Having wanted to spend his last days at home, we were advised by our family vicar of what an amazing place LOROS is, & to give them a try.
The staff were all so genuine. It's not just a job to them-they truly care about their patients, & each other.
The doctors were open, honest & compassionate about what was likely to happen, which after being kept in the dark for so long, was a relief.
The care & after care for the families is also second to none.
They cater for all diets, welcome all cultures & backgrounds, & have amazing facilities for all kinds of faith practices.

How anyone can rate Lorus and it s staff as anything other than 5 stars beggars belief. The care they have shown to my father and our family over the last month has been so kind. From the nursing staff, the volunteeers, the doctors and the catering staff, it was simply exceptional. Such a fantastic and humane place. I will always be grateful to these people.

My mum passed away at the hospice two weeks ago today and I was so glad she was there for her last five days of her life, they couldn't do enough for mum and her last day they made sure she was comfortable and didn't want for anything.The staff were amazing not only with mum but with us all
