Great building, well maintained, perfect location, good value

It is great staying at The Olivian. From the time we came to see the apartment to moving in, everything was seamless. Amanda was of great help and we highly recommend Olivian to our friends and family.

Great place to live and conveniently located in the city with easy access to the roadways and public transportation. Awesome amenities but more importantly a great staff and concierge group that s attentive to every detail and the residence. The best part is that the apartment units a vary spacious and well designed.

Easily the nicest apartment community I've ever lived in. I've lived here for over a year, after living in 3 other apartment buildings in Seattle.

Highlights of the Olivian:
- Centrally located, walking distance to most major bus lines that run through Seattle.
- 10 minute walk to either Capitol Hill or to Pike Place.
- Luxury finishes. My apartment has a cooking range with TWO ovens, plenty of cabinet space, and broad granite countertops.
- Management organizes tons of cool community events, where people get to know each other. Just this morning, building management invited me to a free breakfast on the clubhouse level. Last week they had chocolate and wine tastings for residents, for free. The level of service here is top-notch.
- Feels like home, with "warm" interior finishes using wood and stone. Other brand-new apartment buildings have cold, sterile finishes like exposed concrete and cheap materials - yuck! Why would you want to live in a concrete apartment??? The Olivian is so much nicer.
- Another review mentioned "cutting services" and noise. I don't agree with that at all. The service is amazing (as mentioned above), and the windows are remarkably soundproof.
- Related to my point about soundproof - the apartments have a chiller in them, which is a MAJOR relief on the hot summer days. No need to open windows, like you need to in other apartment buildings!

I could go on and on, but you need to check out the place for yourself.

My experience was even better than the first time I moved in! I lived here for several years, moved away for one year and came right back. Of course the shining star is Lani Dijulio. She always goes above and beyond to accommodate anyone who walks through the door with a beautiful smile, contagious positive energy and knowledge about every detail about every detail regarding The Olivian down to the memorization of bank routing numbers needed on the application! Her office is behind closed doors but she is ever present to the community with a line of people waiting to see her whether it is regarding a question about the building, the chance to say hello and to share experiences about the day, their lives, their dogs or kids just to name a few. She knows every resident in this building and even though she is part of the management team she is always the first to cover any position to help when things are busy, to cover for a colleague to have lunch or a break, answer questions in detail and most importantly to add contagious positivity to the community. Every resident that speaks to her leaves with a smile, has his/her question answered and knows that the entire Olivian team cares about each resident and will go above and beyond to make the property a home. I met her several years ago when I first moved in and placed a deposit within 5 to 10 minutes because I was certain I would be happy. Sure enough after leaving for a year I went straight back to the Olivian because this is home. She is a shining star. Most certainly she is joined by colleagues that are similar in nature. The manager , Russell, also makes every effort to come out of his office to greet the residents, socialize and of course is incredibly knowledgeable about the property, the city, other properties and Seattle in general. I didnt even have to fully move in to know that the move in experience is perfection.

I have only the best things to say about the Olivian in Seattle. My dad has lived there the past 6 years since my mom passed, and I could not ask for a better place for him to live! From the very first day, even before the first day, the staff has treated him (and me!) like family and they are so caring. They watch out for all of their residents and it is a warm and welcoming place to come home to. It really does feel like home! I know that my dad is very happy there and he loves everyone in the office, and I do too. We honestly consider them to be our friends, not staff. Lani always has a genuinely friendly smile, and everyone there calls my dad by name. The community has a lot of fun events, and the building is very safe. It is a quiet retreat right in the midst of a bustling city. Everything my dad needs is just steps from the front door and we both have amazing adventures because of living at the Olivian where it is so accessible to all.

Disclaimer - I decided to go ahead with another property and my rating is based on my interaction with the management.

I am planning to move to Seattle and The Olivian was one of the final 5 properties that we had shortlisted. I got a chance to talk to Amanda who was sweetheart to work with. She was very helpful and looked genuinely excited during our virtual tour. We (me and my girlfriend) loved the property and the management but decided to finalize a different property that met most of our needs. That being said, the next time we are looking, we will definitely consider the Olivian. Their 4.9 star rating looks to be well deserved and I would love the chance to call it our home.

Nice community with great amenities (gym, clubhouse, rooftop) that is in a location downtown within close proximity to restaurants, bars, and shopping. Staff is top notch and miss them dearly! Seattle city living at its finest.

