Would definitely come back, and maybe try out some of the shakes. Ice cream of course is yummy too.
You d really only visit Westfield San Francisco Centre Square for the famous ice cream shop that is there.
Lots of great places to shop! I always come in on public transit, BART
Nice mall full of name brands shops and many food options. Clean and modern.
Highly recommended.
However outside the mall there are disgusting conditions around Union Square and nearby areas.
Avoid eye contact with the beggars as they may insult you if you do not give them money. Surprisingly aggressive. They seem to target the mall entrances.
Inside the mall itself security ensures safety and freedom from harassment.
Very lovely mall for shopping. A variety of retailers.
Today my mother in law stopped a man from stealing a woman s backpack in the food court. The man was very aggressive when we accused him of stealing and then proceeded to throw water on us. I went directly to mall security and pointed out the man and security told me they could do nothing other than throw him out. The man was working with an accomplice and it was clear they worked this mall all the time. The mall absolutely could do more than throw this man out once. They could do what every other establishment does and make sure criminals are not allowed on the premises to prey upon their customers. I live in SF and have been going to this mall a long time and could not be more disappointed in their response to us. If you come here, please be aware of your surroundings and know that thieves prowl the premises.
Love this mall. Located in down town San Francisco on Market. Has many shops, restaurants and a movie theater.
When I came to San Francisco, I was pretty close. The underground food court is cheap and recommended. There are many places other than restaurants and it's fun enough
Elegant shopping center in San Francisco. It is very accessible for its location and has good shops.
It a good shoping place and thay have a movie theater inside
Hard to find stores across multiple levels. Mostly higher end expensive shops. Clean and secure though.
I quite like the shopping center especially the food court. There are a good selection of different store like Eddie Bauer, Banana Republic, and the Century movie theater.
Very nice mall with lots of stores and a huge selection for the food court
Lots of great stores! Great food court too. Not a lot of food options, but what they do have is great.
Super fun and large! It is closed Sundays and finding parking can be a bit tricky. I would look into where the best deal on parking is before you go as the mall can take all day to explore :)
Large variety of retail stores. Easily accessible by public transit with stop being inside the mall.
Food here is meh. Typical mall food. Outside the mall is seedy as is typical of DT SF.
Probably one of the nicest mall in the City, love that it has both a Bloomingdales and a Nordstrom, and the food court is actually pretty good. Parking could be a lot easier. Typically I park like 30-40 minutes away and just walk really far because my car can't go into the 5th and mission garage. Much easier to take the bart in my opinion.
Great mall with lots of restaurants and stores. Wide selection. And a movie theatre
Today we witnessed a case of ignorance towards sexual harassment by a Westfield security guard. When my partner and I entered the mall, a woman in front of us was being cat called by some guys lirking in front of the mall. When she did not respond, they started following her inside the mall. We wanted to make security aware of the problem and the first guard in front of a different shop was very helpful and because of lack of authority given to him called a Westfield guard over. This guard immediately, after giving a brief description of the circumstances, asked if the woman was wearing a "low cut dress and well endowed?", making a gesture suggesting huge breasts. My partner felt immediately offended and walked away, as we felt the guard was implying that "the woman asked for it if she dressed to pretty", while I asked the guard how that mattered. After that the guard replied that he was being called away by his supervisors for a different task and left.
Maybe PCS, the security provider for the mall, can educate their staff, that sexual harassment is a real thing and that it starts with the people harassing, and NOT the victims. It should be added to the securities tasks to pay attention to these incidents, as there are bound to be more happening at a place this size.
They have great shops, good food places, and good attractions.
Classic supermarket with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. Affordable price and for without Francisco attractive reduced price on sale city as much as you do not have the tips to calculate nor to add. Interesting hours from 8:30 in the morning and late at night 21h. Really ultra practical except for souvenirs for tourists (few choices and not the most attractive prices). An excellent value downtown store chain.
Gotta be bold to reach here. Don't take your car it will get broken into, you will encounter crazy people and the whole area smells of weed. But if you make it inside it's awesome.
I love that they kept the huge ceiling dome when they remodeled the building.
It's kind of a dead place these days except for the holiday season.
HIgh-end stores in a high-end shopping center. Don't look for deals here but for high class fashion in high-class shops.
Complicated and poorly laid out and doesn't have much useful.
The Westfield shopping center is conveniently located in the heart of downtown San Francisco. The area is close to Union Square as well as many other shops and locations to see. The BART also connects to the mall at the Powell St station. There are many different high end shops to visit as well as small little restaurant boutiques that sell a variety of different and interesting foods. Great stop in San Francisco.
Always enjoyed coming here. Close to Union Square and has all the shops I like.
It's a mall in downtown SF, near Union Square. Honestly my favorite part of this place is that it's accessible directly from the Powell Muni/BART station. Really helpful during the rainy months.
Other than that, you have an assortment of mid range and upscale stores. The food court mostly has chains but.at least it's relatively cheap.
Indoor shopping for rainy days. They have a wide option of stores. Food court. Bloomingdales and Nordstrom as anchor stores plus a movie theater. You can even catch the train on the down level.
Amongst the most modern malls in which to shop in America.
Amazing huge mall with an amazing food court. You ll find clothes and food within almost any price range.
A great shopping center with all the facilities but no bit confusing
Great place to explore the shops, grab a bite to east, and get on your way. It isn't to crowded which is nice if you're in a hurry.
This place has writhing you need under one roof. If you need it most likely you can find it here. It may not for everyone's budget but it's a starting point.
Dirty. The restrooms were really dirty with empty toilet seatcover dispensers.
Big selection of name brand stores and plenty to eat that's tasty. Reasonably easy to find your way around. Internal connection to BART and Muni is handy.
Good mall with many many stores to cover every choice or niche
This place was still under construction or remodeling.... most of the "staple" stores are there with plenty of space for growth.
As tourist, we felt safe and the place was clean
Lotsa stores if not inside nearby outside. Food court is good. Cool spiral escalators
Something I would get lost in the mall lol but their is couple business I would like to come back in the further
Fun shopping mall and lovely circular escalator with scenic choices of where I want to go, you can be there all day and still not see everything. The downstairs food court is good too.
First time being there. Was so busy but I had a great time.
Food court has good selection, and it is connected to the Powell station.
It was nice, kind of small but koo. Have to pay for parking
First time here at this mall, first impressions is that it's very big with lots of stores for everyone and proven as I was able to get a few gifts that I was looking for. Love the fact that the upper levels are dedicated to Nordstroms. The mall itself it well kept, clean and bright. It's quite popular and can be busy at times with many different types of people. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area and would definitely recommend to those who are looking for a wide variety shopping mall.
It's a mall.. a mall! lol I only go here when I just have to. It's not bad, it's just a mall!
Go see a movie, or eat mall food! It's a mall!
Store wise the usual suspects are here. I am glad I don't have to be there shopping with Christmas crowds. All in all it's great to have in San Francisco!
Great for shopping many selections of great stores. Never been disappointed
This is the spot to visit if you need to pee or dispose of your needles when downtown
Very organized and nice.
However we struggle finding Toy Stores and didn't seem to kid-friendly.
A very nice place and to go shopping and places to eat ..
FANTASTIC...
Nice place for shopping. Watch out for the homeless outside.
Easy place to get retail shopping done for men, women, kids
Filled with mall rats waiting to steal your shopping bags and untrustworthy employees
Besides the guy taking a number 2 outside for all of San Francisco tourist to see this place was great
