A long waiting outside, staff are more friendly and cooperative than when I came there last time, but spending 3 hours inside is excessive, as there were only 2 windows open for interviews, still an overall better experience than last year's one...

I've had to call wayy to many times to get help bringing a US citizen in Yemen to America. The customer service is exceptionally HORRIBLE - it's like they don't care for your concerns. If I could give 0 stars I would.

It was one of the most humiliating and depressing experiences of my life. To tell the truth, the Egyptian staff were very nice and hospitable. There was one American woman who almost spat in my face. I really felt like I was the guest at her country not the opposite, even though she along with the rest take their salaries from the "likes" of me. If the USA doesn't want visitors like me, then so be it. The world is big enough for me to spend my money on.
To me, my trip/experience regarding the US embassy=depression and humiliation, not because I was rejected, but because it was an unfair interview altogether!
I regret ever thinking of visiting!

Rude staff. Extreme security measures. Humiliating waiting area (which is actually outside the embassy permission in the sun).
Third-world treatment. Unexplained anger and frustration from Egyptian and American employees alike. Trashy coffee. No questions answered by anyone of the staff anywhere, regardless of what the question is. P.s. I'm a US visa holder

I've got to be honest--after living in several countries outside the US over the past 15 years, I have never had a worse embassy experience than I have here. The employees were rude, unclear and caused us no end of frustration trying to get a passport renewed. I was told we could come without an appointment and the guards refused to let my husband in. He called me, I called ACS, the woman was rude, wouldn't even tell me her name (it's policy! What on earth?!?) and told me the issue was resolved. I had no idea if my husband got in or not. I could go on but I won't. Just be prepared for a headache....

I first went there to get my visa. Then I used to go to the Irc, a good place to have many scientific and fun activities. I agree to the sophisticated security, including lookin inside my wallet, and some rude stuff at the gate.

Day after Memorial Day one of your representatives...

Day after Memorial Day one of your representatives seemed intoxicated and his appearance looked liked if he just woken up from bed and threw clothes on himself and his appearance was unhygienic. Your representative only looked at my client s passport and did not ask any questions and denied my client s application and typed what he choose to write about my client. when I asked your representative what was his name , he refused to answer. When I questioned your representative of asking no questions was fair, he became angry. I think if your consultants who are representing the US , your representative should learn if he is going to go out partying and drinking and have a hangover the next day, he shouldn t come into work and deny over 10 people who were qualified just because your representative has a headache from being intoxicaded the day before and he doesn t feel like doing his job , shouldn t represent the US. I sure as heck didn t appreciate his Anti Muslim speaking.