We lived at The Olivian from May 2015-May 2018. We had a wonderful experience. We always felt "welcomed home" by the amazing staff. The apartments are beautiful and superbly maintained. When we had a maintenance issue it was solved asap. The amenities are also great. The building is very clean and dog friendly. We highly recommend living here.

Amazing experience!!! Lani was able to answer every single question I threw her way. Russel was very kind and welcoming. Between the two of them, they converted a stressful home-finding visit to Seattle to an incredibly pleasant experience. 11/10. Would lease again.

I have lived in many apartment buildings and this is the only property that has provided Gold Star service. The leasing office is approachable, the concierge desk responsive and maintenance techs respond to most problems within 24 hours. Well maintained and excellent location.

Spacious, modern and well positioned. It has everything we need and want in an apartment, the shared spaces are great, and the staff very involved in making the experience wonderful. The move-in process was seamless and stress free, from the first meeting to final furniture delivery.

Terrific staff, seriously. From the welcoming front desk, staffed 24 hours a day, to the awesome management staff, its a pleasure living here. Theirs even a wine cooler downstairs next to the gym. Very first world.

If you are looking at renting at the Olivian i recommend Michael Savage very highly.
He showed me around at least 3 or 4 times before i signed a lease and really helped me feel comfortable that i was making a great decision. Which it was.

I lived here twice I liked it so much. I used an apartment finder service to find an apartment and looked at over 40 buildings in and around Downtown. In the end, I went with the Olivian both times (I moved away for work and came back).

Having lived all over Downtown Seattle from 2011-2017, to me, nothing beats the Olivian. The views, the price per sq ft, the amenities, the staff, the furnishings in the apartments and the walk-ability to everything downtown is unbeatable. If you are new to Seattle or thinking of moving here?--- live here. You won't find a better place to live then Olivian.

It's a quiet, professional building with a wonderful and courteous staff. They are also very helpful if you are new to town. The move in and move out process is super easy. I never once had a problem with this place and maintenance was superb. When you file a request, don't be surprised if its done the same day. Parking spots are large. There's storage onsite. Food downstairs, tons of restaurants and shopping nearby. The views are spectacular. I lived on both sides of the building--Cap Hill view and City/Sound view. The apartments are large for downtown as well, you won't find bigger units in the area then what they offer here.

I loved this place. I was sad to go but bought a house and moved on. I highly recommend living here if you are looking for the perfect place to call home.

Needs to prioritize movers from people doing dump runs. There's 7 days a week and 1 loading dock.

We have lived at the Olivian for 8 years and love it!

This is our second property living in downtown Seattle and we could not be happier. Aleiya was our primary contact and she was awesome! One thing that stuck with me was she started at the front desk and worked her way up. That showed a lot about what type of community this was. She genuinely loved the property and her job and it showed. The property itself just has this feeling of being a "Home". We could not be happier and look forward to spending the next year here.

We've been living at The Olivian only three months, and it was definitely the right decision to move here. The apartments are well-appointed, the staff is great, and the close proximity to our favorite places can't be beat.

Nice building in a central location. The building has a guest suite, which comes in handy when guests visit.

I looked for apartments for quite a while, and Olivian met the criteria needed. As a young couple, we were pleased with our move-in experience.

The building was pretty nice a few years ago, but they've been cutting services and it's surrounded by construction. I recommend going elsewhere.

I've lived at The Olivian for two years and it has been wonderful. The building and the apartments are beautiful, the staff is responsive and friendly, and the location is the best in Seattle. I can't think of any way that my experience there could have been better.

The team at the Olivian is stellar. Whatever I need - from repairing the lock on my patio door to replacing my refrigerator - happens instantly. Plus, Lani and the rest of the team couldn t be more friendly, welcoming and helpful. I ve been a happy resident since early 2015.

The Olivian has a great location run by a great team! After seeing 10+ buildings in Seattle, The Olivian felt like home the minute I walked in the door for a tour. Great floorplans, large apartments, and nice amenities. Highly recommend to those that are moving to Seattle and want to be close to public transportation, I-5, and shopping / nightlife.

Wonderful staff! These guys truly go above and beyond to fit individual needs and to make you feel at home :)

I cannot say enough about my experience living here. The staff is very accommodating and the building is gorgeous. The amenities here are top-notch; clubhouse, movie theater, gym, sky lounge, pet park, HUGE rooftop deck with views of the sound, lake union, the Olympics, the Cascades and Mt. Ranier. If that wasn't enough, the building is in the perfect location! There is so much within walking distance that I rarely drive since moving here. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would.
