Great shopping for anything you need plus the food court 3 stars

The security found my lost backpack!!!! I stupidly forgot it at the food court and walked away. I was gone for 5 minutes and when I remembered and rushed back it was gone :(
I contacted the security guard who quickly looked over the video tapes and we were able to locate my bag!!!

There is a food court in the basement. There is also a ramen shop. San Francisco has a high restaurant, so I'm happy with the food court, but I don't want homeless people to come in and want something. Japanese should eat carefully with baggage.
Buy 2 chocolates of Girardelli's large pack on the 1st floor and get 1 free gift as a souvenir because it is the closest place to shopping from Union Square.
There are many other recommended shops for souvenirs in Japan.
The photo of the review posted the food of Panda Express. I think it is reasonable and fits the Japanese mouth.

Most of the things you need. 2 great food courts and a lot of shops. Docked one star for the confusing escalators.

TRANSGENDERED VERBAL ASSAULT & BATTERY Westfield San Francisco Shopping- Lower Level Food Court Restrooms on Tues. 11/6/2017 12:20 pm
UNBELIEVABLY, I was told by the 1st Allied Universal Security Guard, they have an OFFICIAL HANDS OFF- NO TOUCH POLICY with verbal assaulters & batterers even when their shoppers/patrons are attacked! The GUARDS can only get involved, when the assaulter or batterer does it to them. I don t get it at all!
Action Request: Westfield San Francisco Shopping Centre & the Allied Universal Security Corporation need to immediately adjust this Hands Off & No Touch offender policy. People s safety is more important to address than stolen merchandise.
There has to be internal video camera footage in the Westfield SF Shopping Centre- in my opinion, the AU Guards should be to review the day s videotaping of what happened in the mall. There is no reason to NOT be able to track the offender- from the second they entered the Westfield SFSC, to the bathrooms, & finally racing out of the mall onto to Market Street
Immediately following the Assault & Battery DXXX pleaded to a 2nd Allied Universal Security Personnel to apprehend the assailant, who was fleeing right in front of the 2nd Guard to the exit onto Market Street. This 2nd Allied Security Guard did NOTHING!
When XXXX & I were discussing an action plan with the Westfield SF Shopping Centre 1st AU Guard- a WITNESS came forward to verify XXXX s representation of the facts. I asked for this person s telephone number, & they freely gave to me.
It was for us to go to SFPD- Central District Police Station, 766 Vallejo Street, San Francisco. XXXX turned extremely pale & frightened. She definitely didn t want, nor did XXXX have the wherewithal to deal with the public nor the SFPD personnel after the Assault & Battery. XXXX was given a Westfield SF Shopping Centre Mall Incident Report to complete. She was so emotionally fragile, ready to faint, & just wanting to sleep, XXXX took it home. She promised, the report form would be filled out & returned on Wed. 11/7/2017.
I am shook up, angry, & disturbed re: this Assault & Battery of a Transgendered person. XXXX would never, ever, never, ever, never harm anyone verbal or phsically.

It is large and has various shops. Price range is high. However, the underground food court is a normal price.

the food court is the best i've had. real restaurants in the food court. the free samples of longhorns beef is outstanding.

the shops are standard fare, nice and interesting, but limited. small mall actually..

the mall isn't for the cheap, but it is true in giving you high end items for a fair high end price..

Perfect place to spend some hours. Day will pass super quickly, there are a lot of stuff to do and check out.

There are lots of shops and it's fun. I do not use it, but the underground food court looked convenient.

You can find anything here, and its close to public transit.

It's a mall. The food court is not nice, and many stores have very limited offerings due to space limitations (I.e. you're better off going to the flagship store just down the block)

They've lost some tenants. Bathrooms aren't well maintained and insufficient in number. Security personnel lock exits where signs are posted that they are to remain open while building is occupied. Since security leaves the area after locking doors and due to the absence of signs, the result is seeing people try door after door until finding one that remains unlocked.

Local news recently reported a large fight occurred on the property which mall security was unable to handle and required outside professional assistance. News also reported that the mall had to unexpectedly close early as a result. Although there are some nice shops and food choices, these issues aren't consistent with a true first class mall.

A nice mall in the heart of Downtown SF. After shopping, grabbed a quick bite at LobsterMe!

Upstairs, there is a very good way to eat singapore crab and losbster.

So many floors of shopping it's hard to decide what to do. It's gets quite crowded in here, but for the amount of choices you get to shop at, it's good. I can't remember what BART station it is, but if you get off at it, you can go directly into the mall without having to wander the streets of SF. Wish a Gamestop was in here, but it's a small walk down the street.

I'm only giving 4 stars because as a local I don't want to deal with that many Tourists, which also causes higher prices and lower selections.

Nice and clean, food court is not as good as in the other malls

This is one of the largest malls in the United States and it uses every inch of it's space to impress. The food court is like any other mall food court, and, unfortunately, there are no other food options elsewhere. Direct connections to public transit (the Bay Area Rapid Transit and the SFMTA Metro) is nice, although the size and complexity of the mall can be a bit overwhelming.

Department stores in Market street in the Powell, it is worth entering, in the square you take the tourist tram and Tourist Information Office. San Fco has a good public transport in the European style, on the 28 it takes you to the Golden but you have to take another to link, $ 2.50 the ticket you can get off one bus link with another with the same ticket.

It's a beautiful place to enjoy and to do a little shopping, and the food is not that bad neither

Nice mall but can be very crowded at times also has a very good food court with a great selection. Of different food types.

Their food court has a lot of menus to offer, it s a nice place to fill your tummy incase you get cravings for something to eat while shopping. The department stores are mostly high end brands, and have so much to offer, so come and visit.

The mall is a great place to shop and eat and if your into jordans or any other kind of shoes its a great place to shop

It is a shopping mall, what more to say. Seems to always have shops closing and coming soon signs. Generally nice and clean.

Pretty cool mall layout. Lots of nice food court options. Limited store options though...Nothing too interesting or unique to young adults.

A large shopping center in the center of San Francisco, pity that Bristol Farms has closed its Store that provided any type of food.
However, there are many other shops in the Food Court and in the rest of the mall you can really find everything.

This conference hall is beautiful and well designed.

You'll find most major brands in here. Clean. Unlike other Westfield's I've been to, there's not too many places to hang out/sit down after hours of shopping, unless it's in a restaurant.

Beautiful & very dynamic. mix of people living together makes it awesome .

Well what can I say it's a mall but it's down town you have to find your own parking

Pretty much just went here for the food. It was really good.

Good selection of shops. Confusing access / entrances.

They have parking garage next block, but there's no discount, after you shopping around few hours later

I Love the dining options here! It's very exciting around the holidays! Busy, but fun!
