Not happy with my office visit at all. I came in for a diagnosis and all I was told was "it's a rash" but it didn't look cancerous. Dr. David Meyer took one very brief look at the affected area and dismissed it as "dermatitis". Dr. David Meyer appears very young and is apparently inexperienced. I should've asked for another one of the doctors on staff (assuming there is one) to take a look at it while I was there in the office rather than just accepting the "you have a rash" answer I was given. I was sent away with a prescription for some hydrocortisone cream, which did absolutely nothing. The little red spots were not going away but were actually spreading/multiplying. I sought out a second opinion and have since obtained a different treatment which has cured the problem. I would not recommend Dr. M. David Meyer or the Center For Dermatology, Plano. While his "bedside manner" might be nice to some people, his knowledge and skill seem to be lacking. Overall I felt like this place is one of those doctor's offices that pushes a high volume of patients through and spends very little time with each one. I wasted my money, and more importantly, my time going there.

I have been a long time patient of this particular clinic. I recently received a newsletter from them stating that the office is undergoing a re-branding of sorts. It seems as though this clinic is now a part of a larger corporation - U.S. Dermatology Partners. As a patient, I chose to do my due diligence to ensure that this change wouldn't affect me and came across some uncomfortable information about the company - I am utterly shocked and appalled. I'm sharing this here because I feel that all patients of this practice should be well-informed of who is providing their care. Suffice it to say, I will not be returning.

A Britney from the Business Office number who worked on 8/18 at 2:50 CT must have been 10 minutes away from being clocked out of her shift because she was very impatient and gave an attitude after being asked to explain a bill twice. I apologize as a patient who requested nicely for an explanation to be repeated just twice from a rep whose job is to explain an answer to a question. Heads up for those in customer service jobs. Act nice at your job. We are all hurting during Covid.

The lobby was beautiful which you can see from my pitcures! This was my first visit and it was a very pleasant experience. The front desk staff were very nice and friendly. The dermatologist was very knowledgeable and was very courteous.

They bought my two previous Dermo offices. I used the Plano location for yearswhere I loved my PA. Also used Sherman Tx office. Plano office is dreadful to get anyone to answer, long holds, hang ups and poor on returns. Sherman is pretty responsive. I think they are both geared to aesthetic procedures like botox. If you have a skin cancer you have to make an appointment to be seen even with biopsy results in hand ,then another to get scheduled for surgery. In my case both offices would not work with my schedule and concerns and I was looking at a 3 week wait just for appointment. Also had problems getting them in past to take my insurance even though they were shown to be a network provider. So for BOTOX and Pimples probably good. Skin cancer..leave a message, we might get back to you ,hope you're not in a hurry about your cancer.
