The cubscouts had a blast and its educational we all had a great time
Great place to lean NASA history, especially the Apollo program and Saturn rockets. Late winter Saturday was not overly busy. Hands on exhibits and rides are included with entry.
This place was AMAZING!! Would recommend it for anyone of any age!!
Overall a good experience, but first half is not very educational/interesting and is mostly focused on stimulating young kids. The food court is of acceptable quality and price, just keep your expectations at an appropriate level. However, the Saturn V exhibit is really, really cool and well designed. Folks are available to talk to that actually worked in the rocket program and are highly knowledgeable. The exhibits surrounding the rocket are highly educational and interesting.
We love this place. So much to see and do. I would give 5 stars but there are a few things that dropped the rating. 1 every thing needs to be cleaned. Just a good dusting will be good. 2 Some of the exhibits especially outside need some tlc and some paint. 3 the restaurant closes early in the day. It really needs to stay open atleast until 4pm. Other than these little things it is wonderdul.
This tour will take you a good 3 hrs, at least, if you do everything probably 5 hrs. But it's a very fun and informative experience. Plus they have simulators and rides.
It's a fun place to spend a rainy afternoon. Quite a few of the displays were broken.
Very cool place to visit. Many cool and unique displays. Great information around every turn. Could visit here daily for a week and be able to soak up all the vast knowledge. I want to go back.
U.S Space & Rocket Center In Huntsville, Alabama has the world largest indoor space education for the entire family.
The entire staff and the employees at the gift shop went above the moon to make sure my son had the best NASA experience of a lifetime.
My youngest son wants to work at NASA one day after he gradates from college.
Every since he could walk, he wanted to fly to the moon.
He has been drawing new space and rocket suits for year now.
Rain is now 12 year old, and wants to redesign the next rocket ships.
Because of my youngest son passion, for rockets and NASA.
I decided to drive my son to the, U.S Space & Rocket Center In Huntsville, Alabama as a birthday gift.
The space program is one of my country's most glorious achievements. I am so proud of what we accomplished by coming together as a nation and it gives me hope that we be better moving forward.
This is another must see in Huntsville. Very educational and lots of fun.
Outstanding museum with many hands-on exhibitions. Could easily spend all day there.
Great place for family and to learn and witness America's historical past.
This is the best place that I have ever been to and its so awesome. You can learn about how the rockets and shuttles were built and I would most curtainly come here again because its so cool so I give this plaxe 5 stars.!!
Awesome place. Don't watch a feature movie in their I Max as it's very, very old. Rest of place, plan on spending lots of time.
Fun place to bring visitors to show off our little piece of Alabama.
Free admission with any other astc science membership. Could easily spend the entire day here. Be sure to wear tennis shoes if you want to climb the rock wall
It was a lot of fun and a lot of history I didn't know !
Lots of very interesting and detailed explanations regarding rocket design, development and testing before launching. Lots to look at and learn about.
Great place to catch some space history and hear about the future
If you are interested in space past and present, this is a must see.
If you're a space nut or just have an interest in the history of US space travel the US Space & Rocket Center is a must see.
A must see for families, veteran friendly. We had an amazing experience and spent well over three hours in the exhibits and exploring the outdoor displays. Museum and facility staff are subject matter experts and very helpful.
These camps are utterly amazing! Both my boys have been two consecutive years. The oldest (18 yrs) graduates high school and is going off to college. But younger brother (15 yrs) already has his sights set on Cyber Camp next year!
Awesome place! The museum and exhibits were amazing. If you are even remotely interested in space or rockets, you have to visit this place. The Saturn 5 rockets are worth the visit alone - the shuttle and military exhibits are the icing on the cake. Space Camp goes on here as well and my kids (12 year olds) said they loved it. I can't speak to the admissions prices as we got in free with our Camp tuition, but the Cafe prices were high, as you would expect at an amusement park.
The museum was awesome. I grew up in the neighborhood across the highway from it. Ive been many times on field trips. O ordered chicken fingers/FF. Both were cold
Despite the COVID conditions and some closures, it was still a very enjoyable experience.
