for three month supplies and no deductions from my social security check.

I had a bad experience with one of the providers, and one of them was because of dragging your feet on getting approval. You need to get on the ball ultimate.
It seemed to be a lovely place to work until I was wrongfully terminated. I had a heated phone call with my husband on my LUNCH BREAK (my personal time) off business property and another coworker reported it and said it was unprofessional for the company. I also communicated with my manager that I had a camera in my home and would be monitoring my kids and she seemed to be ok with it.
A few days later I am being told I couldn t do that and then a few hrs later I was being fired. They smile in your face and say that YOU RE DOING SO GOOD, WE RE SO HAPPY TO HAVE YOU. Then boom your fired over the smallest things.
The benefit of the over the counter products are a joke. We just received our first shipment which supposedly had a value of $50 and you could literally go to any store and buy the same products for about $15. This is deceptive and false advertising by UHP.
It's a new plan on the East Coast of Florida, so I'm giving them a little slack.
However, there is no excuse for their OTC program's shoddy, over-priced and poor selection and no name brand selection and lack of details about all the products.
As someone else pointed-out, the products they do offer are at least twice the price of retail.
On my recent order, I ordered a roll of surgical tape. At the bottom of the box I found it, just as this photo shows, a roll of tape, uncovered, no packaging and dirty.
I hope this is an oversight and Ultimate works to improve their OTC Program.
