Purchased my wife's engagement ring almost 10 year...
Purchased my wife's engagement ring almost 10 years ago from 77D. Service, quality and price was outstanding at the time.
Recently noticed a small crack starting to form on the underside of the Platinum band. Contacted 77, and spoke to Sarah, who could not have been more helpful. She was wonderfully attentive and sympathetic in her communications via telephone and email.
We sent the ring back to 77 for inspection via special delivery, as we live in Devon (200 miles from London). Our high postage costs were swiftly refunded which was a very nice and unexpected touch. We were also promptly informed of the rings safe arrival, which goes without saying how lovely that was to hear.
The ring was fully checked, repaired, cleaned and polished for FREE under their lifetime guarantee. This was a guarantee which I wasn't even aware we had until Sarah kindly informed me during initial contact. A high level of service seldom encountered anywhere these days in ANY sector, especially considering that almost a decade had passed since purchase. Very refreshing, and greatly appreciated.
Mariana kept us updated with the details and status of our repair throughout, which again was much appreciated, as it was the first time in 10 years that my wife had been even a day without wearing her ring, so understandably was feeling slightly anxious about it's absence.
Ring arrived back to us in a beautiful presentation box like brand new and letter detailing repair etc. Just perfect!
I rarely leave reviews for anything, but feel that the level of after sales service received from 77 went above and beyond the call of duty. Highly recommended, and in my opinion is what separates them from other jewellers.