Had a great time here. Learned a lot. We could have spent another day here. When you come be sure to take the bus tour.
Awesome museum and a must for space nuts. There are numerous interactive exhibits. Probably necessary at peak times, but distracting for the wee ones when there is no competition for the simulators. Get ready to say, sure you can go again. I just like the fact the rides are included in the price.
Here's a place I thoroughly enjoyed from the moment I parked the car.
Met my Daughter and Granddaughters in Huntsville for a day at the Space Center. We had been once before when She was in College but this place has really grown and had lots more to offer in the museum and the different aircraft and space modules outside. We really enjoyed our visit. Would suggest taking your own drinks and snacks or picnic to enjoy outside as the food court is very pricey.
Needs to be updated and maintensnce performed. Most outdoor attractions need to be painted, placard not legible, and not displayed nice. Just kinda haphazard.
Excellent. A fun way for kids to learn about space and the rockets that have taken us there.
It is cool i went on the gforce i was in the space shot it was cool i am alberto cruz
Kids loved the experience and want to do it again. A couple of issues are with bathroom and vegetarian meals. Bathrooms are dated but could be a lot cleaner....old structure but if kept clean, would be nice. Our oldest is vegetarian and he thought they could have better selection for veg meals.
Even with a couple of these issues, we would go again.
A lot of fun even on a rainy day. So much to learn!
It was a fun visit. I would recomend looking through the first building quickly then go to the second and if time permits look at the first a little more. Second was better IMO. The is a lot to see and do so have plenty of time and don't get stuck in one place too long. I think for the price all should be included but we did not do the theatre and stayed plenty busy. It costs the same to add theatre later so I would wait and see if you have time... Don't wear your sitting shoes. You will walk/stand most of your time here.
Lots to do... Staff very friendly and knowledgeable
It s looking a little run down on the outside (as of spring 2018 renovations are underway) but inside there is something for everyone. Kids will like the ISS exhibit and several areas just for kids, while older visitors will like the Saturn V hall with stories about our journey to space. There is outdoor picnicking and a great play area. Plus there are two rides that give the younger crowd a thrill too. All around, a great place to spend the day.
Great place to take the family no matter the age. Expect to spend the day, lots of cool stuff to see.
Awesome so organized. Can't wait to hear how my son likes it
Been going here for 20 years. It's always really cool, and neat to see it through my son's eyes now.
Great place for inspiration, information and food isn't bad either. Loved the IMAX movie.
Very awesome even with a 3 yo wanting to get into everything.
Somewhat dated facility and several of the outside exhibits need a little love. Still an entertaining and enjoyable place to visit
Amazing learning experience about America's space program!!
Great docents! Some even had first hand experience working on the Saturn V.
Enjoyable stop for the family. It is a bit expensive and the cafe was closed on the day we visited which made feeding hungry kids problematic.
Best place to visit!!! Great for anyone. Love this place!
You have gotta see the rockets in person...it is so amazing.
When as a kid and now taking my kids. Awesome place to visit.
They need to add more to the outside exhibits. They removed 80% of them. Still neat to see once.
We took our 3 month old for his first 4th of July. He loved all of the new things to look at and his dad and I enjoyed learning about space travel history!
What an amazing weekend at space camp!! My son and I went with the scout pack and had a blast.
Great place to stop by and see for both locals and people passing through.
10/10 Biergarten event every Thursday in the summer months if you can check it out!
Ots was fabulous to see. Every stagf member was friendly and asked if we needed hekp funding things before i could even ask. I definitely reccomend!!!
See the Saturn V first. It is the best thing there.
Seeing the Saturn V was awesome. That said $25 seemed pretty steep as the Saturn V was pretty much all there was to see. I did the exhibit in 1.5 hours. Walked around the outdoor part for another half an hour and that was it.
First visit was a very, very long time ago when stationed at Redstone. 1000 per cent better now even my teenage kids liked it
