Plus: lots of different birds, good to see. Minus: dirty cages, faded glory, small living space, the stray dog is sweet, but our children thought it was scary because he came walking towards them. There were live rabbits in a waste container (which was slightly ajar). Conclusion: the children (5,3,2 yrs) enjoyed it, as an adult I didn't think the circumstances were good enough for the animals.

Small-scale, but with a surprising number of animals. Many of them are very tame, allowing them to get a closer look and even feed you. Lots of shade.
Do keep in mind that, if you come from Beesd, you have to turn into the parking lot in the bend before the park. It is not indicated.

The idea behind the park is very nice. Started with an owl collection which grew with other small animals, mostly mammals and birds. Fun for kids! Everything is a bit outdated though and could use maintenance and some upgrades to provide more freedom to the animals. Not very wheelchair friendly as halfway the route is a bridge with stairs. The only way is back and follow the route counterclockwise. Free parking. Opportunity for a drink or icecream. Dirty toilets.

Great zoo especially with birds! Many different animals and beautiful stays. Animals are clearly visible. Good use of the space by many staying to give extra tunnels so the animals from one side to the other hand.

17 February we went to the owl park with the grandchildren of 7 and 6 and 4 years old.
Nice to put on the boots and furthermore just enjoy, being very close to the animals
The boys of the large spotted dog were completely gone, they wanted to take them with them.
A wonderful afternoon for us and the boys and lots to see.

Went for the first time today, what a nice park! Friendly welcome and great price. Perfect to go with a small child, as it is large and small enough and you can see all the animals well. Our son is 2 and loves owls, he enjoyed himself a lot, also with the other animals. We will definitely come back!

Great cool animals, from guinea pigs and marmots to exotic birds, a lot of owls of course and even kangaroos. Although it is not as neat as a zoo, you do get much closer to the animals!

A nice little animal park to spend an hour or two looking around with the kids. Besides many owls, birds such as peacocks run free, and rabbits and guinea pigs can be petted. Many cages are constructed in such a way that the animals have room to move and can climb. In addition, there is a lot of shade, which is nice on hot days.

Opening hours on Facebook were more current, the park was now also open on Thursdays.

Surprisingly nice little animal park where you can get close to the animals and they are very active. You will not find lions or elephants but a good selection of birds and especially smaller animals.
It is not really beautifully landscaped and there are many information boards missing, but still good to pay a visit here.

Nicely designed Park with a diversity of animals. Nice walking route on natural paths and between the animals. Too bad it is already somewhat outdated. If the plumbing had been in order, I would have given it at least 4 stars.

Nice small-scale zoo. In the winter it is a bit bald, muddy and desolate. In the summer it is much nicer. Some animals are rather tight, the squirrels have a lot of space. There are tunnels and walkways for humans and animals. The owner is super nice and really enjoys it.

With 2 young children, we found this a perfect animal park as an activity in the summer holidays. Close to home, entrance is very reasonable and because of the small scale it is easy to visit within 2 hours. The kangaroo meadow is very nice because you walk in the middle of the animals. Meerkats, squirrels and monkeys are also fun to see because they can climb over the paths via walkways. It is not an animal park like Ouwehands, but a real hobby that has gotten out of hand and is enthusiastically shared by the owner with visitors. There is a lot of construction and renovation, so this park can only become more beautiful in the future!

September 20, 2015: A part of our family day was a visit to the Uilenbos on the Paay in Beesd. With 35 pers. we were very welcome there! Roger, the owner, had already prepared the long tables and we were allowed to enjoy our own picnic items. The only 'obligation' was a cup of coffee / tea or an ice cream. What a hospitality! Everyone could enjoy the route at their own pace and at their own pace that led past all kinds of beautiful animals! Everywhere people could read about the animals involved and the extra information added a lot! What a job Roger has done! In all those years, the park he set up himself has expanded and become increasingly attractive! Definitely recommended for anyone who has not been there yet! We, young and old, had a wonderful, fun and educational afternoon and saw how an involved, enthusiastic and hard-working animal lover made this all possible and allowed other people to enjoy it to the full. Thank you very much and we wish you a lot of success with your Owl and animal park, Roger!

My hobby is visiting zoos Worst Zoo ever It shouldn't have the name animal park Animals have a bad life Out of control hobby of the owner People who are really animal lovers don't give a good review

Nice animal park that I highly recommend!

Nice animal park that I highly recommend!
For a good affordable entrance fee you can very well entertain yourself for a few hours.
There are many (exotic) animal species here, all of which also look good and healthy. The amount of variation in the species to be seen is, in my opinion, more than good!

My only point of criticism is that a number of stays are rather dated, but this should not spoil the fun.
